Review:

This is such a short fic (not even 400 words!) but it's so powerful. The ending hit me like a punch to the gut. We all know that Yoona's pretty, to put it lightly. SM knows Yoona is pretty. All of Korea knows that Yoona's pretty. Of course, that's far from all there is to Yoona, but how many people know that? I've always had a fascination with visuals and how they perceive themselves. Most people just talk about their looks non-stop, oh you're so beautiful, so handsome, so attractive, and sure it must be flattering...until what point? Do you start to feel like a face more than a person? Pieces like this really shine on the darker side of being a visual.


Except: 

yoona reminds herself that she's not the person they (she doesn't dare name them, it puts a face to the people that could've been fans that now hate her for something she can't control and that hurts more than she'd like to admit) make her out to be, but that doesn't mean she can't hear the sounds of keyboards furiously tapping away as soon as she finds herself the centre of the photoshoot.
