POV: Daehyun

I walked into the hospital, feeling myself becoming more aggravated with how the situation was becoming. He found out the truth already, didn't he? What else did he need to know?

The nurse recognized him and motioned him over to enter the room in the back. Soon enough, the doctor came in holding a bunch of papers in his hands.

"What is it?" my voice quivered. "You told me everything already, I thought."

He nodded slowly before carefully speaking. "Sir, we're going to advise you to getting some treatment for your issue."

I look at him carefully. "Treatment?"

He nodded once more. "Treatment that might prolong the problem. It's your choice but we do advise you to consider this."

"How much longer will it prolong it?"

Silence.

The doctor swallowed hard. "It... It really depends on how well your body takes it."

I look at him, taking in his words slowly.

"Sir," he started again, "What we mean is, you shouldn't just let this problem... Erm. Kill you like this. If you get treated, you might be able to live a bit longer. You might be able to avoid death a bit."

Those were the words.

The words that I've been avoiding all this time.

Kill.

Death.
