~Your POV~

Now that the new year is here, it's back to school. But it's still winter though. I had to wear my jacket to school. I'm also entering the second year in school. That means new class, new text books, new club to join and new teachers. I left the house and went to the elevator. As I got inside, I saw Yesung standing beside me. We exchange glances but we didn't smile. I quickly turn my face around.

Yesung: Uh....good morning.

You: Good morning. 

Yesung: Going back to school?

You: Ne. How about you?

Yesung: I'm going to the gym for my morning workout.

(elevator stops)

Yesung: Well, this is my stop now. Good bye.

I didn't managed to say good bye as the door began to close. I was relief when Yesung got off the elevator. The atmosphere was really awkward. Also, we didn't speak much. I guess he still remembers the incident last Christmas, where I reject his confession. I walk into the school compound with a sulky face. I didn't notice Kyuhyun was walking beside me.

Kyuhyun: Good morning.

You: Sigh! good morning.

Kyuhyun: You don't look happy this morning. What's the matter?

You:............

Kyuhyun: It's alright. You can tell me. Maybe I can help.

You: It's about Yesung. He was upset about the incident last Christmas.

Kyuhyun: Let's talk inside. I'm freezing out here. 

We got inside the building to change our shoes. I told Kyuhyun everything that has happened, from how Yesung confessed to me and I rejected his confession.

You:.......then, I told him I'm not ready to be in a relationship. Sigh! After that incident, we were too awkward to make a conversation.

Kyuhyun: Just give him some time to forget about that rejection. After a few days, he should be cooled down. Then you can go and sort things out with him. Who knows he will talk to you again.

You: Yeah. Maybe you're right. I'll just give him a few days. Once I'm ready, I will go and talk to him.

Kyuhyun: Cheer up, okay? Things will turn out alright eventually. And it's not your fault that you rejected him because it is your own choice.

You: Gomawo.

Kyuhyun: Anytime. 

I'm beginning to feel much better after Kyuhyun's words of advice and encouragement. We went to the board to check the list to see which classroom we're placed in. To my tough luck, I'm separated from
