It's been about a month since everything. Daehyun and you still are in love, and your life is what you call perfect.

Even though he comes home a bit later into the night every once in a while still, you're okay with it. Especially with the fact that he's begun wearing his promise ring again. It has been a while since he's worn it because of your wedding band and him claiming that he doesn't want to wear more than one ring. You were happy to see him having it on him again, even though he chained it as a necklace around his neck, you were happy.

"Daehyun, what is this?" You open the small box, feeling yourself smile at the sight.

It was a promise ring.

"Dae... Daehyun..."

"Look at it," he motioned you to take it out.

You looked at it carefully, seeing that your names were carved into it. Underneath your names was the word, 'Forever'.

"I don't usually wear rings," he admitted meekly, "But I'll still keep mine's if you promise to wear yours."

You nodded, bringing your arms around his neck for a kiss. "I love them, Daehyun. Thank you."

He smiled into the kiss, sliding your ring onto your finger.

"Happy first anniversary, ____."

You twist your two rings on your finger as you waited for him to get back from work today. You haven't made dinner tonight because tonight you two are planning on eating out.

Your phone gives off a ring, you look at the text message in wonder.

I'm so, so sorry but I have to cancel tonight.

Something came up. I'm really sorry.

Please call Yuri over to go eat out with you instead, you probably haven't even made anything to eat yet.

You groan loudly, this was probably the third time in a row that this has happened. What was he up to? He didn't even say that it was work. He called it a plan. Without wanting to know anymore, you shoot him a message back.

It's fine, don't apologize.

I'll see you tonight.

Love you.

You dial Yuri's number but the call gets sent to voicemail. Dammit. Guess it's time for Plan B.

You grab your bag as you walk out the house.
