Kai sweeps her into his arms.

"Take good care of them. They're kissingurami."

"Kissingurami?"

"If one dies . . . "

"If one dies?"

"The other dries up from loneliness."

Solbi takes another look at two fish.

Suddenly, they seemed to be much more of a prophecy.

With her stomach on the ground, memories of Luhan seep through her skin.

Her finger trembles a while on the trigger. One eye's eyelashes flutter in an effort to stay closed.

A week later, in Paris, Solbi finally meets Luhan in a hidden alleyway.

The first thing he does is slap her hard across the face.

Solbi collapses on the ground cupping her cheek and Luhan kicks her viciously in the stomach before forcefully pulling her to her feet and slamming her against brick walls.

"What the were you thinking, huh? I gave you your mission! It was the simplest thing on Earth to complete! What the hell were you doing?!"

Solbi falls to her knees on the ground, hanging her head low, her hair covering her ashen face.

"You know as well as I do what I was thinking or else you wouldn't be this upset, Luhan."

Luhan's face curls into something ugly.

"Damn right I do, Solbi. But let me remind you that you're mine."
