Taeyeon’s POV

It feels so good after I took shower,

The fact that everything’s going well

Make me feel fresh, young, and brand new

I wrap a towel around my body and my hair,

Just after I opened the door and ready to walk to my room,

I heard sunny and sooyeon’s talking

“did she get over it?,”

I back down a few steps,

“not at all,” sunny said

Get over what? Not at all? What did I missed?

“so it’s true, sica?, it’s you, isn’t it? is this why you suddenly come to dorm and check on her? Did you call her last night? Or she called you?.”

OH MY GOD,

Sunny knew, wasn’t she?

Why doesn’t soo yeon say anything?

Is it too obvious to deny it now?

“what if I say yes? Will you think of her any less?.”

Sunny just scoffed,

And OH MY GOD

SHE KNOWS EVERYTHING

LITERALLY, EVERYTHING

As I listen to them well, Oh yeah you bet I did,

I just can’t hear it anymore,

I heard enough,

I make a move to my room,

Even I have to cause some laughter,

Did I just tripped there?

Do I need to be careless and stupid at the same time now?

I’m trying to get up and covering up my embarrassment face

As I enter my room, I heard what soo yeon said,

Did she really say that to sunny?

So she confirms everything to her now?

I bang my head a little on the wall,

I’m so happy and timid now,

If only I could buried myself now, you know I would

There’s knock on my door,

“tae yeon-ah, are you okay?,” sunny and her teasing tone,

“ye..yeah of course, wait a minute,” I stutter.

And they let out another giggle.

I open my wardrobe and trying to pick my best dress,

As I dig on my clothes, I found something that has been long forgotten,

I take it out and my smile just naturally growing,

And I put it in my purse,

As I pick out a short skirt and pink sweater,

And there’s another knock when I finished with my hair and make up,

“tae yeon-ah,” I heard soo yeon’s beautiful voice,

It makes me happy all of sudden,

My name only sweet to hear when she said it,

“Kim tae yeon, you better get out from that room, we’re going to die with boredom, why do you have to take ages in there?.”

And there’s sunny yelling.

I open the door after I take my purse and my coat ,

“calm down you shorty things.”

Soo yeon just stand there, eyeing me from head to toe,

And sunny need to ruins the moment,

“ya! You decide to use your mini skirt when the rains pouring down, are you out of your mind?”

“shut up, lee sun-kyu, she looks nice,” soo yeon defenses me,

“I got your back,” as she whisper sweetly, making it obvious if only me can hear it,

“fine fine, take her side, if you’re going to die with coldness, don’t say I didn’t warn you,”

And sunny manages to make a tantrum, she went to the car with her pororo umbrella,

I put on my coat and take 2 umbrellas,

But soo yeon take and put an umbrella back,

She gives me a sign if we’re gonna share,

“it’s not that cold actually, the storm’s starting to calm.”

“you look beautiful by the way,” she adds.

And soo yeon always has her way to make me swoon,

“look who’s talking, you are the most beautiful ones here, I’m just trying to look nice for you,” I say with my megawatt smile.

I intertwined our hand without noticing her blushing face.

“let’s go, I'm not ready for sunkyu to chopping my head off.”

Obviously we’re not only going to eat,

We are going shopping first,

With our body guards and manager oppas surrounding us,

No matter how uncomfortable it is, as we surrounded by our fans, I can still breath easily with soo yeon’s hand on mine. I never let go. Even when we sit on the car,

And thankfully, she didn’t mind,

“if you two going to rub it on my face, please, don’t,”

Sunny said as she watching our hands,

And soo yeon reluctantly lets my hand go,

But her warm smile makes it alright,

“did you see what you want to buy?.”

And I shake my head, I don’t expect to buy something anyway,

“so let’s settle it guys, we buy one for another, we meet here again for another hour.”

“call.” Soo yeon said cheerly without hesitant.

I nod as I study her face,

So we went apart,

another 5 steps I made, I couldn’t tear of my gaze from soo  yeon,

As She disappeared in tons of people and clothes,

I walk out from the shop,

I went to soo yeon & yoona’s favorite shop,

They have similar style, so I’m not that surprised when they were sharing favorite spot,

As time passes by, without I realize, a few shops been crossed,

I have 7 bags on my hand,

Yet I haven’t found something nice for soo yeon,

She really want earing last time I check,

So I was trying really hard to find the perfect earing,

Which I find it an half hour later,

Butterfly shape, with amethyst and emerald stone,

After saying thank you, I put it on my pocket and walking to parking lot,

The 2 ladies been waiting for an hour in car,

Because the place we’ve seen last time was full with sea of people,

“where have you been?,” sunny ask with concern on her voice,

“shopping,” I said while lifting up bags on my hand.

And she is smiling now.

When I was finally sitting, I found soo yeon’s massaging her feet,

“get tired while walking and waiting,” sunny said before I ask.

“I’m sorry,” I said as I’m trying to massaging her feet,

“no no, I’m fine tae yeon-ah,” she was trying to hover her feet,

But sunny stops her,

“here, let her massage us,” and she lays soo yeon’s feet and hers on my lap too now.

“but…”

“sush! Doing good deed indeed adorable, don’t you think?, so go on, taenggo.”

And soo yeon gives in,

Sunny’s patting her head,

“now that is a good girl.”

Happily, I massage their feet.

I don’t mind though, we often do this years ago.

We are starting to chatting up about what are we going to eat, where are we going, and what we bought.

I didn’t realize when we’re finally arrive to restaurant,

Sunny and soo yeon’s linking their arms with mine and we walk through into the building,

I didn’t find paparazzi around here,

And it’s pretty quiet restaurant,

I’ve never been here before.

“relax, no one knew this place before, it’s a little out of town, sunny did a little research.”

“yep, they have the best noodles.”

And we finally made into our reservation and table,

After we ordered our food, we began another chatting,

From the rookies that already on the edge of their debut,

Until our comeback which is around the corner, only counting the days.

As the food finally came, we are eating deliciously.

I didn’t notice how hungry I am until we finished our food,

Thank God we move a lot so we still have that S line,

“I need to take this,” sunny said as answering her phone that’s ringing,

She left the 2 of us,

Staring and longing with each other,

Face to face,

“so how have you been?,” I ask.

And then she smiles,

“I’m great, I have regain something’s I’ve lost before,” she calmly answered it.

“good,” and this time I return the smile joyfully.

“I want to ask something.”

“ask away.”

She studies me for a few minutes,

“why did you decided to called me that night?.”

I would choke on my food if I was chewing something,

I calm my head for a second and answered it smoothly.

“honestly, I have had enough, I’m miserable, I feel the weight of the world is on my shoulder, I put the distance between us, company’s slowly killing us, and public eyes are so intimidating, I’m this close to wanting to die,”

As I make a space between my index finger and my thumb.

She seems intense when I mentioned that I wanted to die

“relax, but I didn’t, because you are there. as cheesy as it sounds, just by hearing your breath, your voice, I could feel a little lighter.”

And there she goes again, blushing.

“what if I didn’t want to give you a chance, tae?, what if I rudely barking at you because of your confession?.”

And I stunt.

But she didn’t.

She’s sitting in front of me now,

She’s closer more than ever,

Oh how tragic life of what-ifs

"I could live with that,"

but my voice doesn't convincing,

“maybe I’ll just blame it on alcohol,” as I stick my tongue out.

Sooyeon just giggle as she shakes her head,

“but you didn’t, you gave me a chance, so, I’m forever grateful sooyeon-ah, oh before I forget, here, I have something for you, from a long time ago, and since now it’s start to raining again, so there you go,” I said while take out a red-well-knitted-glove I made inside my purse.

I couldn’t read her face, she seems a little bit surprise, in good way.

“did you made this?,” as she take a look of the glove

“yeah, it wasn’t a big deal, you said if you want a glove before, when we were promoting Gee, I didn’t have a chance to give it to you until now.”

I don’t know why, I feel scared.

"you choose to knit it instead of bought it,"

I feel my cheeks burning

Sooyeon looks at me with her warm and loving looks,

“plus, it was long time ago, tae.”

I nod.

"you are worth it," I muttered.

“and you actually listened to me.”

“of course I did listen to you, I still do, sooyeon-ah.”

She reaches my hand, still with those doe eyes,

“thank you, it means a lot to me,” she said.

I just squeeze her hand and smile,

“when did you recognize your feeling to me?,” she asked as she take her hand again.

I gulp,

Well, I should've expect this,

“I have a long way to finally come to term if I really like you, some phsycological things said I was in denial.”

she nods a little,

“so, when did you start to accept your feeling to me?,” she asks like it wasn’t a big elephant in the room,

“a year before our debut,” I said before taking a sip of my juice.

“wow, that was really a long time ago,” she said.

“I know, I’m pathetic for liking someone that too good to be true,” I said while looking down on my lap.

“hey hey,”

And I look up again, looking at beautiful face that full of concerns,

“you aren’t pathetic.”

And she’s caressing my face with her soft hand,

"I'm just too good to be true," she said as she wink and sticks her tounge out at me,

and I slap her hand and hold it,

we laugh from her lame jokes,

I put my hand on top of hers, 

as our laugh died down,

“thank you,” I managed to open my mouth.

Sooyeon’s releasing her hand when sunny’s walking towards us,

We are sitting quietly again, like nothing’s happened,

“what are you guys talking about?.”

“just some stuffs,” I said.

“well, it’s nice to have you guys made up again,” she said as raising her glass of wine,

We share a small smile unknowingly,

“to our bonds that never get old by time.”

“cheers.”

After We dropped sunny on SM building,

we went back to dorm.

Soo yeon and I just sitting quietly on the back of car,

Enjoying our harmless minutes.

“did you try to get over me?.”

She spills it out of nowhere,

Reflexed, I turn my head faster than it should be to her,

She’s just watching tree that we passed,

maybe she noticed if I turn my head into her,

but she didn't even move,

“I did.” I said, still watching her side profile.

And there was the silence again,

Until she opens again,

“are you finally can get over me?.”

“no, not even once.”

When we finally arrive at the dorm,

Soo yeon walks me to the door with pile of bags on our hand,

“I’ll take it from here,” I said as I opened the door,

“are you sure?,”

“of course, just wait a minute, I’ll be back.”

And whooosss, speedily I take the bags on living room and walking toward soo yeon,

“thank you for today, I really have a great day.”

“you’re mostly welcome,” she smiles sweetly.

I take earing that’s been hanging around on my pocket for awhile now,

I put it on red box with pretty ribbon,

“this is for you.”

“well, did I just hit a jackpot?,” she said jokingly.

I just giggle with her cute humor.

“you didn’t have to do this, tae.”

“I want to,” I insist.

She knows me well to not argue, she just smiles again,

“thank you for giving me a chance,” I said.

She nods.

“I owe myself too.”

She steps a little closer to me,

"thank you for apologising and your confession."

We just separated by an inch now,

And I gasp for some air,

“sooyeon-ah..”

“and thank you... for not giving up on me.”

And she kissed my cheek.

It lingers longer than it should be,

Even after she’s gone from the elevator.
