“Okay, class is dismissed,” Your Math teacher walked away. Immediately, your classmates started to pack their bags and left the classroom in a hurry; like there’s something urgent going on. You only chuckled at your classmates’ eagerness. After all, it was Friday. Days like this would mean late nights and exciting parties or events, but for you, it was just sleeping all day long and watching your favorite drama with your sister.

“Oy! Wait up!” Your best friend Minji hurriedly went to your seat. “I’m still not leaving, Minji. What’s there to wait for?” You laughed as you stuffed your Math book in your bag. “Meanie.” She pouted. “Anyway, I was so bored at Math. I thought I was going to fall asleep!” Your best friend exclaimed, propping her elbows on your desk.

You only smiled. “You should pay more attention so that you’d learn a lot of things, babo.” You knocked her head with your fist. “Hng…” She only rubbed her head. “Anyway, let’s go!” She secretly smiled; knowing that something spectacular would happen to you. “Eh? Where are we going?” You asked; clueless.

“We’re going to get ice cream at the park! The park near here, you know?” Minji pulled you before you could speak any more.

You both on your strawberry ice cream. “Ice cream’s good for this weather,” You commented happily. Minji nodded at you; waiting for a signal from the boys. “Hmm… strawberry ice cream~” You sang childishly. You both laughed. Then, a beep sounded from your best friend’s phone. Okay, the signal’s here. Minji feigned to look at a text. “Oops, it looks like I have to go,” She feigned a pitiful stare. “Who was it? Your mom?” You guessed; completely oblivious.

“Yeah, she texted me. It’s something urgent, I have to go.” Minji stood up just as she finished her ice cream. You nodded; understanding. “Okay, goodbye, Minji!” You smiled and waved at her. “Bye! Enjoy,” Minji smirked at the last word. You confusedly tilted your head. “What do you mean?”

“Nothing!” She yelled as she walked away. Hmm… What does she mean by that? You started suspecting. You threw your tissue away and as you were about to stand up, your classmate Jr. blocked your way. “Annyeong!” He waved. You meekly waved. “Annyeong…?” Your greeting came out as a question.

“I’m sorry but I have to do this.” Jr. smiled at you apologetically. Before you could comprehend what was happening, he suddenly covered your eyes with a handkerchief. “O-oh…!” You squealed in surprise. “What’s this?!” You suddenly felt nervous. “A-are you going t-to do s-something?” You accused weakly. “Aniya, just trust me, please.” Jr. begged. His sweat trickled down his face. Aigoo, this job is so hard… he better pay me back for this, he thought.

You felt nervousness. But you should trust him. Jr. had always been nice to you. You assured yourself and took a deep breath. “O-okay… Where are we going?” You finally asked. “I’ll guide you,” Jr. reassured. “Okay…” You bit your bottom lip. He started to guide you, grasping your arm softly to lead you.

You finally arrived at your destination minutes later. Jr. took a deep breath. Someone gave him the signal and he took off the handkerchief on your eyes. “H-hey…-” You started but you gasped at the scene in front of you. The park had turned into a more beautiful place. There were butterflies, and the fountain was sprinkling water for the first time. The benches were arranged orderly at the front, and there were bright lights. There were decorations hung on the trees. You smiled in awe.

“Surprise,” you heard a nervous voice behind you. You jumped slightly at the voice, and you saw… Youngjae? You blinked. “Did you prepare this…?” You carefully asked, your heart beating fast. “Uh… yeah, I did.” Youngjae rubbed his neck meekly, turning red in the face. “Do you… like it?” He nervously asked. “Y-yes, I do.” You touched the decorations with an amiable smile. “But… why?” You blinked curiously.

This was it. Youngjae, get a hold of yourself and be a man, Youngjae encouraged himself. He surprised you a lot by showing a bouquet of fresh jasmine flowers behind his back. “U-uh… I really, r-really… l-like you… Will you… be my girlfriend…?” Youngjae shyly handed you the bouquet with a shy smile on his face. His face was really red from embarrassment.

A smile lighted on your face. You accepted them gladly. You weren’t the shy type much, and you were the straight forward kind, but you liked him a lot, too. “Thank you very much, Youngjae, but…” You touched the decorations again. His heart dropped, as he thought it was over the moment ‘but’ was muttered. “O-oh… it’s okay, you don’t like me, right…?” He heaved a heavy sigh with a disheartened heart. He started to turn. A grin etched on your lips as you got a hold of his arm.

“Hey, I haven’t said anything yet! Why are you leaving so soon?” You playfully teased. “I know y-you don’t l-like me…” Youngjae whispered. “Are you that of a babo?” You laughed. “I was going to say; but, decorating the park wasn’t necessary.” You continued and giggled. Youngjae’s mouth opened in agape. He totally assumed. He almost slapped his face in mortification. “O-oh… I’m so stupid.” You heard him mutter.

You laughed. “You’re not stupid, Youngjae. I like you, too. And yes, I’ll be your girlfriend.” You beamed. “W-wha…- Really?!” He almost jumped. “Yes, Youngjae. I’ll be yours!” You laughed again. He’s so cute, you blushed. “Oh! I’m so happy!” he hugged you unconsciously out of happiness. You got surprised as a tint of red covered your face. You awkwardly hugged him back. Hehe, so this is the feeling of your feelings getting returned, you thought; a warm feeling spreading your body. You were really, really happy.

“Sorry I hugged you,” He pulled away shyly. “It’s okay,” you warmly smiled. “So… dinner?” You offered. “Y-yeah…” Youngjae nodded shyly. He kissed your lips bluntly and shortly. Youngjae turned really red, and you were pretty sure you were mirroring him, too.

“Yey! Finally, hyung and noona are together!” You both got surprised at Yugyeom’s voice. The maknaes bounced out of their hiding places. “Oh, Bambam, Yugyeom!” You grinned; redness covering your face as you remembered his abrupt kiss. “Next time do it properly.” You heard JB mutter from behind you.

“Hyung!” Youngjae covered his face in embarrassment. You laughed. I’m so happy Youngjae’s mine now, you grinned.
