Kyungsoo got up after giving Minseok the two water skins and his eyes fell on Baekhyun who had a betrayed look in his eyes. He watched as the other turned around to go back to work. The rest of the dwarfs checking on Minseok also dispersed, except for Chanyeol and Jongdae. Kyungsoo kept staring at Baekhyun's retreating back when he felt Chanyeol inconspicuously nudge the back of his ankle with his foot. It helped Kyungsoo come back to reality and he ran after Baekhyun.

"Baekhyun!" The other ignored him.

"Baekhyun, how is the day's work going?" Still no response. If anything, the other seemed to be walking away even faster.

"I found this beautiful diamond today and I know how much you like diamonds. I was planning on shaping it and giving it to you. As a gift..."

The other kept walking, and now they were out of everyone's view. Baekhyun kept walking, probably going to the deepest part which was much lower than the level the others were currently at.

Kyungsoo suddenly remembered a promise he had made that morning, though under unfair circumstances.

"Baekkie, you're waking too fast. I can't keep up with you. Won't you wait for me Baek?"

This seemd to work as the other stopped dead in his tracks. Kyungsoo smiled, finally, and rushed to Baekhyun.

The other looked at him with slightly sad, drooping eyes, lower lip jutting out ever so slightly, as if to keep himself from making any embarrassing sad choking sounds. Looking at him sad made Kyungsoo hurt. He slowly slid his hand into the other's and started walking with him, swinging the connected hands.

"...Are you upset that I gave your lemonade to Minseok without asking?"

"..."

"I am sorry, I should have asked. It's just that he was feeling sick and you know that lemonade helps. I will make more next time onwards, hmmm? And I won't give your stuff away without asking. Will you forgive me?"

Baekhyun just kept walking looking at his feet.
