I gave a helpless look at Ms. Lee,

"Go on, Try talking to her Kyungsoo."

I suddenly had an idea, a confident smile crept up my face, and I headed towards Eunji's room.

When I reached Eunji's door, I placed my palms and forehead on the door and started to sing.

Times may be harsh,

People will fall and grow wicked

"Never!" I dashed into my room and locked the door.

I started to panic, I threw my books on the floor and my pencils everywhere.

I shakily sat, back against the door, and wept.

Suddenly, In between my gasps for air, I heard a familiar melody.

Times may be harsh,

People will fall and grow wicked

But when I'm with you...The world seems harmless

I gasped when I realized what the song was. The song was a something my real mother sang to me every night before she was murdered.

I stood up and pressed my ear to the door, my tears slowly fading away.
