Foreword
A girl named Vanessa lost her mum when she gave birth to her and she’s been living with her dad and stepmom which is Vanessa’s mums close friend. When she turned 12 her dad passed away when he went to the army.
5 years later she moved to Korea with her stepmom because she owns a school there.
Will Vanessa be able to fit in even when she is the only black girl?
