"Hey Taehyung oppa!" You called out from behind as the whole group of you walked into school together. Taehyung stopped his tracks and turned to face you. "Yeah?" The rest of the guys were too busy chatting to realized that the both of you had stopped walking.

“About the honey water..” You started off, “I know that you were the one who had prepared it for me. Jungkook told me. Thank you… and sorry.” Your voice trailed off as you finished your sentence and you looked to your feet.

“Ah.. haha..” Taehyung let out an awkward laughter and scratched the back of his head. “You’re welcome, I guess? And there is nothing to be sorry about. I understand.”

Your head shot up. “But I didn’t even tell you why I’m sorry.” You blurted out, shocked by his answer.

“I know.” He smiled. “You probably heard the conversation Jungkook and I had outside your door… and you would know that I like you. I also know that you can’t return my feelings because the person you like is Jungkook.” Taehyung explained as he kicked the ground with his head hanging low. He looked up again and gave you a reassuring smile before turning around to join the others.

You watch as Taehyung walk away from you and you smiled slighty. “Thank you oppa” You whispered.

Jungkook avoided you at all cost. He would pretend to talk to his hyung when y’all were walking with the group. Or ask to visit the toilet whenever you turn around and tried to talk to him.
