"Daehyun, what are you doing here?"

He smiled sadly at you before sitting next to you, handing you a small box. You looked up at him in confusion before opening it.

It was two rings.

The two rings that you gave back to him that day you broke up.

"Daehyun, what happened? What happened between us? How did we turn out like-"

He interrupted you with a small peck on the cheek before standing. He looked back at you with sad eyes before speaking.

"___, remember that no matter what, I'll always love you."

"Daehyun, wait, don't leave-"

"It's for your own good."

Before you could say anymore, he was gone from your sight. Just like that. You felt yourself crying, crying because of him and the memory of how you left him out in the cold. How you carelessly left him that day without looking back.

You felt someone tugging on your shoulder, shaking you gently as you cried. A voice was ringing in your ears, it was chanting your name gently, the tugs on your shoulder becoming more and more urgent.

You opened your eyes to see Yongguk sitting next to you, giving you worried eyes.

"___, it's just a bad dream," he lightly touched your forehead to check if it was another fever.

You sat upwards, rubbing your eyes from the tears and trying hard to give him a thankful smile.

"Another bad dream... Huh." You were trying to lighten the mood with a small joke, but he wasn't laughing.

"It's still not stopping. ____, it's been months and you're having nightmares still." He was definitely concerned. The worst part was that he didn't know what they were about, or who they were about. You shifted uncomfortably in your seat as he waited for you to speak, he wanted you to tell him what was going on in your head, what it was that has been taunting your nights all this time.

But you can't tell him.

You didn't even want to admit it to yourself.

All of these months, even though you now had Yongguk by your side, you still felt that your feelings could only go to Daehyun.

You missed him, you missed Daehyun. A lot. More than you could have even expected.
