He could hear voices in the room, quiet and scared voices. Chanyeol didn’t recognize the voices though and as he slowly woke up he realized he was laying on a cold hard ground somewhere that smelled very musty. Scrunching his nose, Chanyeol rolled over and heard the clinking of chains as he did so. Was he tied up? Was this some sort of joke? Blinking away an awful headache that made the lights ten times brighter than they probably really were, Chanyeol sat up and rubbed his head, wondering where he was.

Suddenly the voices went quiet that he’d heard before and Chanyeol looked around, finally seeing three other people. “H-Hello…” Chanyeol greeted, looking at the three. Instantly, a blond curly haired male cleared his throat and waved ever so slightly towards Chanyeol. “Hello.” He said in greeting, then went quiet like the other three. Looking down at his chains, Chanyeol tried to tug them off, only for a boy with rainbow hair to snort and shake his head. “You’re not going to get them off. We already tried.” He then jingled his own chains to show they had some too.

“Where are we?” Chanyeol asked, only partially giving up on trying to escape the chains. He’d put his hands in his lap so the others couldn’t see that he was still tugging occasionally in hopes that maybe the shackles on his were loose or something. “We don’t know…” The dark haired male said with a small frown of his lips. “The only windows are over there and all we see is grass and sky…” The dark haired male said, pointing over towards a window across the wide room.

“This basement stinks…” The rainbow haired guy muttered with a pout and looked towards the blonde before then looking at Chanyeol and the dark haired male. “If we could open a window it’d be better.” Chanyeol said, trying to be optimistic. “Yeah, then we could sneak out and be free…” The rainbow haired guy said with a flat expression of his face before turning away. Obviously he wasn’t in the mood to talk so Chanyeol shut his mouth now and stared at the others. The four sat in silence for a little bit before the blonde curly haired guy spoke up. “I’m Lu Han by the way…” He then fidgeted with his chains some, finding something to do with his hands.

“Lu Han? Is that like…Chinese?” The rainbow haired one asked, twisting some to face the blonde who nodded. “I’m Sehun.” He said and then looked at the remaining two to introduce themselves. “Chanyeol” Chanyeol introduced himself with a smile that caused his ears to move ever so slightly
