I watched her rest her head against my arm that night, she was smiling softly in her sleep. I felt myself chuckle lightly. She is too cute.

I gently moved her hair from her face, trying hard to not electrify from the feeling of my skin against hers. She moved her face a bit, making me feel a bit startled, but relieved when she seemed to still be asleep. I lean down to kiss her forehead and just as I do, my phone goes off loudly on the nightstand, making me jump out of my skin.

I get up slowly, trying all my best to be quick but to not wake her. I recognize the number on the phone and instantly pick up, my breath being taken away.

"Hello?" I looked at the clock in the room. It was close to eight in the morning. I sighed quietly to myself, I didn't get an ounce of sleep. Dammit.

"Jung... Jung Daehyun? Is this Jung Daehyun?" the nurse on the phone sounded a bit off.

"Yes, it is. Jung Daehyun speaking."

"We need you to come in today."

I look back my shoulder, seeing her still asleep. I walk towards the door, trying to quiet my voice down a bit. "Today?"

"Yes. It is necessary for you to come today."
