“10 Minutes left.”
Nicole turned her head to see Kwon Jiyong looking at her with his usual zero expression. She replied him with a slight smile, and the look on his face changed. The girl knew he felt sorry for her that he couldn’t help her. At one point as her guardian, he felt like he failed to help her.
Nicole cocked her head lightly, smiling when she heard him murmured another sorry. It wasn’t like she didn’t make any effort to fight for her life, but maybe fate that brought her here.
Two days ago when she saw Kim Jaejoong pay a visit for her, she felt a glint of hope awakened inside her, and she had another reason to be alive. But maybe fate wanted to bring her to another way.
