A loud burp makes the entire three women laugh.

“ Ooops sorry” Soojin grinned at them. “Mrs. Hwang, you should teach Miyoung how to cook like these!”

“Unnie” Tiffany said with a quick pout.

She invited her manager SooJin to have dinner with them at their house.

“Thank you for inviting me over to dinner Mrs. Hwang.”

“Your welcome SooJin, you can come here anytime. It would be nice to have guest coming over here”

“Let's have ice cream, Unnie” Tiffany is already checking their fridge.

“Sure. umm Mrs. Hwang, let me do the dishes”

“No you don’t have to, I can take care of these and I believe Miyoung will have to say something to you.” She looked at her daughter.

“Oh right.” Tiffany bit her lip and  glance at her mother which nod at her to go to the living room.

“Let’s go to the living room Unnie”

They both plopped at the sofa and started to eat the ice cream.

“So what it is you wanted to tell me?” asked Soojin.

Tiffany decided to tell the truth about her and Taeyeon which the latter agreed.

“Ummm….Unnie please don’t be mad because I just tell you this now” she started.

“Hey, why so serious? What is it?”

“I’m dating someone right now.” She said while her eyes were glued on the ice cream, when she doesn’t heard any reply, she turn her look at her whose still busy eating.

“Your not mad right?”

“Why would I be mad!” Soojin laughed. “I’m actually glad that you are, it’s been a while since you’ve date someone. So how long you’ve been dating this guy? Do I know him? Is he an actor?” she asked non stop.

Tiffany smiled hesitantly when she heard the word “guy”.

“Well we’ve been dating for more than a year now.”

SooJin probably didn’t expect her answer and choked, coughing continuously.

“Omo, Unnie are you okay” she immediately went to the kitchen to get a glass of water and gave it to her as the latter drink it right away. She slowly rubbed her back and asked “Are you okay”

“I am” she put the glass on the table “thank you, I’m just surprised”

Tiffany moved back a bit.

“More than a year! You actually hide it for that long”

Tiffany nodded.

“It’s not that I wanted to hide it from you Unnie but we promised to each other not to tell it to anyone. I’m sorry”

“That’s why” she said.

She looks at her confused.

“So that’s the reason why there are times that you actually have to leave every time you receive a phone call and those kind of smiles that appears every time you checked your message. And also those times when you actually have free time but you’d rather stay in your house, Omo that’s when you sneak out for dates.” She exclaimed.

Tiffany felt her cheeks blushed like she just get caught.

“My favorite dongsaengs is in love” SooJin grinned “Whose the lucky guy?”

“Err…about that” Tiffany looked away.

“What?! Is he a celebrity too, don’t tell me your dating with Leewoo or that hot model?”

“No!  I am not dating anyone of them”

“So is he a private person? Business man?”

Tiffany  shook her head.

“Then spill it out” she said excitedly.

“She’s a celebrity”

“Oh celebrity wow” but then furrow her eyebrows when the word “she” finally sink in.

“You mean he” she said correcting her but she shook her head again.

“I am dating a girl” she whispered but knew that she was heard when she saw her jaw drop open and eyes grew wide in shock.

Tiffany covered her face with her palms, her manager is the first one who knows about that aside from her family. This is probably what Taeyeon’s felt when she told her about it. She was already expecting this but it still awkward when it actually happens. She felt her palms being tugged away from her face.

“Hey, why are you hiding like that? It’s okay I’m just really surprised I mean when did you start dating girls and I really hope your Umma knows about it.”

“She does and so Oppa”

“So how does she take it?”

“Umma was surprise at first but she loves me too much” she smiled this time “and Umma likes her too” she added.

“But I just want to clarify something Unnie. She is the only girl that I’ve been dating since then and I don’t think I will like other girls in that same way ever again.”

“Wait so you mean you are only attracted to her, just her but does it mean you still like guys”

“I still like guys in general but I love her Unnie.”

“Then who is this “only gir”  that makes you change your preference?”

“It’s Taeyeon”

“Taeyeon. Just like the famous Kim Taeyeon”

“It’s her Unnie” Tiffany chuckles at her facial expression.

“K-K-Kim Taeyeon, your dating Kim Taeyeon” Soojin stuttered and her eyes almost popped out of it socket.

Tiffany nods smiling.

“Oh my gosh, your that girl she’s dating with. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh” Soojin looks like she’s about to hyperventilate. She drinks the remaining glass of water.

 

“Your dating Kim Taeyeon” she stated again.

“Yes Unnie” she doesn’t know how many times Soonji confirmed that.

“Wow. Now I understand” she said after she calmed down.

“What do you mean?”

“About you liking a girl. I’ll ditch my boyfriend if Kim Taeyeon ask me out” she jokingly said.

“Unnie” Tiffany whined.

“Kidding aside, I am totally amazed how you two manage to hide it in public. I want to commend both of you”

“It’s not that easy but with a lot of effort and commitment we managed to stay together for this long” Tiffany smiled and Soojin saw the happiness at those eyes.

“I’m happy for you” she patted her head. “You should let me meet her okay”

Tiffany nods.

“So how did you two meet? When did you become official? And when…”

Soojin asked continuously and she couldn’t help but giggle, she was glad that she finally able to tell the truth.

Taeyeon decided to make Tiffany her favorite red velvet cupcake, and his manager Oppa suggest to do it on his pastry shop which she immediately agreed. The shop is already closed and she was in the kitchen busy making cupcakes. She heard the door open but she didn’t manage to turn around knowing that it is Chen.

“Oppa, you can leave me here. I’ll make sure to clean everything and locked your shop.” She said. Taeyeon turned around in an instant when she heard a giggle which is definitely not come from a man. There she saw Tiffany still giggling at her.

“What are you doing here?” she asked in surprised.

Even before Tiffany can answer, Chen made an entrance.

“I already locked up the door in the front, you two just used the back door when you leave! Here’s the key” he put it on the table.

 “I couldn’t reached your phone so I decided to call Oppa” Tiffany in.

Taeyeon now realized that she left her phone in her car.

“I have to go” Chen used the back door and the moment the door close, Tiffany squealed and tackled her with a hug.

“Miss me?” Taeyeon teasingly said when Tiffany pulled back a bit, the latter’s arms were still loosely wrapping around her neck.

“When did you have bangs again?”

“Just the other day! Do you like it?”

Tiffany nodded eagerly.

“It reminds me of the time we first met.”

“So do I look like a kid again?” Taeyeon asked jokingly.

“You always look and act like a kid but you” Tiffany paused and moved closer until their lips was just an inch apart “surely never kissed like one” she continued whispered in her so low husky voice and Taeyeon didn’t even hesitate and closed the gap between them.

They start kissing in a slow pace just nibbling each other lips. The kiss grew intense when Taeyeon’s tongue manage to slip in Tiffany’s mouth. The latter pulled Taeyeon’s head closer to deepen the kiss, Taeyeon lift her hands and cupped Tiffany’s cheek but the moment her hands touch her face, Tiffany pulled back.

“TaeTae” Tiffany pouted. She touch her own cheeks and felt the sticky dough.

Taeyeon laughed a little when she saw Tiffany’s face.

“Omo, I’m sorry” She immediately took some tissue and clean Tiffany’s face.

Taeyeon momentarily forget that her hands where full of sticky dough. She was still laughing while cleaning Tiffany’s face and couldn’t help but to peck those pouting lips.

“Done” Taeyeon throw the tissue away. Tiffany’s presence make her forget that she was supposed  to be baking cupcakes.

“What are you baking Taetae? Can I help you?” Tiffany said excitedly.

“It’s okay. I can manage” Taeyeon started to focus on her work.

“I’m not going to mess up, I promise”

“It’s not that Fany-ah, you see this was supposed to be my gift to you. I wanted to surprise you but then I guess I can’t anymore”

“Really? That’s so sweet Taetae, but why are you giving me a gift?”

“Well, this is like my way of congratulating you for your success movie and also thanking you for taking care of me when I was sick”

“oowwwwww” Tiffany cupped Taeyeon’s cheek “why are you being like this?”

Taeyeon smiled. “You like it”  She received a peck before Tiffany let go of her face.

“What exactly are you making?” Tiffany asked

“Your favorite, red velvet cupcake”

“Wow, can I help make designs later?”

“Sure, for now you can just watch and inspire me to make it more delicious”

Tiffany chuckles.

“What kind of logic is that Taeyeon”

Taeyeon just shrugged. Tiffany just watch Taeyeon going back to her task when an idea suddenly pop out in her mind. She moved from her place and  give her a back hug as she rested her chin on the other girl’s shoulder.

“Now I can watch and inspire you at the same time” said Tiffany.

Taeyeon just smiled.

After a while, Taeyeon closed the oven door and check her watch.

“Let’s wait for about twenty minutes” she walked to Tiffany who is now sitting on the kitchen counter.  She trapped the girl by placing her palms just at each side of Tiffany’s hip and nudged her legs apart to move her body in between them.

“So what do you suggest we can do while waiting?” Taeyeon smirked.

“Definitely not that one that’s in your mind Kim” Tiffany said and used her point finger to push Taeyeon’s forehead.

Taeyeon frowned and she’s about to pulled away when Tiffany s her arms around her neck.

“Where do you think your going?” Tiffany smiled.

“Why are you staring at me like that?” Taeyeon asked when Tiffany doesn’t speak for a minute and just stared at her.

“If anyone had told me that I would fall in love with a girl, I wouldn’t have believed that person.” Tiffany stated.

Taeyeon smiled and let Tiffany caress her cheeks lovingly while she put her arms around her waist.

“I didn’t know how this may sound to you but I’m glad that person leaves you because if not then I wouldn’t have the chance to have you”

“I thought I am the cheesy one in these relationship Miyoung” Taeyeon teased but her heart is really happy at what she heard.

“I’m glad that you gave us a chance and who would’ve thought that we could passed that one year mark and more than that I might add despite those circumstances” Taeyeon said seriously this time.

Hiding their relationship on public for that long is not easy but despite of their silly fights and gossips, they manage to stay intact and trust each other.

“I know you’ll be worth it and I wouldn’t do what she did, remember my promise that I’ll stay with you no matter what” said Tiffany.

Taeyeon nuzzled her face at Tiffany’s neck while the latter hugged her closer.

“I don’t think I can survive another heartbreak if I lose you” Taeyeon mumbled.

They stay in that position until a shrill ringing sound coming from the oven interrupted them.

“Taeyeon, I think our cupcakes are done” Tiffany said when Taeyeon is not moving on her spot.

“But I am very comfortable here” she nuzzled closer to Tiffany’s neck.

“Yah, but we have to finished it first” she gently pushed Taeyeon’s shoulder.

“Come on Taetae” she hopped on her sit and pushed Taeyeon towards the oven.

“Alright alright” Taeyeon chuckled.

“Checkmate”  Taeyeon grinned at her opponent who still quite surprise with her last move.

There in one of their colleagues rest house whose celebrating their birthday and most of them were busy drinking, she’s glad that one of them decided to play chess with her.

“No one can beat Kim Taeyeon, didn’t you know that she’s the president of their chess club” her Chen oppa suddenly appears.

“Really” he said surprised.

“Don’t believe him, his just exaggerating it” Taeyeon said.

Suddenly one of the guest switch on the T.V. on the sala.

“Guys,  I received a text that there’s an accident in Seoul involving the cast and stuff of  “Almost Love” the guy exclaimed.

Taeyeon felt her heart beat stop when she heard that. That was Tiffany’s recent movie.

The room became quiet and listen to the news.

“As you can see live in the video, press and fans were now outside the Seoul National University Hospital. To those who just watch this news, the cast and stuff of “Almost love” was on their way home from their celebration party when the accident happened. Based on the witnesses the actress “Tiffany Hwang” is the one whose badly injured since her car was the one whose directly hit by the truck before her own car hit other cars that following her. We still doesn’t know what exactly her condition is since the hospital tighten their security. We will update you as soon as we get new information”

Taeyeon was stunned at what she heard, it feels like her feet were glued on the ground.

“Taeyeon” she felt someone touched her shoulder and saw the worried expression of his manager.

“I I have to live now” Taeyeon run outside.

Taeyeon immediately ride on her motorbike but a hand took the key from her.

“Oppa what are you doing? Give me the key back” she almost shouted at him.

“You cannot leave in that state” he stated firmly.

“I have to go their, It’s Tiffany, Oppa” she was trying so hard not to cry. Her emotions were all in a mix that she doesn’t know what to feel but fear is the one that outstood the most. She couldn’t lose Tiffany, not in this way.

“I’ll drive you there, we’ll use my car” he said.

Chen spent the whole ride to the hospital trying to calm her down. It is probably the longest one hour drive in her life. She was trying to contact Tiffany’s mom but she couldn’t get through.

She pushed away all the negative thoughts that circling on her mind about Tiffany’s condition and snap on her thoughts when she noticed that the car is not moving.

“Why aren’t we moving Oppa?” she looked outside and noticed that they were stuck in traffic, she could almost see the hospital. Without hesistation, she unbuckled her seatbelt and step out of the car. She ignored when his manager called her to get back inside the car, there’s only one thing on her mind and that’s to see Tiffany.

She run fast and decided to go at the back entrance of the hospital but she slow down a bit when saw that there still some media and fans trying to get inside. Someone finally notice her and they all turn their attention to her. She ignored the stare and the calls and rushed inside the hospital. She knew that they all wondering what is she doing there but that is the last thing she wanted to worry right now.

She went to the information desk and asked one of the receptionist. “I’m here for Tiffany Hwang. What’s her room number?” she was still slightly panting because of the running.

“How are you related to the patient?” the receptionist asked.

Taeyeon didn’t know how to answer for a moment. She unconsciously clenched her fist.

“I’m a friend of her” she muttered while gritting her teeth.

The receptionist looked at her apologetically. “I’m sorry Ms. Kim but only relatives and bosses of her agency are allowed to see her for now”

She clenched her jaws and fists to control her emotions. She knew this could happened if only they knew then it wouldn’t be… Taeyeon gulped, she could feel her eyes glistening but she held it in.

“Taeyeon”

Taeyeon turn her head when she heard her name being called and saw Tiffany’s manager and noticed the puffy eyes and messy shirt. She didn’t know if she would be relieve when she saw her but there was some blood stained on her shirt.

“She’s with me” she said to the receptionist. “Follow me Taeyeon”

Taeyeon walked to her side and silently followed her. She wanted to asked a lot of question but she knew that if she said a word, she would just end up crying.

“She’s still in the emergency room. She was driving her own car when the accident happens. It-it was a last minute decision from her, she was supposed to join her co-actors in the van but she insisted….” The next thing that Taeyeon hears was a muffled cry. She gulped really hard, they made a turn in the hallway and saw her co-actors and some stuff.

She ignore the surprise and confuse stare she receive from them. That’s when she saw Tiffany’s mom who immediately hugged her upon seeing her.

And also the time when she finally broke down. It’s like the gate from her eyes opened and the dam of tears fall down continuously, she cried hard on Tiffany’s mom shoulder.
