POV: Daehyun

I feel as if I'm cured.

Not only my heart is now one whole piece again, but my body feels so much better. My mind is more relaxed, no more death scares, no more sudden warning beeps from the monitor. It's really as if my cure had been her all this time.

I smiled as I listened to my doctor tell me about my improvement and squeezed her hand, knowing she was just as pleased.

"Thank you so much," I watched her bow and thank my doctor for his time as he closed the door, leaving us two alone.

"Daehyun, this is wonderful!" she kissed me softly. "They say that if you continue this, then you might be able to come stay with me for a few days!"

I nodded and kissed her back, speaking as she withdrew. "I can't wait to sleep in a bed next to you, instead of something like...this," I pointed to the mattress they called a bed underneath me.

She laughed lightly, "Don't worry! You'd be back at home soon!" She kissed me once more, I felt her smile against my mouth.

Ten Minutes Later:

"I'll be right back," she let go of my hand after looking at the time. "Youngjae is almost here and I think I should go meet him since we're in a different room than usual."

I pouted but nodded in understanding. "Don't take too long, my hand is lonely."

She giggled at my cheesiness. "Fifteen minutes max, I promise. Just wait for fifteen minutes."

I watched her leave the room and closed my eyes softly.

Fifteen minutes, I told myself. Just fifteen minutes.

Another Five Minutes Later:

I heard a loud obnoxious beep ring in my ears. I tried to ignore it but the beeping wouldn't stop and it was really bothering me. I tried to open my eyes to see what was going on.
