Jessica’s POV

she wasn’t drunk when she called me last night

Maybe she drinks a little,

how relieved if I didn't missed anything,

she is still the same after all.

But,

there’s something I didn’t mention it…

I feel there was something missing…

what is it....

Oh!

Yah! Jung Sooyeon, you really are dumb sometimes,

You didn’t bring that topic you left out,

Where she was saying that she is still so in love with you

ah you pabo..

But how could I bring that up?

I don’t want to seem like I’m needy or clingy or so full of myself,

but I want to sorted that things out too,

What do I do?

Uggh I need to calm down.

I make my way through the living room,

and turn on the television.

oh there’s drama playing

Maybe I could relax a bit,

and then a twins showed up on the scene, I guess it's the return of batman or something,

awwww that baby looks so cute, I could squeeze his cheeks until he cries,

and when I thought those babies already stole my attention,

I accidentally smell my fingers while I rub my nose,

taeyeon's scent still lingers in those gaps,

and that makes my mind come back at her, us, again somehow,

Why does it all turned out to be like this?

Why am I the one to think about it?

It's not only my problem, right?

But she seems really a lot of things have going on inside her tiny head,

It’s not fair for her,

Or for both of us..

sigh..

As I wait on her,

Who just take a shower after some bickering with sunny,

Because sunny knew how to play with tae’s nerves

And she better watch out, she might be a dead meat by the next day.

So I was saying, I’m thinking about lunch,

Since sunny comes with us, I think she can help me to take tae yeon out for shopping,

Just to relieving stress, who doesn’t love shopping anyway

Even I don’t doubt my fashion senses but sunny’s help wouldn’t be so bad

And something really hits me,

I wasn’t supposed to ask sunny to join us,

What if sunny wasn’t volunteering herself for being on this lunch?

Will it be a date?

Is it even gonna be a date?

Is it, soo yeon-ah?

Another headache come straight to my head

anyway I’m grateful she has sunny,

sunny is really a great friend,

but, did tae yeon said anything to sunny?

“wae? Just spill it out, sica,” she says as she lays down on the other couch

she came from her room after drying her hair,

with a box of soy-chicken,

she wasn’t even giving me a glance,

And she just sits there, stare blankly on the screen

Yet she reads my mind perfectly fine

“what? Do you think I want to ask something?.”

“your head is so noisy, I could hear your brain try to get out,” she said as smirks drawn on her face.

this rascal,

“I was just wondering if tae tells you something.”

“something like what?,” she didn’t even bulge.

Again,

She’s just laying down, watching drama that’s being aired, and eating her chicken

Her gaze still on screen

“something like secret.”

I said without missing a beep.

Then she puts another onion into

“if it was a secret, I wasn’t supposed to tell you then.”

If she has another eyes on the back of her head,

She would be on the death bed with my glare

“fair enough.”

As I let out a sighed,

“sica.”

“wae?”

“do you want to ask if she ever talks about you?.”

I’m starting to fidgeting all of sudden,

playing with my hand and my hair,

she rolles her eyes at me,

“I take it as a yes then.”

Maybe sunny needs to be on some magic show,

She literally can read my mind

“she didn’t, sica.”

she adds,

“she rarely talks about anything, actually.”

And I start to pinch my nosebridge,

Maybe I need to talk to fany,

“fany knew something though.”

My eyes went wider,

Did she say something to fany?

“but fany didn’t spill out the beans, all I know is Taeyeon was trying really hard to get over something, and she’s been stressed out about her solo performance soon.”

Right, she’s preparing her solo performance now,

“did fany told you that?.”

“not that much, I just wrap it eventually.”

I’m shifting my seat to be closer to sunny,

And she recognize it,

As she lowers her voice

“what happened to you two, sica? Did something happened? I try to ask tae about it but she didn’t giving me any answer at all, so I just make a raw conclusion if something happened was between you two or that something she tried to get over was you.”

I just blinking my eyes.

Of course members knew what’s going on,

Although Yoona didn’t dare to ask me about it,

I bet she knew that tae was trying to distance herself from me,

We didn’t know each other for a day

We’ve been together since elementary

“did she get over it?,”

And I gulp, even after her confessing, I still feel insecure with our state,

“not at all actually, she just loves make her life more miserable than already is,” sunny said

a smile tugging my face, relieved, not at miserable part though,

Sunny catches on really fast,

“so it’s true, sica?, it’s you, isn’t it? is this why you suddenly come to dorm and check on her? Did you call her last night? Or she called you?.”

That’s right, sunkyu is truly taeyeon’s best friend. She knows all too well.

“what if I say yes? Will you think of her and me any less?.”

She scoffs,

“of course not, I knew it a few years ago, so I guess she really have a big crush on you, even when she took care of fany and seems too clingy on her, actually she never take her eyes on you, sica, even when you guys didn’t talk, I couldn’t help but catching her staring you. might I say leering, aw don't pinch me, quietly. But not so subtle.”

that's right, I pinch her at the words leering,

and we manage to let our giggle

sunny suddenly stop her laugh,

She reaches my hand, taking it onto hers

And staring me straight through my eyes,

“I’m sorry you had to get through this, sica, I know if you would understand her at the end of the day, because that’s who she is, I hope you guys can work things out, just give her a chance, sica.”

And there’s serious-pleading-sunkyu on tae’s behalf,

I just smile unknowingly,

“I did sunny-ah, I do.”

Abruptly tae yeon was tripping a little while running  a little to her room

with a towel wrapping on her body, and a towel on her hair,

she just took a glance towards us, she seems embarrassed a little

so she takes off again to her room,

And we manage to let out another laugh,

As our laugh finally died down,

I pat her hands,

“don’t worry sunny-ah, we’ll work things out, thank you.”
