"-did you hear? Jungho and Chaerin are dating"
"omo chincha? since when?"
"this " Ahreum stood up, pounding her fists on the table in the process. "Chaerin Tuan eodiseo?!"

"this is calling for trouble Rinnie" Jooyoung said leaning against a nearby locker
"so much trouble" Mei agreed "Chaerin, what if someone finds out that you and Jungho aren't really dating?"
"they won't find out. Only you guys know" Chaerin said closing her locker
"I have no idea what you guys said" Taehyun said
"I'll tell you guys at the spot" Mei said
"are you gonna come with us to the quad?" Chanmi asked
"later, I need to text something to Jaebum samchun" Chaerin said
"we'll save you lunch then" Jaeyeol said and she nodded watching them leave. Chaerin took out her phone. She hummed and began texting JB, only to get her phone knocked out of her hand
"what the -"
"shut up" Ahreum hissed as she pushed Chaerin against the locker. The Queenka glared daggers at Chaerin as the KAT girl (A/N KAT = Korean-American-Taiwanese lol I just made it up) stared at her.
"what's your problem?" Chaerin looked at her disgustingly
"you're my problem" Ahreum growled
"oh I'm the Queenka's problem, I'm honored" she mocked. Ahreum spat at her and raised her hand to slap Chaerin when someone grabbed Ahreum's wrist
"J-Jungho-ya" Ahreum stuttered looking up at the glaring boy "th-this isn't what it looks like!"
"yeah of course it's not, I'm totally not seeing a trying to slap my girlfriend" Jungho scoffed separating the two
"I can handle things myself, Jungho" Chaerin said as he took her hand
"kamaniseo" he muttered quietly picking up her phone "I better not see this again, Han Ahreum"
"aniya Jungho-ya, it's not what you think it is!" Ahreum tried to explain "I was just talking to Chaerin! honest!"
"if that's your honesty, then I wonder what your lies are" Jungho rolled his eyes dragging Chaerin away
"let go" Chaerin said once they reached the all-familiar practice room.
"I was kinda hoping for a thank you" he said taking off his uniform jacket "when we're at school, if you want Daniel - and the whole student body to buy this whole dating thing between you and me, then you better act like it"
"yah, what are you doing?" she hissed as he backed her up against the door. His eyes flickered up for a moment before he moved his face mere millimeters away from hers. He closed his eyes "yah Jeon Jungh-"
"Daniel's behind the door" he whispered. She took the hint and s her arms around his neck. He smirked "are you wearing perfume?"
"wae? a girl can't wear perfume?" she remarked
"girls only wear perfume when they try to impress a guy" he said "are you trying to impress me Chaerin?"
"over my dead body" Chaerin gritted her teeth. She was about to open again when she felt the door behind her open "oh !"
"yah, watch it" Jungho said instinctively grabbing her waist
"are you two seriously dating?" Daniel crossed his arms
"do you want me to prove it?" Chaerin glared taking Jungho's face in her hands and pressing a real kiss onto his lips. "as if you didn't already interrupt something, I would say I'm glad to give you a show, but frankly I'm not"
"yah-"
"naka, Jungho and I are busy" she said pushing him out before locking the door
"well isn't someone on her period?" he said
"please, I'm only on my period when I see his face" Chaerin scoffed "that little jackass just makes me so angry"
"I can tell" Jungho snorted "so come on, we need a dance to choreograph, what does saem want this time?"
"aw , she wants a y concept" Chaerin said "eoteokkhae? I can't be y"
"it's not hard" he scoffed "can you do a wave?"
"well duh" she said
"then you have the basics down" Jungho said "I'll teach you by Friday how to y dance if you really can't do it. Can you...what was it called..they used to do it back in the days...twerk?"
"you're asking a girl who came from Cali, if she knows how to twerk" Chaerin scoffed "that's like asking a Korean if they eat kimchi"
"okay, point taken" Jungho said "maybe we could use that in our routine"
"yeah alright, but saem said that this dance will cost more than the other weekly dances, that brain of yours better be good this week" she said
"it's always good" he said matter-of-factly "come on and stretch, I might have a song in mind"

"-yah! you ditched us!" Jaeyeol complained as the crew met up by Chaerin's locker after school
"is this like our official spot?" she asked
"sort of" Mei shrugged "now why did you ditch us?!"
"mianhe, something came up and I was with Jungho" she said
"of course, boyfriend beats family" Jooyoung pouted. She scoffed and hit his head with a binder
"are you sure you're not actually starting to like him are you?" Mei asked
"no, he's just my safe base when Daniel's there" Chaerin said
"again with the Chinese" Chanmi said "hajima~"
"mianhe" Chaerin smiled and linked arms with her "kaja, my house?"
"assa!" Taehyun shouted grabbing Mei's wrist and dragging her to the lobby
"so...how is being the kingka's girlfriend?" Chanmi asked "is he nice?"
"mm, he's great" Chaerin said, a little bit forced
"of course I'm great" Jungho said walking up to them
"do you mind getting lost?" Jooyoung glared at him
"do you mind ing off?" Jungho mimicked
"culmanhae" Chaerin said and stared at Jungho "wae?"
"Yurin wants to see you" Jungho said "she's been dying wanting to see you again"
"chincha?" Chaerin smiled "aw kiyeowa"
"who's Yurin?" Jaeyeol asked
"my yeodongsaeng" Jungho said curtly "she really wants to see you, Chaerin"
"yah, you reserved today for us" Chanmi whined
"I-I know, b-but..." Chaerin said looking between her friends and Jungho. Almost miraculously, her phone rang "y-yeobosayo? oh! appa!"
"uri ttal, appa-neun mianhe. I haven't called in a while" he said
"ah gwenchana appa" she smiled and excused herself
"have you seen Daniel?" Mark asked
"d-deh" Chaerin nodded
"yah, he told his appa that you're dating someone. Nugu?" Mark asked "yah Chaerin Tuan, if you're dating someone-"
"appa...h-he's first in his class, son of Jeon Jungkook. He's well-liked and extremely talented. Jeon Jungho." Chaerin quickly explained
"oh...in that case, you're in good hands" Mark said
"appa" Chaerin laughed
"but what about Daniel, have you ever considered-"
"aniyo, never" she answered quickly "appa, I have to go-"
"jamkamman, there's...something I need to tell you" he said
"bwoh?" she asked
"it's about your brother" Mark said
"which one?" Chaerin chuckled
"Jason" he said nervously
"what about oppa?" she asked
"Jason...isn't my son" Mark said "he's your half-brother"
"b-bwoh?" Chaerin asked "appa, stop joking. It's not April Fools"
"I'm not kidding" he said seriously "today, your oppa found out about his real dad"
"appa. Culmanhae" she said
"he's not joking, Chaerin-ah" Subin said into the phone "Jason biologically isn't your appa's son, but he is mine. He's your half-brother"
"umma, then where's oppa's real dad?" she asked "umma, how'd he find out?"
"I had to tell him. He was doing an ancestry project in university and I couldn't keep it anymore" umma said "Chaerin-ah, go home and we'll explain to you over hollagram. Your samchuns are already on their way"
"deh umma" Chaerin nodded "keuneo"
"is something wrong?" Jooyoung asked looking at her long expression when she returned
"huh? oh. I just have something important to do" she said "mian, we'll hang out another time guys. And Jungho, tell Yurin that I'm sorry, it's really urgent"

"aniya, don't worry about it" Chaerin shook her head "I'll head home first"
