Jessica's POV

The first stirring chords of the song drifted through the room and caused me to open my eyes. The music floated over my body and I smiled, stretching as I rolled onto my back. The words began and I started to giggle.

Good Morning, Beautiful
How was your night?
Mine was wonderful with you by my side
When I open my eyes to see your sweet face,
it's a good morning, beautiful day!

I ran my fingers through my brown hair, fanning it out against the snow white of the pillowcase. I knew Taeyeon was watching me, probably from across the room. I used my other hand to push the comforter to the edge of the bed. I lay there in the red silk gown she'd bought me for my birthday earlier this year. My legs stretched out before me, toes pointed. The next words were ones that Taeyeon quoted to me often.

I couldn't see the light
Didn't know day from night
I had no reason to care
But since you came along
I can face the dawn,
'Cause I know you'll be there.
