One week left to Semester 2 and L has offered to help you in finishing up your holiday homework.
The library was empty and you grumbled as you glance at your phone. “Aish! He’s late!”
Speaking of the devil, he suddenly appeared in front of you.
“Hey, sorry for being late.. And woah. You have quite a lot to do!” L looked at the stack of papers and books on the table.
He doesn’t show that he’s surprise at all. You rolled your eyes, thinking that he is one emotionless guy but in actual fact, he doesn’t know how to express his emotions through his facial expressions. His face is always serious. Too serious to joke around with.
“So, what do you want me to help you with?” he sat down beside you.
“Everything. But let’s do Math first.” You gave him the paper.
He scanned through the question. “Hmm.. This is easy.”
Easy for you to say. You thought.
“If you bring out the y over to the other side, the 2x will be left alone. 12 over y is equal to 2x and you shift the 2 over to the other side, you’ll get 12 over 2y. Understand?” he explained step by step.
You just nodded continuously.
“So, x is equal to 12 over 2y. That’s the answer.” L wrote down everything for you.
Two long hours of have passed since you’ve finish all your Math homework. There were only science and history left. Your stomach growled a little and you put your hand on your stomach to prevent more growling.
Not now please? Wait a while longer. You begged your stomach.
