XIV.

The Day

“Taeng where are you up to anyways?” Sooyoung asked him while they were eating at a fast-food shop. (well it’s only Sooyoung eating)

“I’m just gonna take my girlfriend downtown at the beach.” Taeyeon grinned while he took a sip on his drink

“I’d like to meet this girlfriend of yours Taeng. You’ve been borrowing my car and you haven’t even introduced her to me properly.” He whined then munch on the burger “Is shwe.. wugly? Or mwe..rried?”

“YAH! She’s pretty! Don’t say such things!”

“Then why don’t you introduce her to me?”

“I think it’s not the right time yet but I promise Soo that I’ll tell you soon.” Taeyeon smiled

“Okay be careful with my car alright! I’ll be using that to pick Sunny from the airport!” he grinned

“Yeah I will!”

Soo then handed the keys to Taeyeon, he thanked him for it and they continued on eating.. (well more of Sooyoung continued on eating)

“Bye Soo! Thanks again buddy!” Taeyeon said while he rolled down the window.

“Yeah bud! Have fun with your date!” He shouted

Taeyeon honked for the last time then drove away from Sooyoung’s house. He texted Krystal that he’s on the way to pick her up.

“Where are you going Krys?” Jessica asked when she saw Krystal tying up her shoe

“Uh. I just need to go to Sulli’s house unnie.” Krystal answered not looking at her

“Oh school stuffs?”

“Yeah.”

“You told Dad that about this?”

“Yeah.” Krystal finally finished and got up she looked at her sister and smiled. “How do I look unnie?”

Jessica quirked a brow then smiled “Well…” she tapped her chin “You look pretty.”

“He-he thanks unnie.”

“You’re just going to Sulli’s but it seems that you’re overdressed.”

“Uh..ha.” Krystal stuttered

“Are you going on a date?”

“Wa..what? No! Of course not! I’m just going to Sulli’s house! It’s not a date!” Krystal defended while shaking her head

Jessica smiled “Okay then..have fun sis.”

“Th..thanks unnie.”

Jessica watched as Krystal walked out from the house. She even waved at her before closing the front door.

“Tae I’m already here.” Krystal said from the phone

“Yeah..yeah just a minute babe. I got stuck in traffic.”

“Okay take care.”

“Yeah.”

Krystal hanged up the call and continued on what she was doing earlier (reading a book). She was seated on the far corner of the coffee shop that she and Taeyeon used to hang-out before. It’s a small shop but a really cozy one.

After 5 more minutes the door swung open and there she saw the fine young man entered the store. The guy immediately spotted her and smiled.

“Sorry I’m late.” Taeyeon apologized

“It’s fine.”

“Can we go now?”

“Yeah sure.”

“Whose car is this?” Krystal asked when they both got inside

“He-he it’s Sooyoung’s.” Taeyeon answered

“Oh is he your friend who owns a bakery?”

“Yeah that’s him.”

“He’s really nice Tae.”

“Yes he is.. he told me that he’d like to meet you though.” Taeyeon chuckled

“Why?”

“Well I told him that I got a girlfriend already but I didn’t tell him your name and that you’re my student. Maybe he got curious why I kept it a secret.”

“Hmmm I’d like to meet him babe.” Krystal smiled at Taeyeon

“Really?” Taeyeon asked with full of excitement “Ahhh that’ll be great baby! Sooyoung would be so happy!”

“I think your friend could keep a secret right?”

“Yeah.”

“Ahh babe?” Taeyeon started again.. Krystal was drinking water

“Hmmm?” she looked at him

“Jessica asked me if you have someone that you’re dating.” Krystal almost choked

“Wa..what?” she asked

“She asked me if you‘re dating someone from school.”

“What did you say?” Krystal was shocked

“Of course I lied!”

“Aghh . I think she’s getting suspicious.”

“Do you think we should tell her already?” Taeyeon slowed down then looked at her

“Focus on driving.” She sighed “I don’t know.. should we tell her?”

“It’s up to you baby.” Taeyeon took her hands and gently squeezed it

“I don’t think I’m ready yet.” She sounded sad

“Let’s just enjoy this day first baby and we’ll think about this okay?”

“Okay.” Krystal smiled

“Love you.” Taeyeon kissed her hand

“I Love you too.”

Krystal fell asleep on their way. Taeyeon brought her to the beach. When they arrived Taeyeon couldn’t help but smile at the view he’s seeing.

Wow this place is so beautiful.

He looked at his side and smiled when he saw Krystal’s serene state. But you’re more than beautiful Soojung. He chuckled at himself and unbuckled his seatbelt. He slowly nudged Krystal.

“Baby we’re here.”

“Hmm.”

“Wake up now.” he her hair softly

Krystal slowly opened her eyes and smiled. Taeyeon’s face was the first thing she saw. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pecked on his lips.

“Come on sleepyhead.” Taeyeon grinned then unbuckled her girlfriend’s seatbelt

Krystal was in awe when she saw the view infront of her. It was breathtakingly beautiful. Krystal has been always fond of the sea. She really loves it.
