Bluer Skies and Greener Grass

I was admitted out of the hospital a few days after the incident. Since then, my family and Myungsoo and visited daily, along with Byunghun. 4minute and Teen Top found my room and arrived with flowers on the second day, and even Luhan came to apologize. Yesterday, right after I was admitted, Byunghun walked me home, and went to the basement. He had said that he would take me somewhere important soon. Today was Sunday, meaning that there was no school.

  “C’mon, Eunji. We’re going somewhere important.” Byunghun said to me up the floortile. I nodded. Putting on my coat, I walked out the door and met him at the sidewalk.

  “Where are we going today?” I asked.

  “You’ll see.”

He led us to a park, with trees here and there. I didn’t like it at all, it was too crowded with trees and people.

  “We’re almost there, don’t worry.”

Suddenly, he took off running, and with no other choice, I followed him. Leading the way to a fence, he climbed over it, with me following him. He had led me to a field. One with a few trees here and there.

   “Is this it?” I asked.

   “Yes. This is the most important place to me, in the world.”

I noticed that the grass here, it wasn’t very green. The trees had no flowers, and the leaves were stale. Everything just looked so…incredible dull. Even the patch of sky here was pale and gray.
