Kyungsoo's POV

I removed my forehead and hands from the door and prayed that the song worked.

After a second, I heard the door creak open. Eunji sheepishly stepped out the door, her eyes locked on the hardwood floor.

She was holding a pink umbrella in her hand...For protection?

"How do you know that song?" She mumbled.

I gave her a half smile and replied,
"You weren't the only one that knew your mom..."

"What do you mean?"

"Your mom used to tutor me, don't you remember me?"

Eunji scrunched up her face in thought, a surprised look formed on her face.

"You remember me now?" I asked hopefully.

She looked away and stuttered,
"N-no! No I don't"

I felt like a deflated balloon.

"You don't trust me, don't you..."

"Yea. I don't."

"But can you give me a chance to let you trust me?"

Eunji seemed to hesitate,
"I. will. give. you. one. chance."

I gave her my award-winning heart-shaped smile.

"Okay..."

Eunji's POV

I told Naeun to meet me at the Mall today (I'm suspended for a week) , and allowed Kyungsoo to walk me there.

"Stay one meter away from me."
I don't quite trust him yet.

I'll keep him around, maybe he knows why my mom was shot.

He nodded and gave me that annoying heart smile.

As we walked I studied his face.

Do Kyungsoo, heart-smile petite, pocket sized flower boy of my childhood.

Of course I remembered him...But I didn't say so, Because I didn't want him to act like long-time friends.

Kyungsoo suddenly looked at me, a peculiar expression on his face.

"Hey, um Eunji?"

"What!?"

"There is a June bug on your arm..."

"Agh!"

There is one thing I hate as much as men, bugs.

All at once, I jumped wrapped my arms around the nearest person, 
And screamed as if my lungs were getting ripped off.

"Its gone now..."

I slowly looked up and saw Kyungsoo's face looking down at me, obviously amused at my actions.

I quickly pulled away and instinctively punched his arm.

"Ow! What did I do?"

I adverted my eyes to the ground, and unconsciously started to think about hugging Kyungsoo.

His arms were warm... So this is how hugging a guy feel-

"NO! What am I thinking?!" 
I punched his arm again.

"Ow... what now?"

"That was for being a guy and hugging me."

"But I-"

I gave him a glare and he stopped talking.

Soon we reached the Mall.

Naeun was already there, scrolling through her phone. She looked up and saw me.

"Hey Eun-Eun-Eunji..."
Naeun's words faltered.
"Don't look now but...There is a guy behind you!" Naeun whispered.

I sighed and rolled my eyes, 
"Yeah, I know."

I motioned Kyungsoo to come over.

"Kyungsoo this is Naeun, Naeun this is Kyungsoo."

Naeun's eyes glazed over as Kyungsoo shot her a bright smile.

"Wow Eunji, you found yourself a flower boy..." She whispered in awe.

I scoffed, "flower boy my ! Kyungsoo you can leave now."

"Eunji, I thought you hated men!"

"I do!"

"Then explain Mr.Flower boy."

I took a big breath and let out a long string of words.

"I'm only keeping him around because he knew my mom and maybe he knows why she was shot!"

"Pffft...okay, sure."

"But I'm only giving him one chance.”
