It was a rather awkward yet cold night as you and Jongin were sitting side by side while having some ice creams instead of a proper dinner. Or, you could say, he was the one who keep on stabbing the ice cream with the pink plastic spoon.

That was the last thing you said to him before everything gone awkward. Nothing came out from both of your and Jongin’s lips, it was a dead silent. But still, you enjoyed his presence so much you could choke him with your arms around his neck in a second. I need to break this ugly fugly atmosphere. You thought while glancing at him back and forth.

You took a deep breath and fake a rather awkward cough as you turned your body sideway, facing him, who was still busy with his ice cream. Jongin is beautiful, even his jawline looks so tempting, everything about him are perfect. You thought while chewing on your lower lips.

“Well.. Um..”

Jongin finally managed to emptied his last cup as he his plump lower lips, he put the empty cup aside along with the other cups before he crossed his arms close to his chest, leaning his back against the bench that both of you were sitting on. “Yeah?”

“..You sure eat a lot but you’re still in a good shape. Are you on diet or something?” Nice one. You mentally laughed at yourself. Seriously? Seriously.

It took seconds for Jongin to answer your silly- no, scratch that, your awfully stupid question.  “I do.” He simply answered, “When I get stressed, I eat a lot.”

He stared at your awkward wide-smile afterwards. Considering that he was the one who got in trouble, he didn’t show that much emotion in his eyes. Those eyes that used to stare at you lovingly, the face that used to shine brightly everytime both of you were together.

Heaven please kill me before I fall for him over and over again. “I see.” A small smile flashed across your face as the soft breeze hit your body.

Another moment of silent slipped through you and Jongin. This time, he was the one who decided to wiped off the fugly atmosphere, he crossed his leg on the other one while heaving a long and tired sigh, “So, you’re saying that you’re an angel who’s supposed to take a good care of me. Therefore you must’ve known what should or at least what will I do then?” He never sound so intimidating in your second life until now, you were kind of taken back by what he just said. It took seconds to processed his question in your mind. “Well.. Yeah, I kind of know-“

“What happened to me?” He asked again, “Did I give up on the company? Or did I give up on my dream?” He shot another question without even waiting for you to answer the first one.
