Oh god, am I blind? Sehun thought. This was strange. He was just walking and then he couldn't see. How did this happen? How. ..how...

" Baek, stop blocking the light from his eyes." A deep voice said coming from behind him.

" What, I was just messing with the newbie. Not my fault he can't take a joke." With that Sehun's vision returned. He turned around to see two guys. One was tall with big ears, and the other short wearing eyeliner. 

" H. ..how did you do that? Who are you? " Sehun was shaking as he spoke. He was scared thinking about what else the boy could do to him.

" Calm down. I'm Baekhyun. I can control light. The tall guy next to me is my boyfriend, Chanyeol. He's a pyro." He laughed while introducing himself.

" I'm Sehun. I can control wind, I guess." Sehun said hesitantly. He thought no one was going to be interested in him. This was definitely a surprise. Sehun was about to ask why they were talking to him when a bell rang telling the students to come to the cafeteria for lunch. The hall began to fill with students standing in lines to get on the elevators. Baekhyun grabbed Sehun pushing him into the elevator, saying " You're sitting with us from now on. We will be your new friends."

In the cafeteria, Sehun, Baekhyun, and Chanyeol sat at one of the many round tables. The food at the Academy wasn't as crappy as Jongin said. Then again he did seem to hate everything. Seeing how many people had these powers amazed Sehun. He wondered what kind of powers they had. 

" Hey, did Jongin tell you about the event that we hold with the other school?" Baekhyun asked excitedly. 

" Event? What event? " Sehun was now very interested in the conversation. 

" At the end of every month we have an event with TAFA, the other school. During the event, each school puts their best students against eachother. Using some weird teleport science the students and principal go to the opposite school. Last month Chanyeol got to go. This month the others are coming here so you'll get to see them. Pretty cool, right? " Baekhyun finished his explanation with bright eyes.

" So... how did you find out you had powers?" It was Chanyeol that spoke this time.

"Well, it was during my birthday. My parents had come out with the cake, telling me to blow out the candles, but i didn't know the cake would go hurtling out of the window. It was the most shocking thing I've ever experienced. Kinda embarrassing to talk about to." Sehun said hesitantly. 

" Oh yeah? Try to beat my story. I was pissed off yelling at my teacher about a bull assignment. My math book caught on fire in my hands. It didn't burn me though and I kinda just stared, like everyone else. At that point Joonmyun had come in and put the fire out then took me back home to explain. Pretty ing crazy if you ask me." Chanyeol's story was very interesting to Sehun. Sehun couldn't imagine having it happen in class like that.

" Well, you guys should watch what you're saying until you hear my story. I was ten years old. I lived my life blind. Then one day there was this light. This bright as light. I blinked a couple of times and the first thing I saw was my mother looking so dumbfounded with tears of disbelief in her eyes. Next, I saw my dad, then my brother, then Joonmyun. He told me that my powers gave me he ability to see. Beautiful, right?" Baekhyun finished leaving Sehun trying to hold his tears in. Sehun was thinking how one day you could be the most normal kid in the world. But the next you could have the power to do something incredible. 

"Hey, I have an idea," Baekhyun started, interrupting Sehun's thoughts. "Follow me to the gym. I wanna see what you can do."

"Baekhyun, you and I both know that that is against the rules. I don't think he's going to let you go with a warning the seventh time." Chanyeol tried reasoning with Baekhyun,  but failed as usual. Baekhyun grabbed Sehun pushing him into the elevator, and Chanyeol followed soon after that, still thinking this was a bad idea. 

Once in the gym, Baekhyun dragged Sehun to the middle of the floor. "Show me what you got!" Baekhyun shouted. Sehun, not knowing what to do, inhaled a deep breath and blew. To his, and the other's, surprise Sehun had blasted Baekhyun all the way across the gym. Chanyeol was next to him in an instant. 

" Baek, babe, speak to me!" Chanyeol was close to tears and overreacting a bit. "Are you okay?! Do you need help?! Oh god I dont know what to do!"

" I'm fine. Just calm down a bit and go get help," Baekhyun sounded like he was hurt. Chanyeol got up and ran to the elevator. Sehun just stared for a while then started crying hysterically. He had no idea his wind was that strong. 

" I...I'm sorry. I'm so s...sorry! I swear I didn't know that would happen! It was an accident I swear." Sehun had totally broken down by the time Chanyeol came back with nurses and Joonmyun. 

"What happened here?" Joonmyun tryed asking. Sehun wasn't forming coherent sentences anymore so Joonmyun kept talking. "It's okay, Sehun. Baekhyun will be fine. But, you should know that you are not allowed to use your powers without teacher supervision. I'm letting you off with a warning this time. Only because I want you to enjoy your time before staring lessons. Tomarrow is Sunday, so I want you to get some rest and enjoy it. Now go and calm down." Sehun listened to Joonmyun and went straight to his room, calmed down and slept for the rest of the day and night.

Sehun woke up and almost forgot where he was. The moment he remembered, he started to sob.

"Will you shut the hell up!" Jongin said. "Some people like to sleep in peace."

Sehun had learned that Jongin was a . He hated everything and everyone except for Kyungsoo. They're dating. Sehun immediately went to the bathroom and resumed his crying. He calmed down enough to start a shower. When he got out he found Jongin awake on the side of his bed.

"Thanks, I couldn't get back to sleep with all your goddamn crying." Jongin said bitterly and got up to go to the bathroom. Sehun dressed with only the sound of sniffles and distant running water. He decided to go and see Baekhyun in the infirmary. 

He had opened his door when a very lively Baekhyun had walked in. 

"You're okay! What a relief." Sehun was so happy now that he could see Baekhyun was fine. Chanyeol had followed Baekhyun in and shut the door. "What are you guys doing here, then?"

"We came to talk about how strong you are. Not even Jongin was that good as a newbie, and he's the best student!" Baekhyun was definitely better. 

"Really? All I did was blow, though. I'm not special." Sehun was confused. He had only used his powers once before the accident yesterday. How had he become so strong? Sehun thought about this when Jongin had come out of the bathroom. 

"No. Hell no. All of you, get out. Right now!" Jongin looked pissed. This was Sehun's room, too. He could have whoever he wanted in there.

"Hey! Who the hell died and made you king, huh? What makes you think you can order us around?" Jongin didn't like the attitude Baekhyun was giving him. He disappeared then reappeared in front of Baekhyun in an instant. 

"I could kill you if I absolutely wanted to, but I'm not going to waste my energy on a lost cause like you. So like I said earlier, get the out right NOW!" Jongin was so scary and intimidating, the three of them were out in mere seconds. 

"Damn I knew he was an , but this is ridiculous." Chanyeol said when they got to the dorm he shared with Baekhyun.

"Well, honestly, I don't blame him." Baekhyun said quietly.

"What do you mean?" Sehun asked curiously. He didn't know there was a reason to Jongin's douchebagery.

"It was when he was nine when he found out his powers. In the most tragic way possible, too. I heard him and his parents were in a car wreck. They died instantly. He was found screaming and crying in the backseat. They tried to save him and almost did but that's when he discovered his power. All he could think about was his home. Imagining every detail, wishing he could go. He teleported. After that Joonmyun found him in his bed at his house. The poor kid was shaking bad and sickly white. He hates everyone now because he couldn't be helped or saved. I heard he still even has nightmares. I shouldn't have said what I did." Baekhyun left both boys silent.

"How do you know all this?" Chanyeol questioned.

"I'm friends with Kyungsoo. He told me not to tell anyone, so keep it a secret guys." They both nodded. Sehun will never look at Jongin the same way after this.
