I don't even know.
Some Nightswelcome back to my endless mind of random drabbles. its binhwan plus jundong. the world needs more jundong. i will lead the ing ship if i have to.
also can we talk about how perfect winner's new album is? like omg. baby baby is absolute perfection. and pricked. and i'm young. and sentimental. and immature. so basically all the songs are perfect. go listen to it if you haven't. you will fall in love.
Jinhwan babysits for his neighbors every Thursday and Saturday night. He doesn’t mind giving up his nights; the couple next door is nice and he could use the extra pocket money. Plus, their child is very sweet to him.
His name is Junhwe and he is seven years old; he already stands taller than most of his classmates with sharp eyes and puffed out cheeks that Jinhwan loves to pinch. Junhwe is always very well mannered towards him and never fights him on his orders of bedtime. It’s very easy to care for the child.
However, this all changes when he brings Hanbin over. Together, they’re working on a new song for their introductory composition class. Hanbin is studying to be a composer while Jinhwan works towards being a singer; they work well together.
That is when Junhwe isn’t bothering them.
He doesn’t get it; the young boy is usually so well behaved but when Hanbin comes over he becomes sassy and disobedient.
He figures it’s because Hanbin is still a stranger. So when Hanbin asks him out (and he says yes), he figures Junhwe will finally accept him as part of his life.
Spoiler alert: he doesn’t.
****
Hanbin can easily see that Junhwe adores Jinhwan. When they’re together, Junhwe climbs into Jinhwan’s lap and demands his attention. If Junhwe didn’t hate him, Hanbin would admit it was a pretty cute sight.
Junhwe is a pretty adorable kid; he still has lots of baby fat in his cheeks but he’s tall with dark eyes. He’s going to be quite the heartbreaker when he grows up. However, his attitude is abysmal. He constantly pushes Hanbin and stares blankly whenever the older boy tries to make small talk with the young child. He ignores everything he says if it doesn’t concern himself or Jinhwan.
Still, Jinhwan insists Junhwe is a good kid. To which, he would argue that
