The entire week was filled with training and hard work for the four students participating in the event. They each came up with a strategy for how they were going to win. But, as the days past and excitement grew, everyone- except Jongin- was undeniably nervous. Seeing this, Joonmyun wanted everyone to take the weekend to calm their nerves. It worked for a while, but some of them *cough* Sehun *cough* couldn't get over it.

"What if I lose and everyone will hate me? What if they kick me out of the school? What if I die before they can heal me? What if Baekhyun or Chanyeol dies? What if they both die? I won't have any friends! What if I have to fight Luhan?! Jongin, you gotta help me!" Sehun was pacing instead of resting.

"Listen very, very closely." Jongin got up, put his hands on Sehun's shoulders and looked him in the eyes. "None of your ridiculous fantasies will ever happen. You won't die, you won't lose, no one will die, and you will not, I repeat, WILL NOT, fight Luhan. I believe in you. Now stop worrying and go lay down. You're ing annoying."

"Maybe you're right." Sehun finally started to calm down.

"I'm always right." Jongin replied.

"I should go check on Baekhyun. He's probably just as worried as I am."

"I don't know why you're telling me, because I don't give a damn."

Sehun left the room, much to Jongin's relief, and headed towards room 506. He arrived to Baekhyun, who had the most horrified look on his face, in Chanyeol's arms, rocking back and forth.

"I don't think I can do this, Yeol." Baekhyun muttered over and over again and each time Chanyeol replied with. "Yes you can. Don't worry, baby." Seems like Baekhyun was taking this harder than anyone else. Maybe it was because he had actually seen a fight. 

"Ar...are you... okay, Baek?" Sehun cautiously took steps toward the couple.

"Huh? Oh, Sehunnie, I didn't see you come in." Baekhyun was visibly shaken. He tried to smile.

"Hey, everything's going to be alright. I don't know how these fights go, but I do know that you are smart and strong enough to do this." Sehun tried his best to make Baekhyun feel better, while awkwardly standing in front of the two.

"Thank you, Sehunnie. I know I'm capable but I'm still afraid. It's more like I'm scared of the unknown possibilities. I even had the stupidest thought that maybe I would fight Luhan. Everyone knows only Jongin ever fights Luhan." 

"R...right, how stupid." Sehun was a bit embarrassed since he had had the same thought.

"I think we all need a nap or something." Chanyeol said, changing the subject. 

"Yeah, I'll go back to my room and rest, too." Sehun's visit was short but at least he helped.

He went inside and saw Jongin and Kyungsoo snuggled up on Jongin's bed, fast asleep. With all these couples in the school, Sehun felt pretty lonely. He didn't like getting attention, so he never tried to get a boyfriend. A couple of girls had confessed to him, but he had turned them down. He wasn't desperate or anything, he just wanted to be with someone. He decided not to dwell on the fact and he got in his bed. He ignored the thought that he had about Jongin and Kyungsoo being a cute couple, and soon drifted into the dark abyss of sleep.

He woke up an hour later to the sweetest words being spoken.

"You're going to do great, you know that, right?"

"I know, baby. I wish you could be there with me, but Sehun took your place."

"I'll be watching you and cheering you on, though."

"Good. I love you, babe." 

"I love you, too." A small kissing noise could be heard. It struck Sehun that this would be a great time to let the boys know that he was awake before anything else happened. He sat up and yawned loud enough so that they could hear him.

"Oh you're awake." Jongin sounded disappointed.

"Continue with your lovey... whatever. I'm going to hang out with my friends."

"Thanks for the play by play. When will you learn that I don't care?"

"I know, I just like annoying you." Before Jongin could say anything else Sehun had already left.

By dinner, everyone was pretty relaxed and ready for Sunday. Sehun used this time to ask as many questions as possible.

"What students from the other school usually compete?" The first question of the night.

"Well, there's Tao, Jongdae, Luhan, and Minseok. They're the regulars of the ring. Sometimes it changes but I doubt it this time." Baekhyun answered.

"Minseok is a snow demon. Seeing him makes my blood boil." Chanyeol started to get mad.

"That's only because he beat you last time." Baekhyun chuckled.

"How long does this last? Is it like an afternoon or like all day?" Question two, from Sehun the curious cat.

"It lasts most of the day for one battle, but it usually depends. One time it went on for like a week, but that was before there was the four student maximum rule." Baekhyun seemed to know all the answers. "Sehunnie, will you please stop asking so many questions I'm tired."

"Ok ok fine." Sehun was forced to shut up. After they had eaten they went back to their own rooms. Sehun wanted to practice a bit more with Jongin. Arriving at his room, he heard the water running and figured Jongin was in the shower. He occupied himself with small tornadoes. He wanted to try to make them bigger, but that would cause a lot of damage to the room. The water stopped and Jongin stepped out. He saw Sehun making tiny tornadoes.

"That's actually pretty cool. If you could make a bigger one, you could probably win." Jongin complimented Sehun.

"Really? I just do this when I'm bored. Hey, time me?" Sehun wasted no time asking Jongin this favor.        

"For a while. Kyungsoo is coming over soon. I don't want you to bore him to death, so just like, read a book or go to sleep or something." Sehun started his little stream of air while Jongin watched the clock. 

"How did you go from 27 seconds to 1 minute and 12 seconds?" Jongin said when Sehun finished.

"Wow, really?" Sehun was astonished at his impressive time. There was a knock at the door, interrupting Sehun's narcissistic thoughts of how great he was. Jongin got up and opened the door letting Kyungsoo in.

"Hey, Soo." Jongin said as Kyungsoo walked in.

"Hi, Innie. Oh, hi Sehun." Kyungsoo sat on Jongin's bed and waited for his boyfriend.

"Don't encourage him. He might talk and never stop." Jongin warned with a grin on his face.

"Yeah whatever." Sehun said, ignoring them and went to sleep. A perfect opportunity for Jongin to claim Kyunsoo's lips in a sweet kiss.
