Review:

Since I just recced an angst fic, I thought I'd do a fluff one this chapter. This is really cute; it's just a sweet, fun, feel-good read. To save money, pizza girl Tiffany moves into lazy student Jessica's apartment. There's no instant attraction or instant enmity, it's a slow, lukewarm start because Jessica's so quiet and socially awkward. It's adorable, really, and so Jessica. I mean, she's often written as cold, sarcastic, even cruel, manipulative, but I think this is a characterization of Jessica that fits her really well and isn't written nearly enough. I mean, let's face it, at the heart of the matter, she's quiet and awkward. That's totally her. And I love what lim does with their relationship here. Domestic and sweet, how I like my JeTi.


Excerpt:

The first time Tiffany realizes she’s falling for Jessica isn’t when the girl is dressed up or making her laugh or during one of those movies they watch together.

It’s when Tiffany walks out to the living room and sees the girl sprawled out on the couch, hair a mess, shirt half-rising, and blanket crookedly falling off of her. It’s when Tiffany makes a quick hot cup of coffee and crosses her legs as she sits on the table, staring at Jessica sleep. It’s when she thinks to herself, “This is Jessica Jung.”
