Tao woke up that morning and went out to do his martial arts training. By the time he came back, the palace seemed to be in mayhem. He coolly strolled in between all the rushing people. To freak out in stressful situations decreases the likelihood of survival, and Tao was a master at it. He made his way to his room when a maid came and handed him a letter. Tao read its contents and thought that he should bid Suho goodbye. With these thoughts in mind he made his way to the stables.

It was on his way that he saw him...the prince was draped in the shawl of his maid. Although Tao had not seen him in such a long time, he recognized MInseok at once. The features were still the same, the angelic face, however, was marred with worry this time. It was understandable regarding the situation at hand. Tao followed the prince out and saw him get into a carriage. He didn't bother going to the prince immediately since Suho was leaving at once.

Tao went around to the front of the stable where Suho was standing with his group of soldiers and advisers, looking visibly pale. Tao walked to him and started talking to him, "So you let Minseok know what he has to do?"

"Yes. I left him a note explaining everything in detail." Suho answered

Tao nodded, "Very well, we will leave soon then. How are you doing?"

Suho answered with a sigh, "Truthfully, I'm not doing too well! It would have been so much better if Kris was here with me. This is so overwhelming. What if something happens to me? There is no one to run the kingdom; Minseok is too young." Suho ruffled his hair in frustation. "I have sought help from my cousin, King of the kingdom of Inspirit, King Sunggyu. He is very accomplished so he is a good support to have during this time. Prince Myungsoo will be watching over the affairs in my absence. And in the chance that I don't return, I request that you look after Minseok until he can rule the land himself."

Tao started tearing up, how sweet and loving. "I give you my word. I will keep him safe." Tao said while slightly weeping.

Suho chuckled, this was why he liked Tao. Tao managed to relax him with his over the top expression of emotion and kind heart. It seemed like kind hearted people had surrounded themselves with other kind hearted people, and he was the only exception in Kris' life.
