Taeyeon’s POV

My God, this is exhausting.

I’m happy to performance ballad-but-oh-so-sad song,

But I’m so tired,

Watching another man who desperately try to clicking our rhyme,

I can’t think another things,

Other than sooyeon’s face,

Sooyeon’s lips,

Sooyeon’s admirable voice,

Those lips…

Ya! Kim tae yeon!

Pull yourself together,

Wipes your goofy smile or somebody would notice it,

For god sakes, you’re still on your way to another schedule,

But you can’t get right your mind,

Well I can’t,

I keep repeating what happened last afternoon,

When she thanked me,

When she kissed my cheeks,

Can I repeat it again?

Sigh it’s only 2 days since our last meeting

But I can’t wait to see her again,

Just the night after she called me again,

She asked if I forgot something,

And I absent-mindedly thought if I hadn’t paid for lunch,

She just laughed it off,

“you forgot my gift, maybe it’s a god’s way to make me see you easier again next time.”

She said.

With those flirting tones.

God, she kills me.

Even just imagined it,

I still recall those feelings,

When I had goosebumps all over my body.

And then again, sunkyu needs to ruin the moments,

She took the phone from mine,

And they were chatting until my battery went drop,

I didn’t even get my “good night” from soo yeon,

“uuuuu I’m sorry taenggo, am I really that annoying to you? I just ruined your day, 2 times in a day.”

2 times?

“what’s the first time?,” I asked with my pride.

My pride..

“you would have a lunch date with her if it wasn’t me coming along.”

She’s right!

I’m ready to tackle her and push her down the stairs,

But she stops me,

“do you really want your date at noon? Where everybody’s watching? Where you didn’t have any plans at all?.”

Again, she’s right.

After sunkyu said that, I let her go with ruffling her hair and said thank you.

I’m starting to make a date plan,

I used to planned it back years ago,

But I had to screwed it up by ignoring her,

Sigh

Oh, what was soo yeon said again?

My gift?

God’s way?

Ah Right! She’s so right!

Maybe it’s god’s way to meet us again soon,

By soon is I mean today

I checked my schedule for the next 4 hours,

I have a fan sign for about an half hour,

It maybe take 2-3 hours,

I have another stage until 9 pm,

But I have a night off until next morning,

Yes!

I just mentally high five-ing myself.

Yeah Taenggo, let’s give her a call.

As I brushed wrinkles on my short black dress,

I dial her number,

Waiting for another line to pick up,

At 1^st try, she didn’t answered,

2^nd, 3^rd, until 4^th it’s immediately going to mail box,

Maybe she’s busy.

But why can’t I get this nervousness out of me.

I guess old habit die hard.

So I dialed her number again for the 5^th time.

And it stills went to mail box, maybe I just let her know if I called,

“hey, are you busy? Well, give me a call when you’re not anymore, alright? Have a nice day.”

Have a nice day?

Ugh so corny.

Until I arrived at fan sign location, she still hasn’t called.

Maybe she’s too busy right now,

Maybe next time..

But I really want to see her again tonight,

Sigh

I straightened up my body,

And put my best smile,

I’m walking to stage with bright smile and my waving hand,

I’m so glad to meet Sone,

But at the same time,

I can’t get soo yeon’s out of my mind.

I checked my phone when I finally on car,

Ready to my next schedule,

And I missed 3 calls from soo yeon,

And a message.

It’s around an hour ago,

“hey you ;) I’m sorry, I fell asleep when I was waiting krystal to pick me up, what’s the matter? Call me when you can Xx, S.”

I gulped,

Those wink and kiss,

Soo yeon-ah, if only you knew what you did to me.

I dialed her number without hesitation,

And in 2 beeps, she picks up,

“hey.”

“hey gorgeous,” I said as smile hanging ear to ear.

She giggles,

“I’m sorry I missed your call.”

“it’s ok, do you have still have my gift?.” And now I sound nervous.

“yeah, why?.” She just blankly reply.

“umm…do you have any plan tonight?.”

I’m so nervous I could pee myself.

“no, I have a day off, do you?.”

“I just finished with fan sign, and I’m on my way to another stage performance.”

“ah! I listened to your song, solo and duet, your voice is so lovely, tae.”

“thank you.”

Why does she need to make it about me?

I call because it’s about her obviously,

“you had a schedule package, aren’t you?.”

“we all are.”

I let my bitter smile out,

I could see hers too,

“why are you asking though?.”

Does she really don’t know where this going?

Or is she trying to paid me back now?

“well, maybe we could meet tonight…um you know…you still have my gift, and it wouldn’t be right if my gift is still on you, I’m not saying if I really want the gift, but I am not saying if I don’t want it either, I just want…”

“tae yeon-ah, breathe,” she said.

I can see her smile at these line,

I inhaled a big oxygen before I continue my speech,

“as I was saying, maybe we can have a dinner tonight, you know, you me and dinner tonight, how’s that sound?.”

At least I manage to ask her that,

“like a date?.”

Oh my god, why is it so hard to ask her,

I already confessed to her but to ask her on a date really scared the hell out of me,

“umm if you want to, I mean, if you aren’t comfortable…”

And she cuts in again,

“date sounds good.”

And I relieved a long breathe as I closed my eyes,

She giggles again,

“you are cute.”

And my face is burning,

“only for you.”

And then there’s silence,

I guess it’s her turn to blush,

“I’ll pick you up around 10, you are at home, aren’t you?.”

“yeah I am.”

“ok.”

I can feel a hanger been putting on my face,

My face is hurting from my big smile,

“your gift will be waiting,” she said.

With those flirting tone again.

She always have a great way to make an ambiguity.

“yeah, can’t wait.” I lower my nervous voice.

She lets out her sweet little laugh again,

And she eases me in her own way,

“I L…I’ll see you soon,” she said.

She sounds embarrassed at the end of her words,

But I don’t know why, so I just shrugged it off,

“see you soon, sooyeon-ah.”

“do well, will you?.”

“aren’t I always?.”

After I hang up,

I called restaurant that I’ve been thinking,

And planning for the rest evening.

I’m nervous,

but in the excited way.

yay! they finally will go to their official date!

and have a happiest birthday to our lovely-considerated-gorgous leader, Kim Tae-Yeon.
