Unexpected - Part 1

:: Flashback ::

Two weeks later

Early in the morning, at Yuri’s apartment

“Kimbap, check!”

“Tuna sandwich, check!”

“Caesar salad, check!”

“Alright, last one”, he mumbled while looking for a flask to fill in the coffee that he just made earlier. He then walked towards the kitchen cabinet, and opened the upper cabinet. He saw a medium-sized silver flask, and took it out of the cabinet. He carefully poured the coffee into it. After done with the coffee, he put the flask into the small basket, together with the food container which he put all the food inside earlier.

“Okay, everything is settled!”, he exclaimed excitedly, feeling satisfied with his work. He got up early in the morning today just to prepare the food and drinks, things that he seldom did. He’s actually felt sorry for his team member since they have been working so hard all this while. They are going to be working all out together this morning. Yuri owns a recording studio, and today they need to finish their recording song projects for several commercial film, including the one that he received from his best friends company, Sooyoung and Taeyeon. The recording need to be done by this afternoon because SooTae invited him and the team to their pre-launching party at one of the most famous nightclub in Gangnam district tonight.

“Okay, you can do it, Kwon Yuri. Kaja!”, he said to himself while taking all the stuffs together before leaving the kitchen, and heading to his studio.

It’s been two weeks since he didn’t hear any news from Yoona.  After he sent the food to the latter on that night, Yoona had never contacted him. So, he assumed that Yoona doesn’t want any disturbance, and he just carried on his life as usual.

“Good morning, guys!”, Yuri greeted his team cheerfully soon after he entered his small office.

“Good morning, boss. Wow! You brought food for us today?”, Hyuna, his personal office assistant said.

“Yeah. Did you still remember last time you ever complain to me that you didn't have time to eat at work?”, Yuri replied as he put the basket on the desk. Hyuna just grinned while walking to the desk.

“Ah, that’s very nice of you, boss!”, Taeyang said while getting up from his chair, and walked towards the desk where Yuri put the basket.

“No problem, guys. Taeyang, can you please call the others to join us for breakfast here? I need to arrange this food on the desk. We can eat first before starting our work today”, he said with his hands quickly make the work.

“Sure, boss!”, with that, Taeyang immediately went out of the office, and heading to the recording studio. Yuri doesn’t have many employees, only six persons including the three of them. G-Dragon and Taeyang working as his co-producers, while the other two were the sound engineer and technician.

“Let me help you”, Hyuna said, offering her hands to help Yuri arranging the food and drinks on the desk.

“Thanks, Hyuna ah. I hope you will like the food and drinks that I’ve prepared”, he replied.

“You prepared all these, boss?”, Hyuna asked in surprise. Yuri just nodded his head smilingly.

“Wow.. jinja, boss?”, she asked, still in disbelieved.

“Yah, what do you mean? You think I can’t cook?”, Yuri exclaimed annoyingly while putting his hands on his hips. Hyuna just laughed at her pissed boss, but she knew, Yuri really didn’t mean to get angry. He just like to tease his team members.

“Anniya, it’s not like that. It’s just, I was surprised to know that you prepared these for us. Kamsahamnida, boss!”, Hyuna said as she felt moved. Yuri just smiled after hearing her words.

“It’s not a big deal after all. I just want to appreciate your hardworking in making this small company successful. You guys are basically my left and right hands, and without both, I’m not going anywhere”, he replied humbly.

“Aww.. that’s very sweet of you, boss!”, Hyuna said while wiping her fake tears, which makes Yuri laughing on her dorky act. Suddenly Taeyang and another two team members entered the office.

“Boss, GD said he will join a bit late. He need to finish some lines before he forgot”, Taeyang said.

“Arasso. Just leave some food for him, okay? Alright, let’s eat!”, Yuri said as he poured the coffee into paper cups. They started to eat the food while chatting on random things.

Meanwhile, at Yoona’s apartment

“RING! RING! RING!”

“Urghhh!”, Yoona groaned as she felt pissed whenever her sleeping being disturbed. She pulled the cover, and blindly reaching for her phone which she usually put on the nightstand. Once she found it, she grabbing the phone and lazily answered the call without looking at the phone screen.

“Yoboseyo?”, she weakly said with her eyes still closed.

“Yoong, good morning! I just want to remind you about tonight’s event. I will pick you up at 7:00, okay?”, her manager reminded her.

“Huh? W-what event, oppa?”, she asked in confusion.

“Haishh.. this girl! I told you not to forget about the event!”, he grunted. “You need to attend the pre-launching party of your new CF with Taecyeon, though!”, her manager said. Yoona flinched when he mentioned about Taecyeon’s name. If she could, she doesn’t want to meet her ex-boyfriend again since she still couldn’t forget for what he had done to her. But, since she’s already signed the contract, she had no choice but to comply with whatever she needs to do. She let out a sighed.

“Okay, okay. I got it”, she replied nonchalant.

“Good. Just wear anything nice. Okay, I got to hang up now. So, see you at 7:00!”, her manager said as he ended the call.

“Yeah, see ya!”, she replied, and pressed the end button. She threw her phone on the bed.

“Out of so many people in this world, why must be him? Arghhhh..!”, she yelled in frustration while ruffling her hair.

Later on that night, at Club ELLUI, Gangnam

Sooyoung and Taeyeon were standing near the main entrance, busy welcoming their guests. Both of their girlfriends, Jessica and Tiffany were sitting at the bar, enjoying their drinks while chatting. Not long after, Jessica’s baby sister, Krystal arrived with her beloved boyfriend, Amber. Both of them were the final year student at Seoul University, and have been invited by Sooyoung and Jessica to attend the party.

“Oppa!”, Krystal greeted Sooyoung excitedly and hugged him.

“Hey, Krys!”, Sooyoung said and return the hug. “Hey Am! Thanks for coming, guys!”, he released the hug and shook hands with Amber.

“Thanks, hyung!”, Amber replied. Both of them greeted Taeyeon with the same manner since they knew each other well through Sooyoung and Jessica.

“Krys, just bring Amber and go straight to the bar. Sica unnie was there with Fany unnie”, Sooyoung said to Krystal.

“Arasso, oppa. Come, baby. Let’s go!”, Krystal replied as she grabbed Amber’s hand, and entwined their hands together, walking towards the bar. Jessica and Tiffany were busy chatting until they didn’t realize that Krystal and Amber approaching them. She gestured Amber not to say any words as she wanted to prank her sister.

“Unnie!”, Krystal exclaimed as she back hugging her sister.

“Omo! Yah!”, she was shocked with the sudden act, and her hand accidentally slapping hard on Krystal’s arm.

“Oww! Unieeee….”, Krystal cried in pain, and immediately pulled off the hug. Amber and Tiffany just chuckled while looking at Jungs antics.

“Who told you to do that? Serves your right!”, Jessica snapped at her.

“Oww… babyyyyy!”, Krystal whined while showing her red and sore arm to Amber. Amber just laughed and gently pulled her hand, and kissed it.

“There”, he said, and slowly released Krystal’s hand.

“Aww.. what a sweet boyfriend of yours, Krys!”, Tiffany squealed in excitement. Amber smiled as his face flushed being teased by Tiffany.

“Haishh.. this brat! Come here!”, Jessica pulled her baby sister’s hand and hugged her.

“I missed you, unnie!”, she pouted, hugging her sister tight.

“I miss you too, baby”, Jessica said while kissing on Krystal’s cheek. She pulled Krystal to sit next to her. “Ermm.. sorry Am, I want to borrow your girlfriend for awhile”, Jessica said to Amber. He just chuckled on her words.

“It’s okay, noona. I will go and mingle around with other pretty girls down there”, he said teasingly.

“Yah! Amber Liu, don’t you dare!”, Krystal exclaimed and smacked on his arm. Jessica and Tiffany just laughed at Krystal’s possessiveness towards her boyfriend. Amber pecked on her cheek before he walked from them, heading to the place where Sooyoung and Taeyeon were.

“Aigoo.. I thought only Jung senior having this kind of disease, Jung junior too?”, Tiffany said while laughing, earning a glare from Jessica. Krystal chuckled on her words.

“You will know it someday when you found out your TaeTae flirting around with another girl behind your back”, she replied.

“I’m not delusional like you, though. I trust him”, Tiffany said while sipping her cocktail.

“Whatever!”, Jessica replied as she stuck her tongue out at her best friend. Tiffany and Krystal just laughed at her childish antics.

“Sometimes I don’t know who’s the elder one between you two”, Tiffany said teasingly while shaking her head.

“Unnies, just stop it, will you guys? Just chill out, and let’s enjoy the party, okay?”, Krystal said.

“Yeah, let’s!”, Tiffany said, joining Krystal. The three ladies then laughing, and they continued chatting while enjoying their drinks.

“Wow, nice place, boss!”, Taeyang said excitedly soon after they arrived in front of the nightclub. Yuri brought his team member together using his Audi Q7 SUV car, and parked at the reserved VIP parking space of the nightclub.

“Yeah”, he replied shortly. “Alright, guys. Let’s get inside. Kaja!”, Yuri said right after he went out of the car. He waited for the rest to get out of the car.

“Hey, Yul! Welcome! Welcome!”, Sooyoung happily welcoming his best friend and the team.

“Thanks, buddy. Where’s Tae?”, he asked while signaling his team member to get inside the club.

“Oh, he went to the restroom for a while. Come, let’s get inside”, Sooyoung said.

“The guests are all here?”, he asked as he followed Sooyoung from behind, heading to the bar.

“Nope, we are actually waiting for the models of our CF. They should be arrive here any minute from now”, Sooyoung replied. Yuri nodded his head.

“Hey, buddy!”, Taeyeon greeted Yuri after he came back from the restroom.

“Hey, Tae. So, are you guys satisfied with our work so far?”, he asked while looking at his besties.

“Yeah. Great job, buddy! We know we can rely on you”, Taeyeon said as he patted on Yuri’s back.

“Haishh.. don’t mention it, though. Besides, we received a good pay from your company. Of course we will do the best”, Yuri said as he chuckled. “Guys, please excuse me for a while. I need to go to the restroom”, Yuri excused himself.

“Yeah, sure buddy”, Taeyeon said. With that, Yuri immediately heading to the restroom. While Taeyeon and Sooyoung were busy chatting, suddenly they’re being approached by someone.

“Excuse me, Sooyoung ssi”, the person asked.

“Ah, Chunyeon ssi, we’re waiting for you”, Sooyoung said as he shook hands with the person. Chunyeon is actually Yoona’s manager. “Err, where’s Yoona ssi?”, Sooyoung asked while his eyes wandering the surrounding.

“She’s here just now. Oh, there she is”, Chunyeon said right after he saw Yoona was walking towards them.

“Yoona, let me introduce you to the CEOs of Star Agency. This is Choi Sooyoung ssi, and the other one is his share partner, Kim Taeyeon ssi”, Chunyeon introduced them to Yoona.

“Annyeong! Nice to meet you, Sooyoung ssi, Taeyeon ssi”, Yoona said and bowed to them. She was wearing a short red dress, and she looked extremely gorgeous on that night.

“Nice to meet you too, Yoona ssi”, Sooyoung and Taeyeon said in unison.

“Wow, she looks gorgeous, isn’t she?”, Sooyoung whispered to Taeyeon.

“You want Jessica to kill you?”, Taeyeon replied as he smirked.

“Yah!”, Sooyoung exclaimed slowly.

“Ermm.. excuse me. I need to go to the restroom”, Yoona said as she excused herself.

“Yeah, yeah, sure. Go ahead, Yoona ssi. The restroom is at your right side over there”, Taeyeon said as he pointed her the direction.

“Oh, thank you, Taeyeon ssi”, she thanked Taeyeon before she headed to the restroom. Not long after Yuri came back from the restroom.

“Ah, Chunyeon ssi. Let me introduce you to our CF song composer. This is Kwon Yuri”, Sooyoung introduced Yuri to Chunyeon.

“I’m Kwon Yuri”, Yuri said as he shook hands with Chunyeon.

“Nice to meet you Yuri ssi, I’m Chunyeon”, he replied with smile.

“Chunyeon ssi is the manager of one of our CF models”, Sooyoung said. Yuri nodded his head.

“Sorry we’re late!”, a voice then suddenly interrupted their ice breaking session. Two men immediately approached them.

“Ah, Wooyoung ssi! Nah, it’s okay. The event has not started yet”, Taeyeon said.

“Yul, this is Wooyoung ssi, and Taecyeon ssi. Taecyeon ssi is the model for our CF too. Wooyoung ssi is his manager”, Taeyeon introduced them to Yuri. Yuri greeted them and shook his hand with both of them.

“Joesonghamnida!”, Yoona said soon after she approached the group. Yuri turned to look at the person, and his eyes widened in surprise.

“Y-yoona ssi?”, he said. Yoona immediately looked at Yuri as she was in shocked too.

“Y-yuri?”
