Unexpected - Part 2

:: Flashback ::

“Y-yuri?”, Yoona said as she was in shocked. She never expected that will meet Yuri again in such circumstances.

“She knows you?”, Sooyoung whispered at Yuri. He didn’t know what to reply to Sooyoung at that moment since he was still in shocked.

“I’ll explain to you later”, Sooyoung whispered at him back.

“Ah, Yoona ssi. Let me introduce you to Kwon Yuri, the song composer for the CF”, Taeyeon introduced Yuri to her.

“Hello, Yoona ssi!”, Yuri said with a smile as he held out his hand to shake hands with Yoona.

“H-hello!”, Yoona replied as she smiled awkwardly, hesitantly shook her hand with Yuri. She quickly pulled her hand from Yuri's, and stood beside Chunyeon.

“Alright, since everyone is here, can we start now?”, Sooyoung said while looking at all of them.

“Yeah, sure”, Wooyoung replied, while Taecyeon never left his eyes from staring at Yoona since then, making the latter felt uncomfortable. Yuri noticed on it, but he took a mental note that Yoona doesn’t want him to meddle in her business anymore, so he just ignored her. But, he failed to do so as he still concerned towards the poor girl.

Taeyeon then walking towards the small stage that has been set up in the middle of the club, and took the microphone from its stand before he started to speak.

“Ladies, and gentlemen. May I have your attention, please?”, he said. All guests then stop talking and doing their things, and focusing their attention on the stage.

“Thank you for coming to the pre-launching party. We feel honored to become the producer of the commercial film, and this is our first biggest CF project we’re involved since then. We also would like to thank Lotte Corporation for giving us such opportunity in making the commercial film for their company. Before we continue, let’s watch the CF first”, Taeyeon said. All eyes were directed at the large white screen located next to the small stage.

Then the image of Yoona, Taecyeon and other models appeared one by one, and shifted from one location to another until the last scene where both of them having an intimate moment dancing and hugging each other during the party. Yuri secretly glanced at Yoona, and he saw Yoona was fidgeting while looking at the scene. She seemed uncomfortable, and immediately turned her head to other direction until the scene ended. All guests applaud soon after the CF ended.

“Alright, the event will continue with the presentation of CD replicas from Mr. Choi, CEO of Star Agency to Mr. Oh, CEO of Lotte Corporation, followed by a photo session with the team involved in this CF project. We're please to invite Mr. Choi and Mr. Oh to come to the stage”, Taeyeon said, and both of them then immediately walking to the stage. After completing the event, they continued with the photo session.

“Thank you once again for coming to the event, and please enjoy yourself with the refreshments provided over there”, Taeyeon said as he ended the event. All guests then gradually headed to the table where the refreshment had been placed.

“Babyyy.. aww.. you looked so hot being an MC for tonight”, Tiffany praised her boyfriend soon after he approached her at the bar. She pulled Taeyeon by the arm, and pecked on his cheek.

“Thanks, babe”, he replied while sneaking his arm around Tiffany’s waist.

“Where’s Sooyoungie?”, Jessica asked Taeyeon while tilting her head and her eyes wandering around the crowd at the stage area.

“Oh, he’s still with the CEO of Lotte Corporation. He said he will join us soon”, he replied.

“Haishh.. I’m so want to smack his head for leaving me alone here”, she grunted.

“Yah, Jung Sooyeon! What did you say? Alone? Then who we are? Ghosts?”, Tiffany sarcastically said. Her words causing Taeyeon, Amber and Krystal bursting out into laughter.

“Just shut up, Hwang Miyoung!”, she replied, shooting an icy glare at her best friend. Tiffany just rolled her eyes annoyingly.

“Alright, alright. Calm down, girls. Let me get you guys some drinks, okay?”, Taeyeon offered.

“Hyung, can I join you?”, Amber said, releasing his arm from Krystal’s waist. Krystal tried to pull his arm, but she failed to do so as Amber already walking towards Taeyeon.

“Yah, Amber Liu! Just stay here!”, Krystal exclaimed.

“Gosh! What happen with the Jungs tonight?”, Tiffany mumbled as she shook her head.

“I heard you, Hwang!”, Jessica said sternly.

“Amber, come, let’s go!”, Taeyeon said as he pulled Amber’s arm, leaving the girls at the bar. Amber just followed him heading to the refreshment table.

Yuri was busy talking with other guests when suddenly someone approaching him.

“Yuri oppa?”, the person said. Yuri immediately turned to look at the person. He gasped.

“H-Hayoung?”, he said in surprise while looking at the girl. He excused himself from the guest, and walked closer to the girl.

“What are you doing here?”, he asked.

“Oh, I accompany my daddy to come here”, she replied. Yuri happened to know Hayoung since both of them attended the same high school. Hayoung had a crush on him, but Yuri just think of her as a sister to him, not more than that.

“Your daddy? Who’s he?”, he asked.

“The one who’s talking to Sooyoung oppa”, she said while pointing her index finger at Sooyoung and Mr. Oh.

“Mr Oh is your daddy? Wow, what a small world!”, he replied.

“Dae”, Hayoung said while giggling. The club DJ then started to play the slow jam music, and some of the guests slowly heading to the dance floor. Hayoung watching the guests dancing with their respective couple. An idea suddenly popped up on her head.

“Ermm.. o-oppa. D-do you want to dance with me?”, she said nervously.

“M-mwoh?”, Yuri replied in shocked. Hayoung tried to brave herself asking Yuri to dance with her once again.

“I said, do you want to dance with me?”, she repeated. Yuri flinched, didn’t know what to answer. Hayoung noticed on Yuri’s hesitancy, suddenly smiled weakly.

“It’s.. it’s okay oppa if you don’t want..”, she was about to continue to speak when suddenly Yuri cut her off.

“Yeah.. I..I would love to”, he replied. He felt sorry for her as he noticed on her disappointment face. Hayoung’s eyes lightened up soon after she heard Yuri’s answer. Without thinking, she grabbed Yuri’s hand, and practically dragged him to the dance floor. Yuri gasped, but he just blindly following the girl to the dance floor.

“H-Hayoung ah, I-I don’t think..”, Yuri was about to say something when suddenly Hayoung took his hands, and put both of them on her waist, while she put her hands on Yuri’s shoulders.

“Alright, oppa. I’m sure you know how to dance, right?”, she asked. Yuri who was still surprised with Hayoung’s sudden boldness just nodded his head. Both of them started to dance in sync.

Yuri just blindly followed the dance steps as his mind was deep in thoughts. He really wanted to escape himself from the uncomfortable situation which he had been trapped, but he helplessly could do so. He doesn't want to hurt Hayoung’s feeling, moreover she was the daughter of his best friend's client, so, he tried his best to entertain her.

“Oppa, gwenchana?”, Hayoung asked as she noticed Yuri was spacing out. Yuri startled.

“Y-yeah, I’m okay”, he replied with a smile.

“We can stop if you’re tired”, she said in concern.

“It’s okay, Hayoung ah”, Yuri replied, and smiled in assurance.

“Arasso”, Hayoung said, and both of them continued to dance until the slow jam music ended, and the DJ then changed the music to techno dance music. Both Yuri and Hayoung then leaving the dance floor, and walking towards the bar.

“Oppa, do you want to sit over there? We can have drinks while chatting”, she suggested.

“Haish.. should I follow her or not?”, he was debating to himself.

“Ermm.. I’m sorry I can’t, Hayoung ah. I need to check on my colleagues since I came with them using my car. I need to send them home later”, he reasoned, trying not to make her feel offended.

“Oh, jinja? Okay then”, she replied with a disappointed face. Yuri then took his wallet from his pants pocket, and took out his name card.

“Here, this is my card. You can call me then, and maybe we can have drinks together some other time”, Yuri said as he handed the name card to her.

“Jinja? Oh, gomawo oppa!”, Hayoung brightened up, and gleefully took the name card. Yuri couldn’t help but to smile.

“Alright, I’ll see you later!”, Yuri said as he held out his hand to shake hands with Hayoung. Instead of shaking hands, Hayoung grabbed Yuri’s hand, and pulled him into a hug. Yuri’s eyes widened in surprise. He’s frozen.

“Glad that we could meet again, oppa”, Hayoung said before she pulled off the hug.

“Y-yeah”, he replied. “I-I’ll see you later”, he replied. Hayoung waved her hand at Yuri before she walked towards the bar.

“What the hell? Haishh.. I better do something about her”, he mumbled. He was about to start walking when suddenly he heard someone’s talking behind him.

“Girlfriend, huh?”, the person said. Yuri immediately turned his head to look at the source of the voice. He gasped.

“Huh? Y-yoona? A-aniyo. She’s not my girlfriend!”, Yuri raised his voice, which makes the latter giggled.

“Relax, will you? I’m not going to interrogate you. Not my business anyway”, she said as she rolled her eyes. She was about to walk towards where her manager was sitting when suddenly Yuri grabbed her wrist.

“What the..”, she grunted while looking at her hand.

“Yoona.. c-can I buy you drinks? I mean, can we talk?”, Yuri sounded desperately.

“Mwoh? You want to talk about what?”, she asked, raising her brows while trying to release her wrist from Yuri’s grip. Yuri noticed on it, and quickly released her wrist.

“Ermm.. can we have a sit over there?”, Yuri said while pointing at the vacant table at the corner of the club, near the bar. Yoona squinted her eyes while looking at Yuri, and slowly let out a sigh.

“Okay, make sure it better worth my time”, she replied snobbishly. Yuri just rolled his eyes, and then led her to the table.

“Please have a seat first. I’m going to order your drinks. What would you like to have?”, he asked.

“Just get me tequila shots, that’s all”, she replied.

“Arasso”, Yuri immediately headed towards the bar to order their drinks.

“Hey, y. Can I join you?”, a voice suddenly interrupted her. She turned to look at the source of the voice. She flinched after knowing the owner of the voice.

“Just get out of my sight, Taec. I don’t have a time for you”, she said while rolling her eyes annoyingly. Taecyeon just laughed, and sat next to her.

“Aww.. that’s harsh! Wanna playing hard with me?”, he said as he tried to put his arm around Yoona’s shoulder, but the latter quickly yanked her arm, makes him chuckled.

“Ehemm!”, both Yoona and Taecyeon startled, and immediately looked at the person.

“Oh, Yuri ssi! It’s nice to meet you again. Wanna join us?”, Taecyeon said as he sat up straight.

“Taecyeon ssi! Nice to meet you again too”, Yuri replied with a faint smile. Yoona noticed on Yuri’s unpleasant face, immediately pulled Yuri’s hand to sit next to her. Yuri gasped, but he just complied, and sat on the small couch.

“Sorry, Taec. We’re in the middle of having discussion before you came here. So, will you please excuse us?”, Yoona said with a stern voice. Taecyeon smirked, and immediately got up from his seat.

“Arrasso. Sorry for disturbing you guys. I’ll see you later, Yoona!”, Taecyeon replied, and winked at her. Yoona just shoot her icy glare at him, and curled up her fist. Yuri noticed she seemed tense at that time. He just sat still, didn’t dare to move or say anything. He just could wait the latter to calm down herself. Not long after the waiter came with a tray of drinks, and placed it on the table.

“Thanks!”, Yuri thanked the waiter. He just nodded his head smilingly before he left. Yoona immediately took the shot, and drank it. She crumpled her face, and put the glass back on the table. She then took another shot, and drank it. Yuri felt worried while looking at her.

“Err.. Y-yoona, are you okay?”, he asked in concern. Yoona just raised her hand, indicating that she was okay. Yuri rubbed his neck nervously when Yoona took another shot, and drank it.

“Yoona, please don’t drink too much”, he said while looking at the latter. Yoona just chuckled.

“I’m okay, Yuri. Don’t worry. So, what is it so important that you want to talk about?”, she replied. She stared at Yuri with her eyes half closed. Yuri scratched his head, contemplating whether to tell the latter or not.

“I.. actually I need a favor from you. I hope you don’t mind”, he said nervously.

“Just tell me what is it”, Yoona replied impatiently.

“Err.. ermm.. c-can you please.. can you please pretend to be my girlfriend?”, he asked which caused Yoona’s eyes widened in shock.

“Mworago?”, she said. Yuri flinched from his seat, as he hesitantly repeated his words.

“C-can you please.. pretend to be my girlfriend? Please?”, he half begged. Yoona then covered before she burst into laughter.

“What the hell in the world you want me to pretend to be your girlfriend, huh?”, she said, still laughing. Yuri felt embarrassed, and shifted his gaze on the floor.

“I.. I just want to get rid of someone”, he replied.

“Jinja? Who? Is it the girl that you have a dance with just now?”, she bombarded him with question.

“How did she know about that?”, he thought.

“How.. how did.. nevermind.. yes.. she’s the one”, Yuri replied. Yoona then chuckled.

“Tsk.. tsk.. poor girl. She looked pretty, and rich too. Why are you want to get rid of her?”, she shook her head.

“Yoona, I’m glad if you don’t ask me why. Just, please, help me?”, he begged her.

“Ara.. ara.. but..”, she paused. Yuri patiently waiting for her to continue to speak.

“But, with one condition”, she said. Yuri’s eyes brightened as the latter finally agreed to help him.

“Anything”, he replied smilingly.

“You must do the same for me”, she said. Yuri scratched his head again, tried to understand on what she meant.

“Do the same?”, he asked. Yoona nodded her head vigorously.

“Pretend to be my boyfriend”, she said.

“Mworago?”
