Evan sighed as he got up and walked straight towards the immigration counter before he could enter the plane which would take him back in Canada.

He strongly opposed the idea of being shipped back to Canada, but he as strong as his appearance might be, he could say no to his best friend who begged him for something, knowing that it could be the last thing his friend ask him for.

For five years, Evan has been the one who fought along with Kris for their dreams. Right at the first day of fashion school, Evan and Kris had clicked right away. The two of them are almost the same height, Canadian nationality, handsome, and definitely girls’ magnet. The only difference of them is Kris more quiet and mysterious while Evan is crazy and loud.

For the first year of their friendship, Evan only knew that Kris was used to be part of Kpop group EXO and nothing more. Evan wasn’t the person who pushed someone to tell more about themselves. He’s the person who would just wait until his friend feels ready to open up to him.

And that’s what happened to him. Kris opened up to him about what really happened to him which caused the broke up of EXO and how the four Chinese members went their separate ways. One thing Evan admires from his friend is his loyalty and love for s. He couldn’t even think if he would do the same as Kris if he was the one in his position. He admires and jealous at the same time for the tight friendship they have. He has always wanted it.

Evan will always remember Kris words. Although it’s only a simple sentence, but it holds a big meaning for him; for both of them, none knew better than themselves at how they struggled in school and worked under someone else before they have their own brand. Well, technically it’s Kris brand, but it’s the brand the two of them have been built from scratch. So, it’s their brand.

Kris has been feeling unwell for few weeks before Evan threatened him to do check up on the doctor. As hard headed as Kris is, Evan successfully dragged his best friend to the doctor before his departure back to Korea for his friend’s wedding.

It’s about a week or more, Evan found himself the call from the doctor about the result and Kris flew back to Canada for it. And it turned out to be brain tumor, which related to the accident he had five years ago which he almost lost his life.

Evan begged Kris to do the treatment, but Kris told everything about what he did in Korea and China. He wanted to reunite his brothers together and fixed their broken friendship to be one again. Evan understood that Kris misses his brothers so much, but he’s also mad at Kris who not caring about his health issue first.

“Health comes first, Kris. When you are healed, you can go fix your friendship. It’s not too late!”
