[Han Neul’s POV]

I paced uneasily around the living room, walking aimlessly here and there. Zico will move in tonight, right after they are off from work, that’s what 5Zic oppa said.

I don’t even know how and why 5Zic oppa comes to make this decision. Can’t he just give Zico a stable schedule or a brief explanation about his ‘babysitting’ career? Allowing him to move in is just a little too far overboard. I feel like I’m going to be watched 24/7 from now on. 5Zic oppa might as well just install some CCTVs in the house if he really wants to control my life that much.

I glance at the clock on the wall, it’s almost midnight. They will be home anytime soon. I sit on the couch and get up again, biting my nails. Everything seems to be wrong today. I don’t even know why I must feel this anxious. Sure, I’ve been living with my brother since I was little, but having a guy who is an outsider as a housemate would be something new to me. Did I mention that he’s hot too?

I glance again at the clock. For some reason, it feels like the clock is ticking a little bit slower tonight. I run into my room and pull out a stool before placing it in front of the wall where the clock is placed up just above my head.

“Why isn’t this thing working?” I take off the clock from its place.

“Did the battery died already?” I look at the back of the clock where the battery is placed.

Just then the bell rings. He’s here. No! They are here, 5Zic oppa and Zico. Flustered, I throw the clock onto the couch nearby and dash into my room before jump onto my bed, playing dead. I don’t even close the door or switch off the light.

After a moment, the bell stops ringing. I heard 5Zic oppa’s voice first.

“Who put this thing here?” He speaks loudly. Why did he even ask? I’m sure he knows that I’m the only person in the house right now.

I hear his footsteps coming closer to my room. I shut my eyes tight, pretending to be sleeping.

“She’s asleep already.” I hear 5Zic oppa mutters in front of the door before walks closer towards me.

Gently, he pulls the blanket up covering my body.

“You must feel very lonely right, to be left alone every day?” I hear he says. So he knows? Then why does he always leave me alone. He should have spent more times with me. I’m his only sister.

“I’m sorry…” I can feel his hand on my forehead now.

“Good night, my princess. Have a sweet dream.” He caresses my forehead. It really tickles but I just bear it inside. Did he do this every night? Truth be told, I really miss this moment. It feels like when mom was still here, she would always sing me a lullaby until I fell asleep.

I hear 5Zic oppa’s steps fades away before he closes the door. Slowly, my eyes flutter open. 5Zic oppa has switched off the light.

I sit on my bed, looking nowhere in the darkness. 5Zic oppa’s words just now really touched me.

We are siblings… but we hardly spend our times together. 5Zic oppa would always be busy with his works. I only meet him in the morning or during weekends. Sometimes, he just needs to go to work too on weekends. I can only see him the most when I got myself into troubles. I always have this kind of thought that I should get myself into trouble on purpose, so then only I can see him.
