“Uee, I need to go first. I’ll wait for you at the car park. Don’t be late!” Yubin said before she left.

“Okay! Bye!” Uee replied in half shout.

Uee looked at Yubin for the last time before she packed her things into the bag. She put on her bag, walking to the front of the class. She looked at the car park through the glass window as she was searching for Yubin. Her classmates started to leave the class one by one.

“Uee…” Ji-yong called her, softly. He approached her slowly.

Uee remained in silent as she still searching for Yubin. She knew that Ji-yong was standing behind of her. Maybe, Ji-yong wanted to say something.

“Can you hear me?” He asked.

“Hmm…” She hummed as answer.

“About the kiss…” Ji-yong was being cut off.

“I think we shouldn’t talk about that.”

“Why? I mean, why did you kiss him? Do you like him?”

“Ji-yong…” Uee turned her body around, facing the upset Ji-yong. She released a heavy sigh.

“I want to tell you something.” She paused, staring into his eyes.

“But, just let keep this as a secret. I just want you to know that…” She was being cut off.

“I know what you’re going to say. I know it from the beginning. I can see it clearly in your eyes. You love Taecyeon, right?”

“Then, why did you keep chasing me though you know that I love someone else? Don’t you know that it’s hurt? Now, I felt the same thing too. I’m sorry...” She approached him, giving him a light hug.

“It was because… I thought I can change your heart. Well, since that pabo Taecyeon didn’t realize how precious you are in person. I just want to try my luck. However, it seemed fail, am I right? So, do you want me to give up or keep chasing you?” Ji-yong asked once they released the hug.

“Listen… I don’t want you to be hurt. Loving someone who doesn’t love you back is damn hurt. Ji-yong, you’re my friend. If you hurt, I’m also hurt.”

Ji-yong chuckled, bitterly. He knew that he should give up on her one day. But, he never knows that the day would come so fast.

“So, I should give up?” Ji-yong asked, smiling bitterly.
