Baekhyun’s POV

We’ll meet up here at 1 for lunch.”

“What should I get for Taeyeon? Should I get one for Chanyeol too?” I asked myself. I then spotted a stall selling scarfs. Maybe Mom would like one.

Don’t get me wrong, even though we’re rich, we still like simple gifts, besides it’s the thought that counts. As I walked to the stall, I heard girls shrieking behind.

“Omo, do you have a girlfriend, do you want to buy one for her?” The old lady at the stall asked. “No, it’s for my mum.” I replied. I saw her turned red in embarrasement. “I’m sorry, but we do have a great selection.” She apologized.

“It’s OK, this one is pretty.” I said picking up a black and white scarf that has a bit of glitter in it. It was also very soft. I bet Mom would love this. And my eyes moved to the scarf next to it, it was purple and blue blended together, Aunt would also like this. 

“I’ll have this 2 please.” I said. “It’s 20,000 won.” The lady replied packing it inside a bag. I gave her the money and thanked her. “Merry Christmas!” she wished.

The Christmas mood was really getting into me. People started putting Christmas lights up, children started singing carols. As I walked I saw Luhan hyung and Sehun walking together. I quickly turned.

 “Baekhyun stop right there.” Luhan commanded. *Oh sh*t*

“Hyung! You’re safe!” Sehun exclaimed. “Yehet!”

“Luhan hyung…..” I whispered. I thought he was ready to burst out any moment.

But he hugged me. “Thank God you’re safe.” He said.

Luhan hyung was in high school so I didn’t get to see him often, so as Suho, Xiumin and Kris hyungs. “Hyung, I want more bubble tea.” Sehun complained. I quickly pulled away the hug. “Aren’t you mad?” I asked. “As long you’re safe.” Luhan replied.

“Hyung! I’m not a baby anymore!” I exclaimed. “Sorry.” Luhan replied.

“Aren’t you coming home hyung?” Sehun asked. “Chanyeol is still mad at me right.” I asked. “Yes.” Sehun replied. “Maybe later.” I replied. “But you still have to come for our family’s Christmas gathering” Luhan pointed out.

“I guess I’ll see you  guys there then.” I replied. “Sure, don’t pressure yourself.” Luhan said. “Remember to text us hyung!” Sehun waved. “Sure!” I replied.

I still have 13 more presents to buy, not counting SHINee hyungs and aunt and uncle. Including Taeyeon and maybe even Seohyun. Which makes that 22 presents. Sighing I continued walking. I spotted a jeweller. I quickly went inside, I knew what to get. “I like to have 5 name customized bracelets.” I said.

“Sir, it would take at least 5 hours to get them ready.” The assistant said.

 “It’s OK, I’ll come collect them tomorrow.” I replied. “Sure sir, please write down the names here.” She instructed passing me a fill in form.

I quickly wrote down the names, Onew, Key, Jonghyun, Taemin and Minho.

“Thank you, please come collect them tomorrow morning, oh and can you please pay the deposit first.” She said.

“Sure.” I replied. I quickly paid and left.

I then remembered the paper and pen I left inside my pocket.

I quickly wrote the things I would get for my Dad and hyungs and dongsaengs, Seohyun and Taeyeon.

Dad – Book

Suho hyung – Book

Kris hyung – Some black sunglasses

Xiumin hyung – I guess I have to get him steamed buns

Lay hyung and Chen – An MP3 player

Luhan hyung – A Rubik cube

Chanyeol – *Man this is a tough yet easy one* A new hat

D.O – A plushie

Tao - *the easiest * probably some Gucci

Kai – A new puppy (Mum and Dad wouldn't mind) 

Sehun – Bubble Tea

Seohyun – Just some books

 Taeyeon - ?

It was almost 1 pm. I had to think fast. I heard somebody shouting, probably advertising. 

"Puppies for sale! 50% off discount!" The lady said talking into the microphone. 

Maybe I should get Taeyeon one! 

I quickly walked and saw just two puppy left. The lady spotted me, “Young man would you like to get one for your girlfriend?”

Why does everyone says I have a girlfriend?!

“No ma’am, it’s for my best friend and my brother.” I replied. “Well then, this is the two last puppy left.” She replied pointing to a black and white puppy. Both had really big eyes.

It’s so cute! I bet Taeyeon and Kai would love this.

“I’ll get both please.” I said. “I trust you’ll give them good homes.” The lady said. “I’ll give them the best.” I replied patting both of their heads. They barked in delight. “And since this is both 50% off discount, we’ll also give you 2 leads and dog food enough to last for a month.” She said.

“Thanks.” I replied. “Do you know how to care for one?” She asked.

“Sure, I have 2 dogs at home.” I replied. “That’s good.” She said.

“Thank you for giving them homes.” She added. “Thank you again and Merry Christmas!” 

My heart finally felt light and happy.
