Everything was silent. Behind those walls, only two possibilities. Jungkook survived or he didn’t make it. It was hard for Soo Jin to accept the truth, she only wants to believe Jungkook is still alive.

Coming in the door, the doctor’s expression didn’t look too well. “I’ve gone through your sister’s records, it doesn’t seem like anything’s broken so she can be discharged tomorrow.” He explained.

Wiping the tears from her face, Soo Jin looked at the doctor, eyes filled with hope. “Doctor, the boy next door – Jeon Jungkook – how is he?”

Ignoring her question, the doctor called out Jin, “You’re the brother, right? If so, please come with me.”

Jin nodded his head then let go of his tight grasp of Soo Jin’s hand, “I’ll be back, okay?” he said before leaving then planted a light kiss on her forehead.

“I have good news and bad news.” The doctor said, holding tightly onto his clipboard.

“What is it doc?” Jin questioned, hoping that it’s nothing major.

“The good news is, your friend is alive.” He announced making Jin sigh in relief, “But the bad news is, the accident somehow caused him a head trauma so he’ll only have about one or two more weeks.” He paused. “He won’t be discharged for two more days until further notice.”

Jin’s eyes widened. Two weeks? TWO WEEKS?! This cannot be happening. Why does everything fall apart so quickly?
