Sulking

 

Today is the last day of stay for YoonYul and Chunyeon family in Hong Kong. They took the chance to do their last shopping before they return to Seoul on tomorrow. They went shopping together to buy some souvenirs for their respective family and relatives.

 

YoonYul and Chunyeon family went shopping separately at the shopping mall, and they promised to meet back at the one of the fast food restaurant there during lunch time later.

 

“Honey ah, have you decided on what you’re going to buy for Daddy, Mommy, Hyukjun oppa and his family?”, Yoona asked. Yuri scratched his head while thinking of what to buy for his family. He suddenly stopped in front of the duty free shop which sell some souvenirs.

 

“Can we go inside, jagiya? I want to see if there’s anything nice to buy for them and for your Daddy”, he said.

 

“Yeah, sure honey”, Yoona replied as she put her hand on Yuri’s back and gently pushed him to enter the shop.

 

“Appa.. appa!”, Kwon Junho said while pointing at the shelf where Mickey Mouse plush toys have been placed the moment they entered the shop.

 

“Aigoo.. he did it again. How many Mickey Mouse plush toys you wanna buy, Junho ah? Let’s buy something else, okay?”, Yuri said to his little boy who was sitting inside the stroller. Junho ignored on his father’s words as he kept pointing on that plush toy. Yuri smacked his own forehead, causing Yoona to laugh at him. Yuri playfully massaging his temple.

 

“I can’t help you this time, honey ah. Who taught our son to love Mickey Mouse, huh?”, she said teasingly. Yuri sighed and squatted down while he looked at his son. Junho just stared at his Appa’s face blankly.

 

“Arasso. Just only one, okay? This is the last one”, Yuri said as he showed his index finger to his son. Junho who seemed to understand on what his father said just nodded his head.

 

“Good boy. Come, let’s choose which one you want to buy”, Yuri said as he picked up his son from the stroller and carried him in his arm. Yoona just shook her head smilingly, and grabbed the stroller’s handle to push it inside the shop.

 

“I think I want to buy this miniature double decker bus model for Janghyuk”, Yuri said while looking at the said item to his wife. Janghyuk is Hyukjun’s son. Yoona was about to reply to him when suddenly Junho called his father again.

 

“Appa, appa!”, little Junho said while pointing at the miniature double decker bus model. Yuri looked at Yoona while raising his brows in surprise, and his wife covered while laughing.

 

“Junho ah. You want this too?”, he asked his little boy.

 

“Ne”, the little boy replied while nodded his head.

 

“Andwae! You have already got your Mickey Mouse plush toy. No more toys for you”, he said firmly to his son. Junho pouted as he was in verge of crying. Yoona smiled while walking towards them and leaned closer to kiss her son’s cheek.

 

“Baby, Appa have already bought so many toys for you at home. This is for Janghyuk hyung. Yours is Mickey Mouse plush toy, okay?”, Yoona said softly to him.

 

“Otay”, he replied. But then he suddenly wiggled his body while stretching out his arms, wanting Yoona to carry him. Yuri widened his eyes in surprise.

 

“What the.. yah! Did you sulking because Appa did not buy that bus model for you, Kwon Junho?”, Yuri asked as he handed his son to Yoona. Junho just nodded his head before he buried his face in Yoona’s neck. Yoona chuckled as she felt amused watching the father and son small quarrel. She found it cute .

 

“Oh God! From whom did he get this kind of attitude?”, Yuri dramatically said as he facepalmed.

 

“From you, of course!”, Yoona replied teasingly.

 

“Chincha? I was like that before?”, he asked his wife in curious.

 

“Don’t you remember? You were once like that when we were on our third official date. You was sulking because I suddenly had to cancel our date just because there’s changes in my photo shooting schedule. You was sulking for the whole day and locked yourself inside your studio until Hyuna had to become our peacemaker”, she said with a smirk. Yuri just chuckled awkwardly and sighed in defeat.

 

“Arasso. I have to admit that this cheeky little boy of yours got this kind of attitude from his cheeky father”, he said while ruffling his son’s hair, causing Yoona laughed.

 

“And, these two cheeky boys completes my life”, Yoona said while giving a peck on Yuri’s lips and Junho’s cheek. They laughed at their words as they continued with the shopping activities.

Flashback

 

It’s already been a month since Yuri and Yoona become a couple. They only had a chance to go out for official date twice since both of them were busy with their respective schedules and work. Both will exchanged text and phone calls every day if they didn’t get to see each other.

 

Today was supposed to be their third official date since Yoona told Yuri that she got a free time. Yuri was so excited and he had planned yesterday to take a leave as he wanted to spend the whole day with his girlfriend. He got up early to fetch Yoona from her place, and they will have their breakfast together on that morning.

 

“RING! RING! RING!”

 

“Yoboseyo?”, Yoona answered the call.

 

“Hey, babe. I’m already at downstairs”, Yuri said.

 

“Okay, I’m taking the elevator to downstairs right now. See ya!”, Yoona replied.

 

“Alright. See ya!”, he said before he ended the call.

 

“Going out for date again, Mr. Kwon?”, Mr. Lee, the security guard asked while glancing at the bouquet of flowers on the reception desk.

 

“Err.. y-yeah, ahjussi”, Yuri replied, smiled sheepishly while rubbing at the back of his head. Mr. Lee just smiled while looking at the latter.

 

“Take a good care of her, will you? She has been suffered a lot before. Just make her happy, okay?”, Mr. Lee said, advising the young man in front of him like a father.

 

“I will, ahjussi. I promise”, Yuri replied as he smiled reassuringly.

 

“DING!”

 

The sound which came from the elevator startle the two men whose eyes were immediately stared at the elevator's door. The elevator’s door slowly opened, revealing a tall and slim beauty queen who walks so gracefully towards the reception desk, wearing a gorgeous smile.

 

“Happy dating!”, Mr. Lee whispered to Yuri, causing the latter to giggle.

 

“Hey, sorry for making you waiting”, Yoona said as she approached to Yuri and gave him a bear hug.

 

“No problem, babe. I just arrived anyway”, Yuri replied and kissed on her cheek. Yoona smiled sheepishly as Mr. Lee was there, staring at them with a smile. She immediately pulled off the hug, and bowed to the older man.

 

“Annyeong, ahjussi”, she greeted him.

 

“Annyeong, Miss Im. Just pretend that I’m not here”, he said, causing Yuri laughed, and his girlfriend blushed.

 

“Ermm.. we have to go now, ahjussi. It’s nice to meet you again”, Yuri said as he and Yoona bowed to him and grabbed the flower bouquet which he put on the reception desk earlier. He entwined his hand with Yoona’s.

 

“Have fun, kids!”, he replied as he waved his hand at them, ushered the loving couple to go. Both YoonYul chuckled on his words and slowly walked away from the reception desk, heading to Yuri’s car.

 

“This is for you, babe”, Yuri handed to her the flower bouquet as soon as they reached at Yuri’s car.

 

“You don’t have to do this every time we go out, Yul”, Yoona said as she took the flower bouquet from Yuri’s hand.

 

“I want to. So, you don’t have to complain after this, arasso?”, he replied, and quickly opened the car’s door for Yoona. She just rolled her eyes and immediately got in the car. Yuri chuckled and rushed to the driver's side to get in the car. He leaned closer to give a kiss on Yoona’s lips.

 

“I miss you”, he said. Yoona smiled and patted his cheek gently.

 

“I miss you too. Turn on the car's engine now before my stomach is getting upset”, she replied while giving an order to the latter.

 

“Aishh.. why do I get a shikshin girlfriend?”, he mumbled softly before he the car’s engine.

 

“What did you say just now, Kwon Yuri? Are you complaining now?”, Yoona said while glaring at the latter.

 

“A-anni. Im Yoona, saranghae!”, Yuri replied nervously while quickly put his both hands on top of his head as he did a love sign to Yoona.

 

“Kaja!”, she ordered Yuri to start driving the car with her straight face while crossed her arms like a boss.

 

“Yes, ma’am!”, Yuri playfully salute her before he started to drive the car, causing Yoona to giggle softly.

At the cafe

 

Yuri decided to bring his lover to their usual favorite cafe, where the owner providing private space at the rooftop for customers who wanted to have a privacy. Customers need to make reservations in advance by phone before they came to have their breakfast, lunch or dinner over there.

 

“After you, madame!”, Yuri said as he opened the car’s door for Yoona.

 

“Thanks”, Yoona thanked her while she went out of the car. Yuri then locked the car door and stretched out his arm to be linked by Yoona.

 

“Kaja!”, he said. Yoona then linked her arm through Yuri's, and they began to walk towards the cafe’s door.

 

“Welcome!”, the waiter welcomed them with a smile. After Yuri informed him about the reservation he made earlier, the waiter then led YoonYul to the rooftop and straight away to their reserved table. Being a gentleman, Yuri pulled the chair for his girlfriend, and she sat on it while thanking the latter with a smile.

 

“You’re most welcome”, he replied and sat on his chair. The waiter then laid the menu on the table for them to choose on what they wanted to eat for breakfast.

 

“Just order what you like to eat, arasso?”, Yuri said. Yoona nodded with a smile as she started to look at the menu.

 

“Erm.. I would like to have chicken soup with garlic bread, turkey sandwich, and banana muffin for dessert. And I would like to have orange juice for drinks. That’s all”, she said to the waiter.

 

“Dae”, he jotted down the order. “How about you, Mr. Kwon?”, he then asked Yuri.

 

“A black coffee for drinks, and I would like to have the same, turkey sandwich. That’s all”, Yuri said.

 

“Dae”, the waiter nodded as he took back the menu from the table, and bowed to them before he left.

 

“Are you on diet?”, Yoona asked Yuri, furrowing her eyebrows.

 

“I’m not. I just can’t eat much during breakfast. Unlike you”, he replied as he teased the latter.

 

“Sarcastic much, huh?”, Yoona said while glared at the latter. Yuri just giggled as he got up and brought his chair to sit close to her.

 

“Sorry!”, he said and grabbed Yoona’s hand, entwined with his. Yoona stuck her tongue out at the latter, and slapped his thigh hard. Yuri grimaced in pain.

 

“I might end up sleeping on the hospital bed tonight if you continue hitting me like this, babe”, he said teasingly.

 

“Say that once again, no more lunch and dinner with me today”, she replied warningly.

 

“Ara, ara.. aishh!”, he said annoyingly causing Yoona to giggle. Yuri who didn’t mind as he had already getting used with ‘not-so-violent’ treatment he got from Yoona then put his arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer to him. Yoona just smiled and leaned her head on his shoulder. They just stayed like that as they were enjoying view of Seoul city from the rooftop while waiting for the breakfast set to be sent to them later.

 

“Excuse me, Mr. Kwon, Miss Im. Your order”, the waiter’s voice suddenly being heard, causing them startled. They immediately distance themselves and Yuri went back to his earlier spot. The waiter then started to place the food and drinks on the table.

 

“Kamsahamnida!”, both YoonYul thanked him in unison.

 

“You’re welcome, Mr. Kwon, Miss Im. Please enjoy your breakfast”, he said as he bowed before he left.

 

“Jal meokkesseumnida! (I will eat well!)”, they chorused before started eating their food.

 

“Hmm.. the food here always tastes delicious”, Yoona said while munching her turkey sandwich. Yuri smiled on her words.

 

“Of course, though. The chef here is my friend. That is why I recommended for us to eat here on our first date, and you eventually fall in love with their food here, right?”, Yuri replied after sipping his black coffee.

 

“Yeah, you’re right. My favorite is the chicken soup. I should ask your friend on how to make it until it taste delicious like this”, she said as she scooped some soup with a spoon and put it into .

 

“You want to meet him?”, he asked his girlfriend which earns a nod from Yoona. “Sure, babe. I will check with him on when he will have a free time, and you should check on your schedule also, okay?”, he said.

 

“Chincha? Thank you, honey!”, Yoona thanked him excitedly while hugging his arm.

 

“What did you call me just now?”, Yuri purposely asked, causing the latter got panicked.

 

“N-nothing”, she quickly replied. Yuri raised his brows and slowly smirked. “I like that. You should call me with that starting from now on, though”, Yuri said teasingly causing Yoona blushed and her hand automatically slapped his arm. Yuri just laughed and smiled at her. The YoonYul couple then continued eating their breakfast while chatting on random things and teasing with each other.

“Want to go for a walk at Yeouido Park before we grab a lunch?”, he asked soon after they entered inside Yuri’s car.

 

“Yeah, why not?”, Yoona replied with a smile.

 

“Alright! Yeouido Park, here we go!”, he exclaimed excitedly while raising his hand.

 

“Dork!”, Yoona snickered while smacked on his thigh. Yuri just laughed while he started drove the car, heading to the next destination.

 

After a forty minute drive, finally they arrived at Yeouido Park. While Yuri was busy parking the car at the parking space, suddenly Yoona’s phone rang. She quickly fished out her phone from handbag, and looked at the phone screen.

 

“Chunyeon oppa?”, she mumbled as she quickly slide the phone screen. “Dae, oppa. What’s up?”, she answered the call.

 

“Yoong ah, Mr. Park called me just now. They had changed your photoshoot schedule to this afternoon at 2:30”, Chunyeon said. Yoona furrowed her brows as she clearly doesn’t like the news she received just now. But, what she can do? It’s part of her job anyway. Yuri who seemed noticed on the change on her face expression mouthed “who” to her.

 

“Chunyeon oppa”, she mouthed to him back. Yuri nodded understandingly.

 

“Wae, oppa?”, she asked. She glanced at Yuri, and the latter gestured himself to wait for her at outside the car. Yoona just nodded with a faint smile while watching him got out of the car.

 

“Mr. Park told me the company wanted to speed up their product launching before public holiday next week. We don’t have a choice but to follow their plan, Yoong ah”, Chunyeon replied as he explained the situation they had to face at the moment.

 

“Ugh.. I really hate this! I have planned to spend my day with Yul today, oppa”, Yoona said with a disappointed tone.

 

“Yoong ah, Yuri will understand after you explained to him. Can you do that, please?”, Chunyeon replied, begged. Yoona let out a long sigh before she responded.

 

“Arasso. Like I have a choice, right?”, she said.

 

“Thank you, Yoong ah. Just text me your location, I will pick you up”, he replied.

 

“No need, oppa. I will ask Yul to send me there”, she said.

 

“Arasso. I’ll see you there. Bye Yoong!”, Chunyeon replied as he bid goodbye to her.

 

“Dae, oppa. Bye!”, she said as she ended the conversation. She put the phone back inside her handbag, and slowly opened the door to get herself out of the car. With a heavy heart, she closed the door and walked towards Yuri.

 

“Is everything okay?”, Yuri immediately asked as soon as Yoona approached him. He could see her gloomy face a bit the moment she approached him.

 

“Yeah”, she replied as she let out a faint smile. She slowly took Yuri’s hand and entwined with hers. Yuri was surprised with her sudden action. Usually it’s him who always initiated to do that first, not Yoona. Yuri’s gaze glued at their entwined hands.

 

“Let’s go for a walk, okay?”, she said, causing Yuri startled.

 

“Huh? D-dae”, he stuttered, but then he just followed suit when Yoona pulled his hand and started to walk from the parking space.

 

They walked down the riverbank of Han until Yoona saw a bench. She stopped walking, causing Yuri to stop too.

 

“Wae?”, Yuri asked.

 

“Can we sit there for a while?”, Yoona said while pointing at the bench that was facing the beautiful scenery of the Han river.

 

“Yeah, sure”, Yuri replied. Both of them then walked towards the bench and took their seat over there. They sat close next to each other, and Yuri wrapped his arm around Yoona’s shoulder. Yoona automatically leaned her head on his shoulder and grabbed his hand, playing with his fingers. She let out a sigh before she started to speak.

 

“Yul ah, I have something to tell you, but promise me you will not get mad at me, okay?”, Yoona said, causing Yuri furrowed his brows as he could sense that there’s something happened after Yoona’s manager called her just now.

 

“Arasso. What is it?”, he replied.

 

“Chunyeon oppa told me just now. My photo shooting schedule has been changed to this afternoon because the company wanted to speed up their product launching before public holiday next week. So, Mr. Park the photographer had to change the schedule”, Yoona explained.

 

“So, you have to cancel our lunch and dinner date today, right?”, Yuri replied as he quickly understood the whole situation. Yoona quickly lifted her head from his shoulder, and looked at Yuri.

 

“Dae. Mianhae, Yul ah”, Yoona said as she apologized. She felt guilty for not be able to spend her day with Yuri because of the sudden change on her work schedule. Yuri on the other hand felt disappointed, but what else could he do? He was expected this situation would happen, but he didn’t know why he couldn’t accept it today as he was so looking forward to spend the day with his girlfriend. He just let out a faint smile and tried to hide his disappointment.

 

“It’s okay. We can always have our date next time”, he said as he looked at his wristwatch. “It’s already 12:30. So, kaja! Let me send you there”, he was about to get up, but Yoona suddenly holding his shoulder.

 

“Yul ah, are you mad at me?”, Yoona asked while looked straight into his eyes. Yuri was surprised at first, but he shook his head, and tried his best to show his smile to her.

 

“I’m not, babe. Like I said earlier, we can always find the time for our next date. Don’t worry, okay?”, he said as he patted gently on Yoona’s cheek. Yoona suddenly leaned closer and kiss his cheek. Yuri who was caught off guard at that time widened his eyes in surprise with the kiss.

 

“Thank you, Yul honey!”, she said she hugged him. Yuri couldn’t help but to smile and return the hug.

 

“No problem, babe. Alright, let's go before we caught up with traffic jams later”, Yuri replied as he pulled off the hug and stood up. He pulled Yoona’s hand to help her to get up from the bench.

 

“Kaja!”, Yoona exclaimed as she was in a good mood. She was so afraid that Yuri will get mad at her earlier, but her heart now was at ease knowing Yuri doesn’t mad at all.

 

The YoonYul couple then immediately leaving Yeouido Park, heading to the photo shooting place.

“Urghh… why she didn’t pick up the call?”, Yuri grunted. It was the 10th call he made to his lover, but all of the calls only went into the voice message inbox. He just wanted to know on what time the photo shooting will end, so that he can fetch her and probably brought her to have a late night supper. He was so worried Yoona would not taking any meals since she was so focused when she’s working. Moreover, it’s already past twelve midnight.

 

“Yah, Im Yoona! What’s wrong with your phone, huh?”, he exclaimed as he felt disappointed the 11th call also went into the voice message inbox. He ruffled his hair in frustration and throw his phone on the couch. He slumped himself on the couch.

 

“Aishhh.. why are you so stupid, Kwon Yuri? You can call Chunyeon hyung, though!”, he mumbled as he smacked on his own forehead, and quickly took his phone from the couch. He quickly dialled Chunyeon’s number. After several ringing, finally Chunyeon answered the call.

 

“Yoboseyo?”, he said.

 

“Hyung, it’s me, Yuri”, Yuri replied.

 

“Oh, Yuri ah. I just sent Yoona home. She asked one of the photo studio staffs to call me to pick her up earlier. Her phone battery died and she forgot to bring the charger. I think by this time she’s already went to sleep. She looked tired earlier”, Chunyeon said as he explained the whole situation to Yuri. He knew Yuri will call him since he couldn’t reach Yoona by phone.

 

“Chincha? Gomawo hyung. Thank you for sending her home”, Yuri replied and thanked him.

 

“No problem, Yuri ah. I’m sorry that you guys have to cut short your date today. Our client suddenly changed the schedule, we can’t do nothing”, Chunyeon said.

 

“It’s okay, hyung. I understand. Sorry for troubling you again. Good night, hyung!”, Yuri said as he bid goodbye to him.

 

“Good night, Yuri”, he replied and ended the call. He put his phone on the coffee table and laid down on the couch.

 

“Aishh.. Im Yoona. Glad that you already reached home safely. I hope you have already taken your dinner before you go to sleep”, he mumbled before he slowly dozed off.

The next morning

 

“Annyeong”, Yuri greeted his PA soon after he entered his office.

 

“Annyeong, boss. You look so gloomy this morning”, Hyuna said as she followed Yuri walked into his room. Yuri put his belongings on the desk, and slumped his body on the chair.

 

“Waeyo, oppa? Is everything okay?”, Hyuna asked as she took her seat in front of Yuri’s desk. Yuri slowly sat up straight.

 

“Hyuna ah. I’m going to spend my time at the recording studio. Tell GD and Taeyang to be there in ten minutes”, he gave his order to Hyuna. She furrowed her brows, feeling weird with his sudden mood change this morning. He doesn’t look cheerful as always.

 

“Oppa, remember you can share everything with me. Is it because of Yoona ssi? You guys have a fight?”, she asked as she tried to dig out his problem. Yuri let out a sigh.

 

“It’s not like that, Hyuna ah. Please, let’s not talk about this anymore. Just get the two boys to get ready, arasso?”, he replied.

 

“Arasso, oppa”, Hyuna said in defeat as she got up from her seat. She doesn’t want to be nosy because she knew Yuri wasn’t in a good mood today. She went out of the room and started to call GD and Taeyang to gather at the recording studio.

“KNOCK! KNOCK!”

 

“Annyeong haseyo!”

 

The office door slowly opened, revealing the person who was knocking the door earlier.

 

“Yoona ssi! Please come in!”, Hyuna said and quickly got up from her seat. She walked towards Yoona and grabbed her hand, slowly pulling her to walk towards the couch.

 

“Annyeong, Yoona ssi. Please have a seat”, Hyuna invited her to sit on the couch.

 

“D-dae. Gomawo, Hyuna ah”, Yoona thanked her as she immediately sat on the couch.

 

“Do you want me to get any drinks?”, Hyuna asked. Yoona shook her head.

 

“It’s okay, Hyuna ah. I came here to meet Yuri. Is he inside?”, Yoona replied as she pointed at Yuri’s room. Yoona used to come to Yuri’s office once when Yuri drop by to get something he left at his office room.

 

“Ermm.. boss was inside the recording studio since this morning, Yoona ssi. He seemed like not in a good mood today. He also told me that he doesn’t want anyone to disturb him today”, Hyuna told her.

 

“Chincha? He told you like that?”, Yoona asked. Hyuna just nodded. Yoona let out a faint smile before she started to speak.

 

“I know he was mad at me”, Yoona said, lowered her head. Hyuna furrowed her brows.

 

“Yoona ssi, if you don’t mind, can I know why?”, she asked. Yoona let out a sigh.

 

“Just call me Yoona, Hyuna ah. No need to be so formal”, she said, causing Hyuna to giggle.

 

“I should call you Yoona unnie, though. You’re two years older than me”, Hyuna replied smilingly.

 

“Oh, chincha?”, Yoona said in surprise. “I thought we are in the same age you know”, she continued.

 

“Hehe.. people often mistaken me as I looked older than my actual age. The fact is that I’m still 23 years old, unnie”, she replied with a giggle. Yoona couldn’t help but to smile on her words.

“So, mind to share with me on what’s going on between you and my boss until his mood suddenly drop today?”, she asked.

 

“Aishh.. I didn’t know he can be childish like this. I thought he could understand me well, you know”, Yoona replied, sounded really disappointed.

 

“Wae, unnie? Is it something to do with your work schedule?”, Hyuna asked again.

 

“At first I thought it was the main reason. We supposed to have our date for the whole day yesterday, but suddenly I got a call from my manager, and he told me that my photo shooting schedule has been changed on yesterday afternoon. Yuri looked a bit disappointed at first, but after I explained him everything, he seemed like could accept it”, Yoona told her.

 

“I see. But then, what’s the problem?”, Hyuna asked as she still couldn’t understand the whole story.

 

“He tried to call me many times last night. I have to work until midnight, but suddenly my phone battery died, and I forgot to bring the charger. So, I couldn’t return his call, and this morning when I tried to call him, he didn’t answer my call. I called my manager to ask him whether Yuri had called him last night, and he said he did call him, and he had already explained the real situation. So, judging from that, I think he was still mad at me because I didn’t return his call. My manager also told me that he asked him about me. I know he really care for me. But, I hope at least, he could understand more about me and my job. That’s all I want from him”, Yoona replied with a disappointed face. Hyuna scooted closer to her and patted on her back.

 

“Yoona unnie, I have been working with Yul oppa almost five years, and he treated all of us here like his own family member. We knew him well, unnie. You know he never fall in love with any girls before he met you. You’re his first love, of course the feeling of insecurity always clouded his mind. I’m not expert in love thing, but I have learned a lot from my friends. People say that, if you really love someone, you should put your trust in him/her. I think Yul oppa is having a trust issue. He need to trust you more, and vice versa. You guys should talk about it heart-to-heart soon, okay?”, Yoona said, giving her some advice.

 

“Aigoo.. I agree when people said you’re mature, Hyuna ah. You are more mature than me and Yul, you know”, Yoona replied, causing Hyuna chuckled on her words.

 

“You’re right, Hyuna ah. Maybe he has a trust issue and he felt insecurity because of what had happened between me and my ex-boyfriend before. My social life used to be very uncontrollable, and after I broke up with my ex-boyfriend because I found him cheating on me with another girl, I almost took my own life. Yuri was the one who saved me, and he helped me to get back on my feet, and gain my strength back to continue my life. Yuri then eventually fall in love with me, and he never gave up to make me fall in love with him. After I eventually falling in love with him, I was hoping that he could accept me as for who I am, and love me wholeheartedly”, Yoona said. Hyuna smiled as she took Yoona’s hand, and caressed it gently.

 

“Yoona unnie, don’t worry. Yul oppa love you wholeheartedly, you know. He always shared his story about you and him with me and I always advised him to treat you well. He never had any experience of love life before, so maybe his action sometimes a bit childish. Please be patient with him, okay?”, she replied as she tried to soothe the latter.

 

“Gomawo, Hyuna ah. Ermm.. can you please tell him that I just drop by here? I don’t want to disturb him when he’s working”, Yoona said as she got up from the couch.

 

“Sure, Yoona unnie. Don’t worry, okay? I will make sure to scold Yul oppa until he say sorry to you”, Hyuna replied with a grin.

 

“Aigoo.. no need to do that, Hyuna ah. Anyway thank you so much for lend your ears to me. You’re really a great friend, Hyuna ah”, Yoona said.

 

“No problem, unnie. Just let me know if you need someone to talk to. I’m always here for you and Yul oppa, unnie”, Hyuna replied. Yoona leaned forward to give her a hug.

 

“Unnie, hwaiting!”, she said to Yoona as she patted on her back, causing the other girl chuckled.

 

“Thank you once again, Hyuna ah. I’ll see you later!”, Yoona said as she bid her goodbye.

 

“See you later, unnie!”, Hyuna replied as she sent the latter to the door, and went back to her desk.

Later on that night

 

“RING! RING! RING!”

 

“Yes, Kwon Yuri? You still remember your girlfriend’s number, huh?”, Yoona sarcastically said as she finally answered the call after several ringings.

 

“Mianhae”, Yuri replied.

 

“I’m still mad at you, Yul. I thought we have discussed this matter earlier, right?”, Yoona said in a straight tone.

 

“I know. Mianhae. Hyuna had told me everything. She even scold me and smacked at the back of my head for being so childish and stupid”, Yuri replied, causing Yoona cupped , tried to hold her laughter. She cleared before she began to speak again.

 

“Serves you right! Who told you to ignore my calls and my presence at your office this morning?”, she said. There’s a long pause in their conversation, causing Yoona wondered on what was going on with him.

 

“Yah! Kwon Yuri! Answer me!”, she exclaimed, but couldn’t help to feel worried towards the latter.

 

“I am in front of your apartment’s door right now. Can you please quickly open the door for me?”, he said. Yoona didn’t answer him as she quickly walked out of her bedroom and ran towards the door. The moment the door was opened, she was surprised to be greeted by a big flower bouquet in front of the door with Yuri was kneeling down while holding the flower bouquet.

 

“Mianhae, babe”, he said. Although she was still mad at him, by looking at Yuri’s effort to seek an apologize to her causing her heart melted right away, and the fact that they have to cut short their third date causing her to feel guilty and missed him more.

 

“Aishh.. get up right now!”, Yoona said as she took the flower bouquet from his hands.

 

“Babe, can you please help me to get up? I think my legs got cramp”, Yuri said while grimaced in pain.

 

“Oh God! How long have you been kneeling down here, huh?”, she asked as she put the flower bouquet on the floor and pulled Yuri’s hands to help him to get up from the floor.

 

“A-about half an hour ago. I was actually contemplating whether to call you or not. But when I remembered of what Hyuna had told me before, I dared myself to call you. Mianhae, babe”, Yuri said nervously as he lowered his head. Yoona couldn’t help but to smile after hearing his explanation.

 

“Aishh.. let’s get inside!”, she said as she pulled his hand and dragged him to enter inside her apartment.

 

“T-the flower!”, he exclaimed as Yoona quickly bent down to take the flower bouquet. After she closed the door, she placed the flower bouquet on the coffee table, and pulled Yuri’s hand to make him sit on the couch.

 

“Yoong ah, am I forgiven?”, he asked soon after Yoona sat on the couch next to him.

 

“As much as I’m still mad at you, Kwon Yuri, I want you to promise me one thing”, she said while crossed her arms, and looked at Yuri sternly.

 

“O-okay. Anything, babe. I promise”, he replied still sounded rather nervous. Yoona let out a sigh before she started to speak.

 

“Promise me that no matter what happen after this, I want you to put your trust on me, and never doubt me, arasso?”, she said sternly.

 

“Arasso. I promise”, he replied as he put his hand on his chest.

 

“Good. I’m not doing this for myself only. I will do the same as to make it fair for our relationship, understand?”, she said.

 

“Yes, I understand ma’am”, he replied, causing Yoona to shoot an icy glare at him.

 

“I’m serious here, Kwon Yuri”, she said with a warning tone.

 

“D-dae. I understand”, he replied nervously.

 

“Good, because if we are not trusting each other, then there’s no point for us to make this relationship works. I want us to have a very healthy relationship without any doubt, arasso?”, she said.

 

“Arasso. I’m sorry once again, babe. I promise I will never doubt you, and always put my trust on you first”, he said as he smiled faintly as he finally realized his mistake.

 

“Good. Come here!”, Yoona said as she opened her arms wide, wanting Yuri to hug her. Yuri leaned forward and hugged her tight.

 

“Mianhe. I love you”, he said. Yoona couldn’t help but to feel fluttered with those three words he said to her just now.

 

“I love you too. Now you’re forgiven”, she said she pulled off the hug. Yuri then cupped her face and leaned forward to kiss her lips. While they were kissing, suddenly Yuri’s stomach growled, causing Yoona to pull off the kiss and laughed. Yuri couldn’t help but to laugh too.

 

“I’m sorry. I’m still not having my dinner yet”, he said while pouting.

 

“Aigoo.. I know you’re sulking with me. Do you have to skip your meals just because of that? So childish!”, she replied as she flicked his forehead.

 

“Oww! Yah! Are you really love me or not? Why are you always hurting me?”, he whined as he rubbed his sore forehead. Yoona just chuckled as she leaned forward to kiss his forehead.

 

“There! Alright. I’m going to the kitchen to cook you some ramyun. Meanwhile, can you please take the flower bouquet and put it on the empty vase next to the cupboard? Thanks, honey!”, Yoona said as she instructed him to do so. Yuri got up from the couch and salute her enthusiastically when he heard she called him ‘honey’.

 

“Yes, ma’am!”, he said, causing Yoona chuckled and shook her head while she walked towards the kitchen.
