Narrator's POV

"umma!" Nathan cried blindly running over to her as he, Chaerin, and Luke reached the hospital. Mark took Luke from Chaerin and carried the baby in his arms

"how is she?" Chaerin asked

"she'll be fine" Mark said simply "we can probably go back home in 2 weeks time"

"that's good" she said watching as her mother and younger brother emotionally reunited "you must be tired appa, did you sleep at all?"

"ani, I was watching over your umma and oppa" he shook his said

"appa, cha" Chaerin said taking back Luke "you're sleep deprived"

"arasso" Mark said heading for the couch "wake me up if they need me"

Like Mark said, the Tuan family stayed in Korea for two weeks. Chaerin resumed her schooling, bonding with her family before and after school hours. Jooyoung eventually found out what happened and tried to apologize to the girl every chance he could, but being strongwilled, stubborn, and a little brat at heart, she ignored him. By the time the Tuans left, Chaerin and Jooyoung still haven't reconciled and here the girl was, spending a little 'movie date' with Jungho at her suite. They both were wearing something pretty casual

"what's this movie about again?" Jungho asked as he tried to read the Korean subtitles

"a halmeoni gets turned back to 20 years old and yeah" she said focused on the movie. They were watching in comfortable silence, their hands secretly intertwined, until Jungho's phone rang.

"mian" he said as he answered it "yeobosayo?"

"uri adeul" his mother said "eodiya?"

"I'm watching a movie with Chaerin" Jungho said "waeyo umma?"

"it's Yurin" she sighed "she had a nightmare and only wants to talk to you"

"Yurinnie had a nightmare?" Jungho asked and his mother made a hum of agreement "I'll be home as soon as I can"

"you don't have to break your date with-"

"keuneo umma" he cut her off hanging up the phone. He turned to Chaerin apologetically "I'm sorry Chaerin-ah, but Yurin-"

"gwenchana" she said "ka, say hi to Yurin for me"

The boy stood up and quickly gathered his things before hastily exiting the girl's suite. Before he left, Chaerin caught the look of worry in his eyes. She paused the movie and the lights, cleaning up their mess, and plopping on her bed. Chaerin got her phone and called up Jasmine

"hello? Cherry! your family's all the talk right now, are you okay?!" the girl said worriedly

"I'm fine Cher, so is Jason and my mom, but I called for something else" Chaerin said "are the other girls with you?"

"for sure, all day everyday Cher" Tara said in the background

"what did you want to tell us?" Angela asked

"it's official. I've made the decision" Chaerin said

"what decision?" Tara asked, a bit confused. Angela hit the back of her head

"you're so stupid!" Angela shouted

"so you're set on J? for sure?" Jasmine said

Chaerin nodded "for sure"

The three girls screamed on the phone at once "tell us everything! how'd you decide?!"

"okay okay, please shut up" Chaerin laughed "well we were watching a movie right? we hung out at my place, and then his mom called and apparently his sister had a bad dream and she only wanted him so he basically dropped everything and left"

"um, how was that..-"

"you don't get it" Chaerin chuckled "it's just. The way his eyes were when he found out that his sister was in trouble, they were just so caring and it was so cute and...I don't know, shut up! I made a decision already!"

"we were just curious!" Angela said "but aw! we're so proud of you Cher!"

"does this mean a new official bae in our squad?" Tara asked

"you bet, " Jasmine said "wait, what's his actual name?"

"Jungho, Jeon Jungho - or Jungho Jeon for you guys" Chaerin said "like, Jung...hoe"

"Jung hoe? Jung hoeee!" the three sang

"well okay, that's nice girls. I'm gonna go" Chaerin said "much love best friends, I'll talk to you soon"

"bye Cherry!"

The next day at school went by fast, and before they knew it, it was transition to 9th period - dance. As usual, Chaerin and Taehyun were walking to class together, casually joking around and talking. By now, he knew about her definite decision on Jungho and being the good friend he was, he supported her 100%.

"hey" Taehyun said as they turned the corridor "have you still not talked to Jooyoung?"

"ani" Chaerin shook her head

"don't you miss him?" Taehyun asked

"I miss him tons, but I refuse to talk to him" she said "he'll only yell at me when he finds out that I decided on Jungho and I frankly don't need his bull. I like who I want to, I date who I want to, I don't care if Jungho was a jackass before, he's really changed and I know his priorities"

"well amen" Taehyun said "don't get all salty, we're just about to start class"

The past few weeks, both the dance and vocal classes were informed of a school competition which they had to participate in. Chaerin and Jungho were partnered together, no doubt about it. The two of them practiced hardcore for this competition and in fact, today was actually a big day since it was the day of the competition, which would take place after school. They decided to do a rendition of Hyorin and Jooyoung's 'Erase'

"hey" Jungho said after class "sorry for leaving you yesterday"

"it's fine, really" she said and smiled looking around "yah"

"what're you looking for?" he asked, too turning his head. She smiled and pecked his lips

"neo, nae namchin" Chaerin said putting a hand on her hip "chincha"

He tilted his head, before a smile spread on his face "jamkkamman, are you serious?"

She nodded and s her arms around his neck "wae? any objections?"

"aniyo, none" he shook his head and pecked her cheek. "so...how are you gonna break it to Daeyong and Jooyoung?"

"please don't spoil the mood" she scowled at him lightly pushing the boy away

"arasso arasso, mianhe" Jungho chuckled pulling her back in for a hug

"hey, if you two lovebirds are done, I'm sorta hungry and Chae said she was gonna drive me for food" Taehyun knocked on the door. The two separated and went out with Taehyun and Mei to go eat

"Chanmi-neun eodi?" Chaerin asked as they were waiting for food

"out with Jaeyeol and Jooyoung" Taehyun said. Chaerin nodded and paid attention to her phone "yah Chae-ah"

"hm?" she looked up at him

"do you think you'll ever talk to Jooyoung?" he asked

"yah Byun Taehyun" Jungho glared at him

"ani gwenchana" Chaerin said "and to answer your question, I mean...I'll have to won't I? we're godsiblings, our dads are basically brothers. I will but I don't know, I'm not ready yet I guess"

"do you want to?" Taehyun asked

"didn't we already go over this?" Chaerin asked him "yes I want to, yes I miss him, but I won't talk to him if he doesn't accept me and Jungho"

"I don't really like being the determining factor between you and Jooyoung" Jungho said putting a hand on her knee "I know me and him aren't on the best terms either, he hates my guts, but I'm willing to open up to him for you"

"aww chincha?" she asked

"that's really cute, but you guys are sorta gross and make me want to throw up" Taehyun said

"shut up Byun Taehyun" Jungho chuckled hitting his head

"yah! michin neom-ah! I'm driving for 's sakes" he shouted

"you know, I appreciate that you don't hate Jungho anymore Taehyun-ah" Chaerin said

"of course, I've opened up Chae-ah" Taehyun said "hey, can I be there when you reject Daeyong?"

"wae?" she crossed her arms

"I want to snapchat it" Taehyun said

"you rude " she said hitting him too

"again! I'm driving!" he complained at them
