“Oppa!” Trammy Kim rapped her knuckles on the glass; smiling cheerfully at her boyfriend. The infamous Mark Tuan looked up and found his cute girlfriend. A smile broke out on his lips, enlightening his features. He waved and put a hand out to tell her to wait. She nodded happily. She couldn’t wait to hang out with him and talk all day. She missed him throughout her classes. Too bad that he was a senior already and she was still a junior.

Mark came out of his classroom with a big smile. Trammy ran up to him and gave him a big hug. “Finally! Why was your class so long?” She asked a little sulkily. “Mr. Lee just got back.” Mark sighed, but when he wrapped his arms around her, an automatic smile curled on his lips. He just couldn’t help but automatically be happy like a robot if he’s around her.

Trammy hooked her arms around his and led him out of Gyewon High. “Are you still up with our ice cream plan?” She beamed at him. “Of course. What flavor would you like?” He tweaked her nose with affectionate eyes. “Strawberry. But I also want chocolate,” She pouted. “Don’t worry. I’ll get chocolate, then we’ll exchange later. Half-half, if that’s what you want.” He offered kindly. A big grin curled on her lips. “Really? You would do that?” She almost yelled happily.

“Anything for my baby girl,” Mark cooed sweetly. Laughing, they went to their favorite ice cream shop.

When they arrived, different kinds of people were there; students, children, and even adults. “Come on, let’s sit here.” Mark led her to a table near the window. “I’ll order, alright? Stay here. Don’t go anywhere, someone will steal our table.” He patted her head and went. Beaming, Trammy sat cross-legged while fiddling with her phone. Her character in the game died, and she snapped her fingers. A shadow casted over her and thinking it was her boyfriend, she looked up with a happy smile.

“You’re back -” She didn’t let her sentence continue. In front of her was a very handsome boy who looked like her age. “Hello.” The mysterious boy greeted. His voice was surprisingly charming. Trammy, in a daze, bowed a bit. “Is someone sitting here?” He asked. “Y-Yes,” She responded, still dazed. “Oh, that’s too bad. You’re such a pretty girl.” A small smirk curled on his lips. She became defensive all of a sudden. What if this boy was hitting on her? She was taken!

Before she could tell him to cut it off, Mark was already back. “Who is this?” He protectively asked. “He-” Trammy started to speak. “Her friend,” The guy randomly said. What? Is he out of his mind? I don’t even know him! She yelled in her mind. “Really?” Mark sat down warily. “He’s not. I don’t know him.” She blurted out. “Please stay away. I don’t even know you.” Trammy glared. “Don’t be like that. You and I have history way past the Joseon dynasty.” A nasty smirk grew on his lips.

She became baffled. From the corner of her eyes, she could see Mark clenching his fists tightly. “No! Mark, don’t believe this guy! I don’t even know him!” She cried. “Please go!” Trammy glared at him hardly. “Whatever.” The guy walked away coolly. “Mark, don’t believe him. I really don’t know him,” She explained. “Really? Then why was he here? Why was he saying that? Why are you so defensive? Are you cheating?” He became defensive. “Mark, please believe me. That guy was no one! I don’t know him. He just approached me and said nonsense. You’re my one and only, right? I really don’t look at other guys, and I won’t! Just you.” Trammy looked down, embarrassed at her words. “I’m sincere. And I’m not cheating. I won’t ever cheat on you.” She squeaked, turning red.

Mark softened. He saw how sincere she was. In truth, he didn’t know why he became so defensive either. Maybe he was just jealous of how that guy was so smooth on talking to girls, or how he just talked like he owned his girlfriend. He was driven mad, and annoyed, but Trammy just had her ways of squeezing through his heart so easily like it was just as simple as ABC.

“Sorry, Tram. I doubted you.” He squeezed her hand. “Let’s just eat our ice cream. It’s melting.” A smile cracked on his lips. Trammy looked up and smiled back appreciatively. “You have something there.” She feigned pointing on a spot on his lips. “R-really?” Mark blinked, wiping it off even though there was nothing. “No, not there.” She faked it again. “Let me remove it for you.” Trammy grinned secretively. She leaned in and kissed the spot. “There. It’s gone now.”

They both blushed. They knew now that their relationship was rocky, but they would go through it together by trusting each other.
