VII.

The four of them rode Yul's car silently. With Jessica in the front seat that leaves Krystal and Taeyeon at the back. Little did Jessica know that Taeyeon is being so nervous at the moment. He keeps fiddling his fingers while glancing at Krystal whose at the moment is keeping a straight face.

The ride on the way home was fine with Jessica asking the two of them how was school and stuffs like that. When they arrived at home Jessica introduced Taeyeon to their parents.

"Mom this is my friend in college. Remember the one I always told you that helped me a lot in my classes?" She said to her mom while dragging Taeyeon

"Oh it's nice to meet you Taeyeon right?" Mrs. Jung shook his hand

"Neh. Nice to meet you Madam." He bowed

Just in time their father got down and greeted them. They introduced Taeyeon to Mr. Jung and he seem to like the teacher.

Meanwhile Krystal was all silent  the whole time watching them interact, she feels out of place all of a sudden. She was definitely surprised to know that her sister and her boyfriend knows each other already.

"Let's have dinner first. Yul, Taeyeon come on let's eat." Mrs. Jung called for them when she finished preparing the table "Krystal honey! I could use a helping hand here."

"Okay Mom."

Krystal helped her Mom while the visitors take their seats. Jessica was still talking to Taeyeon and Yul and her father about their experiences in college. Mrs. Jung was smiling while hearing the story of her daughter.

Taeyeon sat opposite of Krystal besides Yul who was seating infront of Jessica. While Mr. And Mrs. Jung sat at both corners facing each other.

"Krys did you like my surprise?" Jessica asked her sister who was silently eating her food.

Krystal looked at her and smiled "Yeah. You really did surprised me." She said not forgetting to glance at Taeyeon

"I miss you so much Krys! We got a lot of catching up to do." Jessica giggled while continuing with her food

"Jess what are your plans honey?" Mrs. Jung asked her daughter

"Yul and I decided to stay here for a while Mom." She said while looking lovingly at her boyfriend then to her Mom

"That's a great idea!"

"And Auntie I think I'll start my firm in here so Jessica wouldn't be away from you." Yul said politely

"That's really a great plan Yul." Mr. Jung nodded 

They continued chatting with all the stuffs "older" people are interested in. Krystal was praying in her mind that this dinner would end soon.

Taeyeon's POV

After we ate dinner Jessica asked me if we could talk outside. "Is it okay Tae?"

 I suddenly got nervous when she asked that. Is she just acting like this since we met? Does she know about my relationship with her sister? Oh my gahhh! What will she say to me?

"Yeah sure." I answered cooly

"How are you Tae? Seriously?" She started

I sighed. Oh I get it. It's not about Krystal. "I guess I'm fine?" I answered

She looked at me with disbelief "You disappeared the same time Tiffany did. I thought you two run away or something. What really happened?" With the mention of that name I suddenly felt nostalgic. Wait. Why?

"Did you follow her?"

I shook my head and I started to remember that day.

"I'm sorry Taeyeon but I have to leave you."
