For 23 years of living, Kyuhyun and Hyukjae had been certain that they would have a small wedding party at the right time and spend the rest of their life together. But unexpectedly, their country was intruded and Kyuhyun had no other option but to join the army.

The day he left for the battle, he kissed Hyukjae goodbye and told the other to wait for him so that they would get married.

The day his death notice arrived after two years without any news, Hyukjae felt that even though his heart was beating, it was dead from the inside.

The day Kyuhyun’s father came down with a heart attack, Hyukjae finally agreed to marry Choi Siwon, the only son of the richest man in his county so as to afford a surgeon for his lover’s father. Unfortunately, the elder still couldn’t make it.

The day Kyuhyun came back, Hyukjae had had a three-year-old daughter with Siwon.

The moment Kyuhyun looked at Hyukjae with hurt and hatred as he thought he had been betrayed, Hyukjae realized that his heart which was thought to be dead hadn’t been so, because it had just broken into pieces.

Now that Kyuhyun knelt in front of Hyukjae’s grave begging for forgiveness, it was already too late.
