Unexpected - Last Part

:: Flashback ::

“Pretend to be my boyfriend”, Yoona said.

“Mworago?”, Yuri exclaimed in shock.

“You heard me, don’t you? So, I don’t have to repeat myself”, she said sternly.

Yuri facapalmed himself as he felt remorse for asking the latter to help him. He couldn’t retract his decision because he was in a desperate attempt to make Hayoung believe that he already has a girlfriend. He heaved a euphoric sigh, and he forced himself to nod his head in agreement. Her sly smile creeping across her face, makes Yuri sighed once again.

“You’re so mean, Im Yoona. I used to help you once, and this is what I got”, he said in frustration.

“Excuse me? I didn’t ask you to save my life at the first place. And, just now you’re the one who begged me to do this dirty job, now you’re blaming me, Kwon Yuri?”, she said as she raised her voice.

“Urghh.. I hate you, Im Yoona!”, he groaned in frustration. He took one shot of tequila and drank it. He crumpled his face once its sensational taste seeped through his vessels.

“Come on, Yuri, chill will you? Just let’s start this game, and we are going to back to our normal life once it’s done, okay?”, Yoona said as she patted on Yuri’s back. For the umpteenth time, he heaved a sigh.

“Arasso. Just tell me what is your plan”, he said. Yoona started to tell her plan on how Yuri should act as her fake boyfriend. There’s several times Yuri shook his head as he disagree with her suggestion, but after Yoona threatened him for not helping him in return, he finally relented.

“I just realized you are actually more cruel than the hitman, you know”, he said sarcastically.

“Yah!”, she exclaimed as she smacked his arm hard.

“Oww! It hurts, you… urghhh!”, he grunted while caressing his sore arm.

“Serves you right! Who told you to equate me with the hitman, huh?”, she snapped at him.

“The way you planned, it seems like one though”, Yuri said as he chuckled. Yoona shoot an icy glare at him. Yoona’s glare turn into smirked as soon as she saw Taecyeon walked towards their direction.

“Speaking of the devil, here he comes”, Yoona said while signaling Yuri with her eyes. Yuri turned his head to look at where her eyes directed to.

“So, shall we start our game now, Kwon Yuri?”, she asked smilingly. Yuri just let out a sigh.

“Ara.. ara.. moved!”, he replied as he asked Yoona to move a bit as to give him a space to sit next to her closely.

“Put your arm around my waist, palli!”, Yoona ordered him. Yuri was a bit hesitant at first, but he finally complied on what Yoona has instructed with a heavy heart.

“For the sake of my peaceful life”, he thought. He then saw Taecyeon walked closer to their table.

“Yul baby, I felt sleepy. Can we just go home now? We can have a sleepover at your place tonight”, Yoona said as she started her acting. Yuri suddenly felt his heart beats faster with Yoona’s body was so close to his, and the way she acted right now, makes him felt nervous since he never have this kind of lovey-dovey act with any girls in his entire life.

“Oh, wow! I didn’t know Yuri ssi is your newfound lover, Yoona”, he said with a surprise look on his face. Yuri didn’t know whether Taecyeon really mean it, or he just played along as he couldn’t read on what was written on his face at that time.

“Yeah, sorry because you got to know about it in a place like this”, Yoona said as she smirked.

“Jeongmal?”, Taecyeon said while laughing amusingly. “Well, congratulations, you two! I hope he's not cheating on you just like on what I had done to you before. But, at least I did not cheat on you outright, dancing and flirting with hot rich chicks in the same club”, he said as he chuckled.

“Darn it! Did saw me dancing with Hayoung just now?”, Yuri said as he mentally slapped himself. He could see smoke coming out from Yoona’s ears as she felt embarrassed and humiliated with Taecyeon's sarcastic remarks.

“Ok Taecyeon! Better you keep yourself far away from me right now if you don’t want to be killed by me with my bare hands in this club tonight!”, she snapped at him.

“Woo.. woo.. chillax, will you? I just tell you the truth, right Yuri ssi?”, Taecyeon said with a sly smile while glancing at Yuri.

“Errr.. ermm..”, he stuttered as he lost for words. He slowly retrieved his arm from Yoona’s waist. Yoona couldn’t stand anymore, and she immediately got up and ready to pounce Taecyeon, but she failed to do so as Yuri quickly grabbed her wrist.

“Let me go!”, she yelled as she struggled to release herself from Yuri. Glad that other people didn’t notice on their little drama since everyone is busy with their own activities.

“Yoona, calm down, will you?”, Yuri exclaimed while still gripping her wrist. He then turned to look at Taecyeon.  "Taecyeon ssi, I appreciate if you could leave us alone here. Please, I don't want any of us creating a chaos here since both of you are celebrities", Yuri said in pleading.

“Okay, okay!”, Taecyeon replied while raising his both hands. “I’ll see you around, Im Yoona”, he said while smirking before leaving both of them.

“Get the yourself out of my life!”, she yelled again. Yuri felt slightly embarrassed as there were few people near them were shocked with her yelling while staring weirdly at them. Without thinking much, he quickly hugged the angry Yoona to calm her down. He smiled apologetically to the people around them, and quickly dragged Yoona to the secluded area at the club.

“Yoona, please, control yourself”, he said while rubbing her back, trying to soothe the latter. Yoona breathing rapidly, and she slowly restrained herself from getting angry. But her temper raised again whenever she thought about what had happened earlier.

“That damn ing Ok Taecyeon! I should killed him earlier! After what he had done to me, he still have a thick face to say that to me. He will root to hell!”, she said in angry tone. Yuri just shook his head, and just when he realized he was still hugging her, he quickly pulling off the hug.

“Yoona ah, I know you’re still angry at him. But, try to control yourself, okay? This is the public area. What if the reporters are still in here and found out about what had happened just now? It will ruin your reputation later”, he said.

“I don’t give a ing care about my reputation!”, she exclaimed. Yuri heaved a sigh, and took Yoona’s hand, caressing it gently.

“Yoona ah.. jebal. If you don’t care about anything, just think about your family's good name, okay?”, Yuri said. Yoona suddenly laughed.

“Family? Who’s my family? For your information, Kwon Yuri, I don’t have a family. So, don’t try to talk about things you don’t really know, okay?”, she replied sarcastically. Yuri just relented, not wanting to argue with her more.

“Alright, whatever you said, Im Yoona. Just let’s find your manager, and you can leave this place. Kaja!”, he said as he pulled Yoona’s hand, and led her to walk back to the bar. The latter just followed suit. They were almost reached at the bar when Yuri suddenly stopped walking.

“Oh, crap!”, he mumbled in panic. Yoona stop walking too, and turned to look at Yuri.

“What?”, she asked curiously. She then looked at where Yuri’s eyes were directed to. She saw the girl who danced with him earlier was sitting at the bar’s stool while drinking. She slowly smirking while looking at Yuri.

“Wanna continue with our game, Kwon Yuri?”, she asked with a sly smile.

“H-huh?”, he gasped.

“You did well when helping me out just now. So, want me to help you this time?”, she replied. Yuri was dumbfounded.

“Don’t act dumb, Yuri. Let’s finish our game right now. Kaja!”, she said as she took turn to lead Yuri to the bar. Both of them were standing next to Hayoung.

“Yul baby, can you order me drinks?”, Yoona purposely said it out loud as she sneaked her arm around Yuri’s waist. Yuri flinched, but Yoona quickly poked his waist with her finger while mouthing to Yuri to start his act.

“Y-yes, babe”, he said as he pulled the stool for Yoona to sit. Hayoung who heard on what Yoona has said earlier immediately turned to her left side, and was surprised to see Yoona and Yuri were next to her while acting lovey dovey in front of her. She felt her heart crushed.

“O-oppa?”, she said as she stood up from her seat.

“O-oh, Hayoung ah, what are you doing here?”, he asked as he pretended to be surprised.

“I just want to have some drinks here. And, is this Im Yoona ssi, am I right?”, she said.

“Yes, this is Im Yoona. You know her, right?”, he replied while glancing at Yoona.

“Of course I know her, oppa. B-but, why are you guys together?”, she asked in curious.

“Oh, he’s my boyfriend, of course we need to be together, right baby?”, Yoona quickly answered.

“Errr.. y-yeah, heheh..”, he said as he chuckled awkwardly.

“Jinja? Oh, okay”, she replied in a sad tone.

“Assa!”, Yoona cheered in her thought.

“Ermm.. I-I think I need to go now. My dad must be looking for me”, she said as she grabbed her handbag.

“Oh, you’re leaving? We just about to ask you to join us”, Yoona said.

“It’s okay, Yoona ssi. Maybe next time”, Hayoung replied with a faint smile. “I’ve got to go now. I-I’ll see you later, Yoona ssi, oppa”, Hayoung said as she bowed slightly to them, and immediately walked away, leaving the bar with a broken heart.

“That was easy”, Yoona said as she sipped her drinks which Yuri ordered for her earlier. Yuri who sat next to her facepalmed himself, and slowly letting out a sigh.

“I’m sorry, Hayoung ah”, he thought. He then took a sip of his drinks.

“I think she must felt heart broken right now. So, consider you win this game of yours, Kwon Yuri”, she said as she smirked, and took another sip of her drinks.

“Whatever you said, Im Yoona”, Yuri said nonchalant, and took another sip of his drinks.

“There you are, boss! We’ve been looking for you”, Hyuna said as she walked towards the bar with GD and Taeyang with her. Both of them were startled.

“Boss?”, Yoona said as she turned to look at Yuri. Yuri just smiled weakly.

“Oh! Im Yoona ssi! You’re here too? Nice to meet you!”, Hyuna said  excitedly as she bowed to her.

“Nice to meet you too”, Yoona replied with a smile.

“Yoona ssi, can we take a picture with you? We are your fans”, Hyuna said while giving her pleading look.

“Yeah, sure”, Yoona agreed, not wanting to disappoint her fans. Hyuna cheered happily while hand over her phone to the bartender, asking him to take picture for them.

“Hana, dul, set, smile!”, the bartender said as he immediately snapped the picture of them. Hyuna raised her index finger, asking the bartender to take the picture one more time before he handed back the phone to her.

“Gomawo, Yoona ssi. It’s really nice to meet you”, Hyuna said as she hugged the latter. Yoona was startled with the sudden hug.

“You’re welcome”, she said, returned the hug.

“Alright, guys. Let’s go home now”, Yuri said as he got up from his seat, and handed several banknotes to the bartender. He then dug his pants pocket, and walked closer to Taeyang.

“You guys wait for me at the car, I need to send Yoona ssi to her manager”, Yuri instructed him as he handed his car keys to Taeyang.

“Okay, boss. Guys, let’s go!”, he said while grabbing both GD and Hyuna arms.

“See you later, Yoona ssi!”, Hyuna said as she waved at her before leaving the bar. Yoona just waved at her back in return. Yuri then walked closer to Yoona.

“Shall we go now?”, Yuri asked.

“Yeah, sure”, Yoona replied, and got up from her seat. Without he realized, he grabbed her hand, and led her to the place where the stage was located.

“Yoona! I was looking for you. Where have you been?”, Chunyeon asked. Yuri quickly released her hand from his grip, and heading to where Sooyoung and the rest of his friends were sitting.

“Hey, guys!”, he greeted them.

“Hey, Yul. Where have you been?”, Sooyoung said as he got up from his seat.

“Oh, I met my old friend in here, and we just have our catching up at the bar”, he replied as he lied.

“Jinja? Hey, that's great to meet your old friend back, right?”, Sooyoung said.

“Yeah”, he replied. “Buddy, I have to excuse myself first. I need to send my staff home. I’ll see you guys later, okay?”, he said as he hugged Sooyoung and bid him goodbye.

“Sure, buddy. Thanks for coming for tonight’s event. Look forward to work with you again later”, Sooyoung replied as he returned the hug. He then took turn to bid each and everyone of his friends goodbye. He then turned to walk to the exit door, and was surprised to see Yoona was still there, standing still while looking at him.

“Yoona? Why are you still here? I thought you’ve already heading to home”, he said soon after he approached Yoona.

“I.. I just want to thank you for helping me to get rid of Taecyeon earlier”, she said hesitantly. Yuri let out a smile.

“Nah, it’s just a small matter. Besides, you’re helping me too, right? So, I think we’re even now”, he replied. He then looked at her surrounding, furrowing his brows.

“Where’s your manager?”, he asked.

“I asked him to wait for me at the car park”, she replied.

“Oh, jinja? So, shall we walk to the car park now? Because my staffs are waiting for me too”, he said as he stood beside her.

“Y-yeah, sure. Let’s go”, Yoona replied. Both of them started to walk together, heading out of the club.

“Where’s your car?”, he asked soon after they reached at the car park.

“Over there”, Yoona replied as she pointed at the black MPV which located a bit far from Yuri’s car.

“Let me walk you there”, he said as he started to walk.

“It’s okay, you don’t have to”, Yoona replied.

“It’s already late, Yoona ah. I just want to make sure you reached at your car safely”, he said as he insisted.

“Okay”, she said as she complied, and both of them started to walk, heading to Yoona’s car.

“Alright. I’ll see you later, Yoona ah. Good night!”, he said soon after they arrived in front of Yoona’s car.

“Yeah. Good night!”, Yoona replied. Yuri then waved at her, and was about to start walking when suddenly Yoona called him.

“Yuri, w-wait!”, she said as she grabbed his arm. Yuri turned at his back, and looked at her in confused.

“Wae?”, he asked. Yoona then leaned closer, and pecked on his cheek.

“T-thanks”, she said as she released her hand from Yuri’s arm, and quickly get into her car. The car then slowly moved, leaving the car park, and leaving Yuri dumbfoundedly. Yuri then brought his hand to his cheek, and caressed on the spot which Yoona has pecked earlier. He felt a sudden heat on his face, and his heart beats faster.
