After the constant pestering and teasing, you and Luhan finally left. Once you walked out you hit Luhan across the head, causing him to hold it in pain. 
"What was that for?!" He glared at you.
"That's for being a little and making fun of me when I was a baby!" You sneered. 
"You were so chubby though" Luhan chuckled.
Raising your hand again, you hit him on the arm.
" face! Let's just go!" You yelled. But before you did you gave your mother a tight hug. 

You were now inside the car, enjoying the comfortable silence that lingered between you both. You couldn't help but think back towards the conversation you had with your mother before you had left. 

"Gi Hyun dear" you looked at your mum with a bright smile.
"Yes?" You hummed.
"I really like this Luhan boy. His really good too you and his really sweet"
Your mother grinned.
"Thank you mum" 
"And I want you too know I'm not forcing you too reveal your relationship, but I think it would be nice too"
"I know mum" you felt terrible lying to your mother. You wanted to tell her the truth and set you free from guilt, but you couldn't. You could ruin the twinkle in your mothers eyes. 
"He really loves you honey" you looked at your mum.
"Really?" 
"Don't you see the way he looks at you? I mean he smiles everytime he sees you" your heart began too race.
"And this morning..." Your cheeks began to burn. 
She had too bring up this morning... 
"He really does Gi Hyun. And I'm happy knowing my daughter is in safe hands" your mother smiled.
"Thank mum" you hugged her tightly. 
"Gi Hyu- oh sorry for interrupting omoni" Luhan bowed.
You loosened your hug.
"That's okay dear, I was just saying goodbye to my baby girl" your mother pinched your cheeks.
"Owwww" you whined.
"Oh quit whining" your mother giggled.
"Okay well I'll let you both leave then. Bring it in Luhan" your mum pulled Luhan into a tight embrace. Luhan stood there stunned. He looked at you. You couldn't help but laugh. 
'er' you mouthed.
Luhan stuck out his tongue and returned the hug. Your mother stopped hugging Luhan and stepped away.
"Okay I'll see you guys soon! Take care of my daughter Luhan!" Your mother waved.
"I will!" Luhan exclaimed.
Your mother walked back into the house, leaving you and Luhan alone.
"We should get going" you sighed. 
"Yea" Luhan hummed. 

"Leave your lover leave him for me~" snapping out of you thoughts you turned to Luhan. His melodic voice ringing through your ears.
"Hey" you snapped out of your daydream.
"Mm" you mumbled.
"Do you want to hang out today?" 
You looked at Luhan astonished.
"Wait... Can you say that again?" 
Luhan rolled his eyes.
"I'm not repeating it. Take it or leave it" Luhan muttered.
"Fine. Yes, I mean it's a nice Saturday and it's nice and sunny why not" you giggled.
Luhan smiled at your playful behaviour.

After several minutes of driving you both arrived at namsam.
Staring at the tall tower you smiled.
"I swear this is so beautiful!" You squealed in delight of the view.
Luhan chuckled.
"Come on let's go" 
You both made your way towards the stop of the tower. The nice breeze that hit your skin, the smell of nature that was delightful.
"Luhan look there's a squirrel!" You pointed at the fluffy creature.
"Go and touch it" Luhan pushed you towards it.
"No!" You whined.
"Come on" he insisted.
"No! Don't you dare Luhan!" You yelled.
"It's cute though" he chuckled. 
"Not like you" you snickered.
"That's cause I'm handsome" Luhan winked.
You pretend to throw up.
"Come on let's go!" You laughed.
After what seemed like hours of walking, you finally reached the top. 
"Finally!!!" You yelled.
"Your really unfit" Luhan teased.
"Yea well it's not everyday you walk up a bloody mountain" you rolled your eyes.
"Oh come on!" You grabbed Luhan's hand and dragged him along with you. Stopping in front of a performance you chuckled.
"Look his trying to trick the lady" 
Luhan looked at you and smiled.
After minutes of watching you didn't realise Luhan was not beside you. 
"Luha- wait Luhan?" You looked around for the blonde boy. 
Where the heck is he? Pushing your way through the crowed you finally made it out. There you stopped. Luhan talking to a girl. She looked very feminine. She wore a flow my peach dress. Her wavy brown hair swayed along with the wind. You felt jealous but you could sense the tension between them. 
You decided to gain some courage and go and check on him. 
"Hey Luh- ack!" Luhan was now tightly gripping onto your waist, pulling you closer.
"Is this her?" The girl looked at you with despise.
"Yes this is her. She's my girlfriend" Luhan muttered through clenched teeth. 
You looked at Luhan with shock and confusion. Why was he so mad for?
"Now if you don't mind, we are going up" Luhan grabbed your hand and pulled you along with him.

"Hey Luhan" you mumbled. Luhan stopped and turned around. He softened at the sight of you.
"I'm sorry" he muttered.
"What was that all about?" You asked out of curiosity.
Luhan sighed and walked towards the bench. Sitting down, he gestured for you to sit besides him. Happily doing so, you made yourself comfortable.
"She's my ex" Luhan mumbled. 
"Oh" was all you could say. 
"We used to date back then. I really loved her, but she left me. She promised me, she would stay but she didn't" Luhan spoke full of sorrow.
You turned your gaze away from the concrete and onto Luhan. His furrowed his brows, then stop. You could tell he was having a hard time. You wanted to hug him, tell him everything is okay now, because you would stay beside him. You would never leave him.
But you couldn't. You didn't have the confidence, you didn't have the courage. 
You began to reach your hand out too comfort Luhan.
"But I still love her" Luhan mumbled. 
"I still love her" Luhan sighed sadly at his reality.
You placed your hand back down and stared at him.
"Then tell her" you whispered. Luhan turned around and looked at you.
"Tell her you love her before it's too late" you stared into his brown eyes.
Luhan pulled you into his embrace.
"Thank you Gi Hyun" you sat there shocked. He released you. His warmth now gone.
"I'll meet you back at the dorm! Wish me luck!" Luhan ran off, waving goodbye. You watched his retreating figure disappear. 
"It was never meant to be a reality" you whispered too yourself.
