Moon Hyemi (YOU): You are naturally a very bright, outgoing person but Taemin’s disappearance has shaken you up a bit. You guys have been dating for close to a year now and you consider him as your first love; little do you know that an even greater love is in store for you. Your parents own Miss Enterprises. Junior.

Kim Jongin / Kai: Tall, dark, handsome, and HOT. Not to mention he has that rough bad boy thing going on. Dad left him when he was young, mom is institutionalized with schizophrenia. Has a rough past, and because of this he has major trust issues but he strangely trusts you. Junior.

Lee Taemin: The school’s Golden Boy. Dashing looks, charming smile, and is just basically any girl’s perfect man. But don’t let that pretty face fool you. He keeps his emotions hidden away better than you think. In comparison to Jongin, who is more of a sweatshirt and ripped jeans type of guy, Taemin loves a well ironed shirt and likes sporting his signature loafers. His parents own Shinee Electronics. Senior.

Jackson Wang: y. And wild. Your best friend for life, he never fails to make you smile and laugh with his mischievous and impulsive ways. They seem to do you some good though, since he’s a master at code-breaking and all things investigative. Moved to Korea from Hong Kong via his parents’ business relations. Makes all the girls swoon with his charm and can be quite sassy. His parents own Got7 Company. Junior.

Introduction

Vanished

            I remember it was a late September morning.

            My mother came into my room as I was getting ready for school, which was odd to begin with since she never does. “Hyemi,” she said. “Your boyfriend has gone missing.”

            My hand froze, the cat-eye on my eyelid only half way finished. I laughed. “Mom. You’re kidding, right?”

            She shook her head. “He’s been missing since last night.”

            I suddenly had a horrible feeling in my stomach, the twisting and turning you feel when you don’t want to accept a fact that is horribly true. “This isn’t real right?” I asked, wanting to smile. I even blinked, thinking this was a dream I could escape from. “Taemin was just talking to me last night, he can’t be gone.”

            I went to school in a daze, still unable to process what my mother had told me. I wouldn’t even allow myself to believe it until I saw it with my own eyes, walking into his room and realizing that he was gone. I made a mental note to check up on Taemin’s house after school, because in my mind there was no way he could just suddenly be gone.

I went to first period partially expecting to see him there, to have him smile brightly at me and go, “Gotcha!” with that charming smile of his.  He would be there in sitting in his seat by the window, right next to me.

When I walked into the classroom, my eyes immediately went to his seat by the window. But he wasn’t there.

            I still had hope. I sat down in my seat next to his and waited. When class started and Ms. Choi came into the room to teach, it was still there. However, trailing along behind her was someone unfamiliar.

“Everyone, we have a new student in our class,” she said.

           The new student walked in wearing a black beanie. Even then, at first sight, there was an odd aura about him. Something dark and intriguing, but magnetic.

            “No hats in the classroom please,” Ms. Choi chastised.

            The new kid seemed annoyed that he had to take his beanie off and reluctantly slipped it off his head.

            My eyes widened.

            “Taemin?” I’d said it aloud, without even thinking.

            The class looked at me weirdly, although I knew they saw it too. The new kid gave me a weird look.

            “No, it’s not Taemin,” Ms. Choi slowly said. She gestured toward the new kid. “This is Kim Jongin.”

            Kim Jongin?

            “Actually,” the new kid said, “I go by Kai. Just Kai.”

This story is currently TBA since I'm still working on it. I wasn't going to post it due to school and whatnot but I was just so excited that I just had to! Hope you guys liked the little intro :)

UPDATE 4/2/16: I have decided to re-edit some parts of this story (not much, but make Kai's perspectives more obscure since I like to have him revolve around mystery rather than truth). Nothing much will change, I promise :)
