Grounded!
Zico, My y Babysitter[Han Neul’s POV]
“Han Neul… Han Neul…” I turn around to look at Ji Min who is sitting behind me in class.
“What…?” I answer lazily. Realising that I’m not in the mood, she get up of her chair and walks to my place. Da Young follows her.
“There’s a new club opens in town. Do you want to join us tonight?” Ji Min wriggles her eyebrows looking at me.
I look at her without any expression. I sigh. “No.”
“Aii… Seriously? You never refuse any party invitation before.” Da Young says.
“Da Young, you are really going? Your parents actually allow you to go out?” I say sarcastically, a little bit annoyed.
Da Young stuns at my remarks but I didn’t care. I’m not in a good mood now and they should have known better than keep bothering me.
“My parents are outstation. So for this month, I’m a free man. But anyway, who needs a permission?” She says in glee, spreading her arms wide. That’s something to be envy of.
“Good for you then.” I answer short. Actually, I’m jealous.
“What’s wrong with you actually?” Ji Min asks, probably annoyed with my y rant since this morning. This is all 5Zic oppa’s fault. He shouldn’t have punished me at the first place.
“What’s wrong with me? I just got grounded for 2 weeks. That’s what’s wrong.” I almost yell, but not too loud. No one should now that I, Kim Han Neul, the school’s queen bee just got grounded. That would be humiliating.
I sigh and turn to look outside the window again.
“You…you got grounded?” Ji Min asks hesitantly, almost whispering.
I nod my head.
“Is it because of last night?” She asks again.
I nod again.
“Han Neul, I’m really sorry. It is because of me that you got punished right? I shouldn’t have brought you there.” Ji Min suddenly says in guilt. I am not mad at her because of that. To think again, it is actually my fault. I am the one who sneak out without 5Zic oppa’s knowing. Ji Min didn’t force me to join her.
“Forget it; it’s not your fault. I am the one who want to follow you.” I calm her down.
“Sorry…” she says again in a low tune, almost crying.
“Nah… it’s okay. Stop smudging your make-up.” I told her.
The last bell rings for the day. The school session is finally over.
“Han Neul-ah, let’s go to the ice-cream shop next road… I’ll treat you.” Ji Min says as I was busy packing my things into the bag.
“Really…?” I say, finally feeling a bit relax.
“Yup… Don’t worry. Take it as my apology.” Ji Min says.
“Yah! How about me?” Da Young suddenly butts in.
“You… you don’t get grounded.” Ji Min tells her.
“Says who? Among the three of us. I’m the one got grounded the most. I don’t think both of you know what curfew means before you met me.” Da Young says jokingly.
Ji Min put her finger on her chins, thinki
