“Taeyeon!”
 

Gyuri and Yuri rushed beside Taeyeon fainted body on the ground.

Gyuri sensed that Taeyeon’s inner powers are clashing with each others. Why? Gyuri questioned herself without knowing the reason why is this happening. It is almost a hundred percent that Taeyeon is a pure blood without fail, if she could even enter the spirit world of her weapon. But why are her inner powers attacking each other?

With so much questions and enquires to ask going through both Gyuri and Yuri’s mind without a specific answer to their thoughts. Slowly, Taeyeon’s inner powers are calming down and Gyuri ordered her guards to carry Taeyeon to the guest rooms to let her rest while Yuri followed Taeyeon to her room.

Gyuri decided to use the dimension phone to call Shinyoung, to find out more about Taeyeon and Yuri but specifically Taeyeon. Also to find out why is this happening?

“Shinyoung unnie! I’m Gyuri. Can you tell me more about Taeyeon and Yuri? Like their family and trainer if you don’t mind?”

“Why? What happened to them?”

“Sorry unnie, I somehow forced them to train and try to unlock their pure blood traits to make them stronger but Taeyeon fainted right away she went into her spirit weapon world.”

“No wonder. I don’t blame you, Gyuri, every trainer that trained Taeyeon tries to make her unlock her pure traits but none of them succeed. You saw the case file of Taeyeon and Yuri when I send them to you when they first arrived didn’t you? You also realized Taeyeon’s developing of her elements powers are so much faster than everyone of her age. Well… These have something to do with her parents of course. But do not tell Taeyeon about this please? Promise me.”

“Yes unnie, I respect your decision.”

“So, Taeyeon’s parents are the legendary duo pair, GhostSword and NinjaStar. So technically speaking, Taeyeon has the highest chance to become the chosen one. But ever since her parents went missing during the dimension war, the rate of growth of Taeyeon’s powers slowed down drastically to how normal elites would. And logically, based on Taeyeon’s growth, she should be able to unlock her pure blood earlier than everyone of her age. But she always failed when she tries to unlock during the trainings. The reason why is still a mystery to us. Some trainers said that the reason might be because of her missing parents though. But we couldn’t find out why.”

“That’s kind of shocking. So, what about Yuri then? She didn’t try to unlock her pure blood yet, but I’m pretty sure she is capable of unlocking earlier than most of the other people, why she didn’t unlock as well?”

“Yuri is a challenging kid. Her parents are a pure rain and electric element controller. Her dad is a secret military commander, which also means that he’s totally trained for combat. That’s how Yuri turned out to be outstanding as well. Practically, Taeyeon has a higher chance to become the chosen one instead of Yuri but we couldn’t neglect her because Taeyeon’s mystery are yet to be solved hence we have to make a decision to find out who is more suitable to be the chosen one and save all the dimension from the crisis.”

“So basically, Yuri didn’t fail but it is because she hasn’t tried unlocking her pure blood abilities?”

“No. Yuri failed once, during when she just turned 14. But ever since that incident, all the other trainers ask her to try again knowing that her powers had significantly improved over the years and became more suitable to unlock her pure blood abilities. But she always rejected the offer.”

“So logically speaking, it’s because of trauma?”

“We are not sure of the reason as well. The main purpose of sending the 2 of them for this mission is because I want them to clear their minds and focus their attention on other things instead of cooping and training every day.”

“Ahh I understand unnie. Thank you. I will take good care of them. Goodbye”

Gyuri decided to return the case files of Taeyeon and Yuri back to their respective cabinets.

“If only things were much simpler and not so complicated. These 2 girls will be such a gem to all the dimensions” Gyuri sighed as she took a peek at Yuri who is starring intensely at the fainted Taeyeon.

Gyuri went back to the headquarters of her secret base.

Gyuri started her daily routine training where she would transfer part of her powers to the dimension barrier that blocks the dark missionaries from entering.

During certain time of the day, there would a period where the barrier is the weakest. During that period it is crucial for Gyuri to stay in the room and uses her own power to strengthen the dimension barrier. But however if during the process of Gyuri using her own power and the Dark missionaries managed to break through, Gyuri would actually suffers a huge blow to her powers and she would be most likely severely injured. But luckily so far, nothing serious had happened.

Yuri stayed at Taeyeon sides for the past 2 hours after the guards carried Taeyeon into the guest room. Yuri started to think back about their childhood together.

Flashback

“Taeyeonie.. Let’s go out and play. Appa says okay to play out today.” Little Yuri went running to Taeyeon’s room to bug her little best friend to go out and play with her.

“No I don’t feel like playing out today. Sorry Yuri ahh.” Little Taeyeon cutely whined while placing her little chin on top of her folded arms on the table.

“Why.. Taeyeonie, you can go out and play with Sunny, Hyoyeonie and her friends. You like playing with them especially that tomboy Amber don’t you?”

“I got no mood Yuri ah.. You can go ahead without me.”

“Okay then.. Don’t think too much about what had happened okay. It is inevitable. And it is not your fault” Yuri sighed as she left Taeyeon’s room and left for the playground to meet the rest.

After speaking to Taeyeon, Yuri met up with Hyoyeon, Sunny, Amber and a cute boy called Henry. Henry had a little crush on Taeyeon at first but after Taeyeon and Miyoung became super close with each other, Henry became Taeyeon’s guardian angel, secretly protecting her silently.

However, after Miyoung went missing, Taeyeon isn’t the same old Taeyeon anymore. The Taeyeon after Miyoung is missing, no longer goes out and play with them anymore, neither does Taeyeon comes out of her room. Taeyeon always blamed herself for neglecting Miyoung during the battle which causes Miyoung to be kidnapped away without knowing. Even though it is not her fault that both Miyoung and Sooyeon got kidnapped during the dimension war, she has been blaming herself for that mistake.

Yuri always tries to cheer her little buddy up by inviting her out to play, inviting her to eat her favourite ice-cream but that ice-cream reminds her too much of Miyoung that she even rejected the treats.

“It is always you who suffered so much; it’s time to share the burden Taeyeon ah.” Yuri whispered to the sleeping Taeyeon.

Yuri left Taeyeon’s room, and went to the room beside it and fell asleep.

Taeyeon turned autistic after her parents went missing and the kidnapped case of Sooyeon and Miyoung, under the care of the Kwon family. Until one day, when Taeyeon and Yuri turned 11, when Taeyeon and Yuri finally qualified and be able to apply for the Elites Academy enrolment programme. It is every child’s who are gifted with special powers dream to be able to enroll and join the Elites Academy to learn and join the training and everything.

Taeyeon whose parents are the legendary duo, the skills that she inherited from her parents lead her to an easy pass for the enrolment exam. Yuri trained hard and passed the enrolment exam along with most of their childhood friends except for one.

Taeyeon met a trainer, Kahi who was in charge of teaching her, Yuri and Eunhyuk. Kahi loves teaching Taeyeon as much as Taeyeon loving to be teached by Kahi. Main reason, Kahi always understands Taeyeon easily no matter how she hides, Kahi would read her like an open book.

Kahi always encouraged Taeyeon to train harder than most of the other kids in the academy because there is a little promise between them. But suddenly when Taeyeon is going to advance to the senior level in the academy, the principal of the Elites Academy transferred Kahi back to the Elites headquarters and Taeyeon almost return back to the autistic Taeyeon but with the help and encouragement of Yuri, Taeyeon trained harder than before to keep the promise between Kahi and her.

Right after graduating from the academy, Taeyeon, Yuri and some of her friends she made from the academy joined the Dimension Mission sector together, with the hope of finding Miyoung and Sooyeon again after so many years. Lucky for Taeyeon, the head of the sector, Prof. Shinyoung is very willing to investigate on this case and willing to help her solve this case and search for the missing 2 ladies.

With much help, relations and technology, Seohyun, who is trained in the technology of tracking DNA, they found a match of Sooyeon and Miyoung’s DNA in Dimension Green. After months of preparation, they sent Taeyeon and Yuri to Dimension Green to begin their mission to search for the 2 ladies.

Taeyeon began to regain consciousness. Taeyeon slowly stretch her eyelids open, to be only blinded by the lights on the ceiling of the room. Taeyeon sat up on the bed to realize that she is alone in the room.

Taeyeon POV

Ah right, I lost concentration of my powers and fainted halfway during the training I’ll apologize to Gyuri later on.

Taeyeon took her phone from the table beside her bed and realize it is already 2am, she have another 6hrs before her lessons starts the next morning. Taeyeon started browsing through her photos in the phone and happened to stop at a photo she took at the park with Miyoung during her very first Valentine’s Day date together.

Taeyeon smiled at her phone as she reached into her pocket and took out a little notebook which looks a little old and tattered.

Inside the book contains many different drawing from Taeyeon and Miyoung who drew during their free time together when they were young. There is this picture which has a Dookong and Totoro fighting incoherently with random symbols which Miyoung loves to use them so much.

Taeyeon flipped to her favourite drawing, a black toy poodle and a white maltese playing together, they drew it for fun when they suddenly had a craving to keep a pet together but they couldn’t decide on a single pet because they wanted different colour and a different breed, Taeyeon wanted a black toy poodle but Miyoung insisted to have a white maltese instead.

Taeyeon flipped over to the last drawing.

The last drawing is drawn by Taeyeon herself, it is a drawing of their first Valentine Day event.

Taeyeon has included almost all the activities they done that such as the couch, date at the mall, date at the park, the ice-cream..etc

At the bottom of the drawing its written, "Let this be the first to the many memories we will create together..."

Taeyeon had a tear that slowly escaped her eyes.

That little book was meant to be a special gift.

Taeyeon had written a hidden message on the back of that drawing for Miyoung for her 8^th birthday but that day never came.

It’s written,

“I will protect you forever….”
