Someday.
It's been two days since the night I found Baekhyun that night, and he didn't go to school since then. I bet he hasn't recovered yet. I walked though the school corridor, and Chanyeol was there.
"There you are!" He said excitedly, and now all eyes in the corridor were on me. Of course everybody was staring. Chanyeol was that one of Baekhyun's popular gang, and he was calling me, a girl who was nobody.
"Lower your voice, will you?"
"Sorry." He said. "I've been looking for you, Shin Hye-ssi."
"It's Jin Hye." I corrected.
"Okay, but that's not the point." He added. "Baekhyun wants to meet you."
My eyes widened. "Is he at school now?"
"Unfortunately, no." Chanyeol said. "He's still hiding because... You know, he doesn't want his image ruined because of those scars on his face."
"Has he recovered?"
He nodded. "He's waiting for you."
I came to Han River after Chanyeol told me the place. It wasn't as crowded as usual, perhaps because the weather was cold and people were too lazy to go outside. Somehow, this place reminds me of the day when Baekhyun and I escaped from school together. My eyes caught someone who was wearing a black hoodie.
It was him.
I can't explain how relieved I actually feel after not seeing him in three days. It might sound weird, but I started to get used to Baekhyun's existence around me. I get used to how he teased me, how he laughed at my joke, and all those little things. We're friends, after all.
"Hey." He smiled as soon as he saw me.
"Hey." I replied. "So, are you feeling better?"
"As you can see." He shrugged.
"All I see is a desperate guy with scars on his face."
"How do you know I'm desperate?"
"Because I'm your friend?"
He chuckled. "
