Review:

I really have way too little TaengSic on here, considering how they're my submarine. Well, I really haven't read much TaengSic - something I should amend. This is...not an AU, but not exactly canon verse, where Taeyeon and Jessica are both solo artists with a past that Taeyeon would rather forget. Tiffany has a small role; she makes two cameo appearances, and I adore both of them. This is how I like my TaengSic - with some angst but ultimately a happy ending.


Excerpt:

Maybe the worse thing, Taeyeon thinks, is how even now she doesn’t know why the other girl left – she had always been too mad and too proud to ask, to even have a conversation with Jessica. Although for public purposes they had agreed to cite ‘family reasons’ for Jessica’s departure from SM, Taeyeon knew that wasn’t the truth.

When Jessica had left her eyes had been lifeless, tears were falling relentlessly, and no matter how loud Taeyeon had asked ‘why’ she was met with no answer, and after a tight hug (that Taeyeon didn’t return) Jessica, along with all of her stuff, was gone from Taeyeon’s life.

Only to return on stage singing a powerful ballad – that had secretly blown Taeyeon away – ten months later.
